Psalms - Chapter: 28

>
28:1[A Psalme of Dauid.] Vnto thee will I cry, O Lord, my rocke, be not silent to mee: lest if thou be silent to me, I become like them that goe downe into the pit.
28:2Heare the voyce of my supplications, when I cry vnto thee: when I lift vp my handes toward thy holy Oracle.
28:3Draw me not away with the wicked, and with the workers of iniquitie: which speake peace to their neighbors, but mischiefe is in their hearts.
28:4Giue them according to their deedes, and according to the wickednes of their endeuours: giue them after the worke of their handes, render to them their desert.
28:5Because they regard not the workes of the Lord, nor the operation of his hands, he shal destroy them, and not build them vp.
28:6Blessed be the Lord, because he hath heard the voyce of my supplications.
28:7The Lord is my strength, and my shield, my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly reioyceth, and with my song will I praise him.
28:8The Lord is their strength, and hee is the sauing strength of his Anointed.
28:9Saue thy people, and blesse thine inheritance, feede them also, and lift them vp for euer.

28:1Vnto thee I crye O God my strength, make not as though thou were deafe at me: lest if thou holdest thy peace, I become like them that go downe into the graue
28:2Heare the voyce of my humble petitions when I crye vnto thee: when I holde vp my handes towarde thy holy place where thy arke is
28:3Take me not away with the vngodlye, and with the workers of iniquitie: whiche speake of peace to their neighbours, but mischiefe is in their heartes
28:4Rewarde them accordyng to their deedes: and according to the wickednes of their owne inuentions. (28:5) Recompence them after the worke of their handes: pay them home that they haue deserued
28:5(28:6) For they geue not their minde to vnderstande the doynges of God and the worke of his handes: therefore he wyll breake them downe, and not buylde them vp
28:6(28:7) Blessed be God: for he hath hearde the voyce of mine humble petitions
28:7(28:8) God is my strength and my shielde, my heart hath trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart skippeth for ioy, and in my song I wyll prayse hym
28:8(28:9) God is their strength: and the strength that saueth his annoynted
28:9(28:10) O saue thy people, and geue thy blessing vnto thine inheritaunce: feede them and exalt them for euermore

28:1A Psalme of David. Unto thee, O Lord, doe I crie: O my strength, be not deafe toward mee, lest, if thou answere me not, I be like them that goe downe into the pit.
28:2Heare the voyce of my petitions, when I crie vnto thee, when I holde vp mine handes towarde thine holy Oracle.
28:3Drawe mee not away with the wicked, and with the woorkers of iniquitie: which speake friendly to their neighbours, when malice is in their hearts.
28:4Reward them according to their deedes, and according to the wickednes of their inuentions: recompense them after the woorke of their handes: render them their reward.
28:5For they regarde not the woorkes of the Lord, nor the operation of his handes: therefore breake them downe, and builde them not vp.
28:6Praised be the Lord, for he hath heard the voyce of my petitions.
28:7The Lord is my strength and my shielde: mine heart trusted in him, and I was helped: therfore mine heart shall reioyce, and with my song will I praise him.
28:8The Lord is their strength, and he is the strength of the deliuerances of his anointed.
28:9Saue thy people, and blesse thine inheritance: feede them also, and exalt them for euer.
