28:1	[A Psalme of Dauid.] Vnto thee will I cry, O Lord, my rocke, be not silent to mee: lest if thou be silent to me, I become like them that goe downe into the pit.
28:2	Heare the voyce of my supplications, when I cry vnto thee: when I lift vp my handes toward thy holy Oracle.
28:3	Draw me not away with the wicked, and with the workers of iniquitie: which speake peace to their neighbors, but mischiefe is in their hearts.
28:4	Giue them according to their deedes, and according to the wickednes of their endeuours: giue them after the worke of their handes, render to them their desert.
28:5	Because they regard not the workes of the Lord, nor the operation of his hands, he shal destroy them, and not build them vp.
28:6	Blessed be the Lord, because he hath heard the voyce of my supplications.
28:7	The Lord is my strength, and my shield, my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly reioyceth, and with my song will I praise him.
28:8	The Lord is their strength, and hee is the sauing strength of his Anointed.
28:9	Saue thy people, and blesse thine inheritance, feede them also, and lift them vp for euer.

28:2	Heare the voyce of my petitions, when I crie vnto thee, when I holde vp mine handes towarde thine holy Oracle.
28:3	Drawe mee not away with the wicked, and with the woorkers of iniquitie: which speake friendly to their neighbours, when malice is in their hearts.
28:4	Reward them according to their deedes, and according to the wickednes of their inuentions: recompense them after the woorke of their handes: render them their reward.
28:5	For they regarde not the woorkes of the Lord, nor the operation of his handes: therefore breake them downe, and builde them not vp.
28:6	Praised be the Lord, for he hath heard the voyce of my petitions.
28:7	The Lord is my strength and my shielde: mine heart trusted in him, and I was helped: therfore mine heart shall reioyce, and with my song will I praise him.
28:8	The Lord is their strength, and he is the strength of the deliuerances of his anointed.
28:9	Saue thy people, and blesse thine inheritance: feede them also, and exalt them for euer.

28:2	Heare the voyce of my humble peticyons, when I crye vnto the, whan I holde vp my, handes towarde the mercyseate of thy holy temple.
28:3	O plucke me not awaye with the vngodly and wicked doers which speake frendly to their neyghbours, but ymagine myschefe in their hertes.
28:4	Rewarde them accordinge to their dedes, and accordynge to the wyckednesse of their awne inuencions.
28:5	Recompense them after the worcke of their handes: paye them that they haue deserued.
28:6	For they regarde not in ther mynde the worckes of the Lorde, ner the operacion of his handes: therfore shall he breake them downe, & not buylde them vp.
28:7	Praysed be the Lorde, for he hath hearde the voyce of myne humble peticions.
28:8	The Lorde is my strength & my shylde: my hert hath trusted in him, & I am helped: therfore my herte daunseth for ioye, and in my songe will I prayse him.
28:9	The Lorde is their strength: and he is the wholsome defence of his anoynted. O Saue thy people, & geue thy blessinge vnto thyne enheritaunce: fede them, & sett them vp for euer.
