Psalms - Chapter: 33

>
33:1Reioyse in the Lord, O ye ryghteous, for it becommeth well the iust to be thankfull.
33:2Prayse the Lord with harpe: synge psalmes vnto hym with the lute and instrument of ten strynges.
33:3Synge vnto the Lorde a newe songe, synge prayses lustely with a good corage.
33:4For the worde of the Lorde is true, and all hys worckes are faythfull.
33:5He loueth ryghteousnes and iugement: the earth is full of the goodnesse of the Lorde.
33:6By the worde of the Lorde were the heauens made, and all the Hoostes of them by the breth of his mouth.
33:7He gathereth the waters of the see together as it were vpon a heape, & layeth vp the depe as in a tresure house.
33:8Let all the earth feare the Lorde: stande in awe of hym, all ye that dwell in the worlde.
33:9For he spake, and it was done: he commaunded, and it stode fast.
33:10The Lorde bryngeth the councell of the Heithen to naught, and maketh the deuyces of the people, to be of none effecte.
33:11The councell of the Lorde shall endure for euer, and the thoughtes of hys herte from generacyon to generacyon.
33:12Blessed are the people whose God is the Lorde Iehouah, & blessed are the folcke that haue chosen hym to be theyr inheritaunce.
33:13The Lorde loked downe from heauen, and behelde all the chyldren of men:
33:14from the habitacyon of his dwellynge, he consydreth all them that dwell in the erth.
33:15He fashyoneth all the hertes of them, and vnderstandeth all theyr worckes.
33:16There is no kynge that can be saued by the multytude of an hoost, nether is any myghtie man delyuered by moche strength.
33:17A horse is counted but a vayne thynge to saue a man, neyther shall he delyuer any man by hys greate strength.
33:18Behold the eye of the Lorde is vpon them that feare hym, and vpon them that put theyr trust in his mercy.
33:19To delyuer theyr soules from death, and to fede them in the tyme of dearth.
33:20Oure soule hath paciently taryed for the Lorde for he is oure helpe and oure shylde.
33:21For oure herte shall reioyse in hym, because we haue hoped in hys holy name.
33:22Let thy mercyfull kyndnesse, O Lorde be vpon vs, lyke as we haue put oure trust in the.

33:5I souyte the Lord, and he herde me; and he delyueride me fro alle my tribulaciouns.
33:6Neiye ye to him, and be ye liytned; and youre faces schulen not be schent.
33:7This pore man criede, and the Lord herde hym; and sauyde hym fro alle hise tribulaciouns.
33:8The aungel of the Lord sendith in the cumpas of men dredynge hym; and he schal delyuere hem.
33:9Taaste ye, and se, for the Lord is swete; blessid is the man, that hopith in hym.
33:10Alle ye hooli men of the Lord, drede hym; for no nedynesse is to men dredynge hym.
33:11Riche men weren nedi, and weren hungri; but men that seken the Lord schulen not faile of al good.
33:12Come, ye sones, here ye me; Y schal teche you the drede of the Lord.
33:13Who is a man, that wole lijf; loueth to se good daies?
33:14Forbede thi tunge fro yuel; and thi lippis speke not gile.
33:15Turne thou awei fro yuel, and do good; seke thou pees, and perfitli sue thou it.
33:16The iyen of the Lord ben on iust men; and hise eeren ben to her preiers.
33:17But the cheer of the Lord is on men doynge yuels; that he leese the mynde of hem fro erthe.
33:18Just men cryeden, and the Lord herde hem; and delyueride hem fro alle her tribulaciouns.
33:19The Lord is nyy hem that ben of troblid herte; and he schal saue meke men in spirit.
33:20Many tribulaciouns ben of iust men; and the Lord schal delyuere hem fro alle these.
33:21The Lord kepith alle the boonys of hem; oon of tho schal not be brokun.
33:22The deth of synneris is werst; and thei that haten a iust man schulen trespasse.

33:4For the worde of ye LORDE is true, and all his workes are faithfull.
33:5He loueth mercy & iudgment, ye earth is full of the goodnesse of the LORDE
33:6By the worde of the LORDE were the heauens made, & all the hoostes of them by ye breth of his mouth.
33:7He gathereth ye waters together as it were in a bottell, & laieth vp the depe in secrete.
33:8Let all the earth feare the LORDE, and let all them that dwell in the worlde, stode in awe of him.
33:9For loke what he sayeth, it is done: and loke what he comaudeth, it stondeth fast.
33:10The LORDE bryngeth the councell of the Heithen to naught, and turneth the deuyces of the people.
33:11But the coucell of the LORDE endureth, and the thoughtes of his hert from generacion to generacion.
33:12Blessed are the people that holde the LORDE for their God, & blessed are the folke whom he hath chosen to be his heretage.
33:13The LORDE loketh downe from heauen, & beholdeth all the children of men:
33:14from his stronge seate he considreth all them yt dwell in the worlde.
33:15He only hath fashioned all the hertes of them, & knoweth all their workes.
33:16A kynge is not helped by his owne greate hoost, nether is a giaunte saued thorow the might of his owne stregth.
33:17A horse is but a vayne thynge to saue a man, it is not the power of his stregth that can delyuer him.
33:18Beholde, the eye of the LORDE loketh vnto them that feare him, & put their trust in his mercy.
33:19That he maye delyuer their soules from death, and to fede them in the deare tyme.
33:20Let oure soule paciently abyde the LORDE, for he is oure helpe and shilde.
33:21So shal oure herte reioyse in him, because we haue hoped in his holy name.
33:22Let thy mercifull kyndnesse (o LORDE) be vpon vs, like as we put oure trust in the.
