53:1	[To the chiefe musician vpon Mahalath, Maschil, A Psalme of Dauid.] The foole hath sayde in his heart, There is no god; Corrupt are they, and haue done abhominable iniquitie; there is none that doth good.
53:2	God looked downe from heauen vpon the children of men, to see if there were any that did vnderstand, that did seeke God.
53:3	Euery one of them is gone backe, they are altogether become filthy: there is none that doth good, no not one.
53:4	Haue the workers of iniquitie no knowledge? who eate vp my people, as they eate bread; they haue not called vpon God.
53:5	There were they in great feare, where no feare was: for God hath scattered the bones of him that incampeth against thee, thou hast put them to shame, because God hath despised them.
53:6	O that the saluation of Israel were come out of Sion! when God bringeth backe the captiuitie of his people, Iaakob shall reioyce, and Israel shall be glad.

53:4	Doe not the workers of iniquitie knowe that they eate vp my people as they eate bread? they call not vpon God.
53:5	There they were afraide for feare, where no feare was: for God hath scattered the bones of him that besieged thee: thou hast put them to confusion, because God hath cast them off.
53:6	Oh giue saluation vnto Israel out of Zion: when God turneth the captiuitie of his people, then Iaakob shall reioyce, and Israel shalbe glad.


53:1	To the chaunter vpon Mahalath, an instruccyon of Dauid. The foolysh bodye hath sayed in hys hert: there is no God. Corrupte are they, & become abhomynable in theyr wickednesse: there is none that doth good.
53:2	God loked downe from heauen vpon the children of men, to se yf there were eny that wolde vnderstande, and seke after God.
53:3	But they are all gone oute of the waye, they are all together become abhomynable: there is also none that doth good, no not one.
53:4	Are not they without vnderstandynge that worcke wickednes, eating vp my people as yf they wolde eate bread? they haue not called vpon God.
53:5	They were afraied, where no feare was: for God hath broken the bones of hym that beseged the: thou hast put them to confusion, because God hath despysed them.
53:6	Oh that the saluacyon were geuen vnto Israel out of Sion: Oh that the Lorde wold delyuer hys people out of captiuyte. Then shulde Iacob reioyse, and Israell shulde be ryght glad.
