32:1	An instruccyon of Dauid. Blessed is he, whose vnryghteousnesse is forgeuen, and whose synne is couered.
32:2	Blessed is the man, vnto whom the Lorde imputeth no synne, and in whose sprete there is no gyle.
32:3	For whyle I helde my tonge, my bones consumed awaye thorowe my daylye complayninge.
32:4	For thy hande is heuy vpon me daye and nyght, and my moysture is lyke the drouth in Sommer. Sela.

32:6	I sayde: I wyll confesse my synnes vnto the Lorde, & so thou forgauest the wyckednesse of my synne. Sela.
32:7	For this shall euery one that is godly, make his prayer vnto the in a tyme when thou mayeste be founde, but in the great water floudes they shall not come nye hym.
32:8	Thou art a place to hyde me in, thou shalt preserue me from trouble: thou shalt compasse me about with songes of delyueraunce. Sela.
32:9	I wyll enfourme the, & teache the in the waye wherin thou shalt go: and I wyll guyde the with myne eye.
32:10	Be not ye lyke horse and mule, which haue no vnderstandynge. Whose mouthes must be holden with byt & brydle, lest they fall vpon the.
32:11	Greate plages remayne for the vngodly, but who so putteth hys trust in the Lorde, mercy embraceth him on euery syde. Be glad, O ye ryghteous and reioyse in the Lorde: and be ioyfull all ye that are true of herte.

32:5	He loueth merci and doom; the erthe is ful of the merci of the Lord.
32:6	Heuenes ben maad stidfast bi the word of the Lord; and `al the vertu of tho bi the spirit of his mouth.
32:7	And he gaderith togidere the watris of the see as in a bowge; and settith depe watris in tresours.
32:8	Al erthe drede the Lord; sotheli alle men enhabitynge the world ben mouyd of hym.
32:9	For he seide, and thingis weren maad; he comaundide, and thingis weren maad of nouyt.
32:10	The Lord distrieth the counsels of folkis, forsothe he repreueth the thouytis of puplis; and he repreueth the counsels of prynces.
32:11	But the counsel of the Lord dwellith with outen ende; the thouytis of his herte dwellen in generacioun and into generacioun.

32:8	Thou art my defence in the trouble that is come aboute me, O copasse thou me aboute also with the ioye of delyueraunce.
32:9	Sela. I wil enforme the, and shewe the the waye wherin thou shalt go: I wil fasten myne eyes vpon the.
32:10	Be not ye now like horses & mooles, which haue no vnderstondinge. Whose mouthes thou must holde with bytt & brydle, yf they wil not obeie the.
32:11	Greate plages shall ye vngodly haue, but who so putteth his trust in the LORDE, mercy shall compasse him on euery syde. Be glad (o ye rightuous) and reioyse in the LORDE, be ioyfull all ye that are true of herte.
