50:1A Psalme of Asaph. The Lorde euen the most myghtye God hath spoken, and called the world from the rysyng vp of the sonne vnto the goyng downe therof.
50:2Out of Syon hath God apeared in perfecte bewtye.
50:3Oure God shall come, and shall not kepe sylence: there shall go before hym a consumynge fyre, and a myghtye tempest shalbe stered vp rounde aboute hym.
50:4He shall call the heauen from aboue, and the earth, that he maye iudge hys people.
50:5Gather my saynctes together vnto me, those that haue made a couenaunt with me, wyth sacrifyce.
50:6And the heauens shall declare hys ryghteousnesse, for God is iudge hym selfe. Sela.
50:7Heare, O my people: and I wyll speake, I my selfe will testifye agaynst the, O Israel, For I am God, euen thy God.
50:8I wyll not reproue the because of thy sacryfyces, or for thy burntoffrynges, because they were not allwaye before me.
50:9I wyll take no bullock out of thy house, ner he goates out of thy foldes.
50:10For all the beastes of the forest are myne, & so are the catell vpon a thousande hylles.
50:11I knowe all the foules vpon the mountaynes, & the wylde beastes of the feld are in my syght.
50:12If I be hongrye I wyll not tell the: for the whole worlde is myne, and all that therin is.
50:13Thinkest thou, that I wyll eat bulles flesh and drincke the bloud of goates?
50:14Offre vnto God thanckesgeuynge, and paye thy vowes vnto the most hyest.
50:15And call vpon me in the tyme of trouble, so wyll I heare the, and thou shalt prayse me.
50:16But vnto the vngodly sayed God. Why doest thou preach my lawes, & takest my couenaunt in thy mouth?
50:17Where as thou hatest to be refourmed, & hast cast my wordes behynd the?
50:18Whan thou sawest a thefe, thou consentedest vnto hym, and hast bene partaker wyth the aduouterers.
50:19Thou hast let thy mouth speake wickednesse, and with thy tong thou hast set forth disceat.
50:20Thou sattest and spakest agaynst thy brother, yee, & hast sclaundred thine awne mothers sonne.
50:21These thynges hast thou done, & I helde my tonge: & thou thoughtest that I am euen soch a one as thy selfe: but I wyll reproue the, and set before the, the thinges that thou hast done.
50:22O consydre this, ye that forget God: lest I plucke you awaye, and there be none to delyuer you.
50:23Who so offreth me thanckes and prayse, he honoureth me: and to hym that ordreth hys conuersacyon ryght wyll I shewe the saluacyon of God.

50:2`whanne Nathan the prophete cam to hym, whanne he entride to Bersabee.
50:3God, haue thou merci on me; bi thi greet merci. And bi the mychilnesse of thi merciful doyngis; do thou awei my wickidnesse.
50:4More waische thou me fro my wickidnesse; and clense thou me fro my synne.
50:5For Y knouleche my wickidnesse; and my synne is euere ayens me.
50:6I haue synned to thee aloone, and Y haue do yuel bifor thee; that thou be iustified in thi wordis, and ouercome whanne thou art demed. For lo!
50:7Y was conseyued in wickednessis; and my modir conceyuede me in synnes.
50:8For lo! thou louedist treuthe; thou hast schewid to me the vncerteyn thingis, and pryuy thingis of thi wisdom.
50:9Lord, sprenge thou me with ysope, and Y schal be clensid; waische thou me, and Y schal be maad whijt more than snow.
50:10Yyue thou ioie, and gladnesse to myn heryng; and boonys maad meke schulen ful out make ioye.
50:11Turne awei thi face fro my synnes; and do awei alle my wickidnesses.
50:12God, make thou a clene herte in me; and make thou newe a riytful spirit in my entrailis.
50:13Caste thou me not awei fro thi face; and take thou not awei fro me thin hooli spirit.
50:14Yiue thou to me the gladnesse of thyn helthe; and conferme thou me with the principal spirit.
50:15I schal teche wickid men thi weies; and vnfeithful men schulen be conuertid to thee.
50:16God, the God of myn helthe, delyuere thou me fro bloodis; and my tunge schal ioyfuli synge thi riytfulnesse.
50:17Lord, `opene thou my lippis; and my mouth schal telle thi preysyng.
50:18For if thou haddist wold sacrifice, Y hadde youe; treuli thou schalt not delite in brent sacrifices.
50:19A sacrifice to God is a spirit troblid; God, thou schalt not dispise a contrit herte and `maad meke.
50:20Lord, do thou benygneli in thi good wille to Syon; that the wallis of Jerusalem be bildid.
50:21Thanne thou schalt take plesauntli the sacrifice of riytfulnesse, offryngis, and brent sacrifices; thanne thei schulen putte calues on thin auter.

50:6And the heauens shal declare his rightuousnesse, for God is iudge himself.
50:7Sela. Heare, o my people: let me speake, let me testifie amonge you, o Israel: I am God, euen thy God.
50:8I reproue the not because of thy sacrifice, yi burntofferinges are allwaye before me.
50:9I wil take no bullockes out of thy house, ner gotes out of thy foldes.
50:10For all the beestes of the felde are myne, and thousandes of catell vpon the hilles.
50:11I knowe all the foules vpon the mountaynes, and the wilde beastes of the felde are in my sight.
50:12Yf I be hongrie, I wil not tell the: for ye whole worlde is myne, and all that therin is.
50:13Thynkest thou, that I wil eate the flesh of oxen, or drynke the bloude of goates?
50:14Offre vnto God prayse and thankesgeuynge, and paye thy vowes vnto the most hyest.
50:15And call vpo me in the tyme of trouble, so wil I heare the, that thou shalt thanke me.
50:16But vnto the vngodly sayeth God: Why doest thou preach my lawes, and takest my couenaunt in thy mouth?
50:17Where as thou hatest to be refourmed, and castest my wordes behynde the?
50:18Yf thou seist a thefe, thou runnest with him, and art partaker with the aduouterers.
50:19Thou lettest yi mouth speake wickednesse, & thy tonge paynteth disceate.
50:20Thou syttest and speakest agaynst thy brother, yee and slaundrest thine owne mothers sonne.
50:21This thou doest, whyle I holde my tonge: and thinkest me to be eue soch one as thy self: but I wil reproue the, & set my self agaynst the.
50:22O considre this, ye that forget God: lest I plucke you awaie, and there be none to delyuer you.
50:23Who so offreth me thakes and prayse, he honoureth me: & this is the waye, wherby I wil shewe him the sauynge health of God.
