Psalms - Chapter: 65

65:1To the chaunter, a Psalme & songe of Dauid. Thou (O God) art praysed in Sion, & vnto the shal the vowe be perfourmed.
65:2Thou that hearest the prayer: vnto the shall all flesh come.
65:3My mysdedes preuayle agaynst me: Oh be thou mercyfull vnto our sinnes.
65:4Blessed is the man whom thou chosest and receauest vnto the: he shal dwell in thy court: and shalbe satisfyed with the pleasures of thy house, euen of thy holy temple.
65:5Thou shalt shewe vs wonderfull thynges in ryghteousnesse (O God) of our saluacion: thou that art the hope of al the endes of the earth, and of them that remayne in the broade see?
65:6Which in hys strength setteth fast the mountaynes, and is gyrded about with power.
65:7Which stilleth the ragyng of the see, & the noyse of hys waues, and the madnes of the people.
65:8They also that dwel in the vttermoost partes (of the earth) shalbe afrayed at thy tokens, thou that makest the out goinges of the mornynge and euenyng to prayse the.
65:9Thou visitest the earth, and blessest it: thou makest it very plenteous.
65:10The ryuer of God is full of water, thou preparest their corne: for so thou prouydest for the earthe.
65:11Thou waterest her forowes, thou sendest rayne into the litle valleys therof: thou makest it soft with the droppes of rayne, and blessed the increase of it.
65:12Thou crownest the yeare wt thy goodnesse: & thy cloudes droppe fatnesse.
65:13They shall droppe vpon the dwellynges of the wildernesse: and the lytle hylles shall reioyse on euery syde. The foldes shalbe full of shepe, the valleys also shall stande so thycke wt corne, that they shall laugh and synge.

 

65:1The titil of the fyue and sixtithe salm. To the victorie, the song of salm.
65:2Al the erthe, make ye ioie hertli to God, seie ye salm to his name; yyue ye glorie to his heriyng.
65:3Seie ye to God, Lord, thi werkis ben dredeful; in the multitude of thi vertu thin enemyes schulen lie to thee.
65:4God, al the erthe worschipe thee, and synge to thee; seie it salm to thi name.
65:5Come ye and se ye the werkis of God; ferdful in counseils on the sones of men.
65:6Which turnede the see in to drie lond; in the flood thei schulen passe with foot, there we schulen be glad in hym.
65:7Which is Lord in his vertu withouten ende, hise iyen biholden on folkis; thei that maken scharp be not enhaunsid in hem silf.
65:8Ye hethen men, blesse oure God; and make ye herd the vois of his preising.
65:9That hath set my soule to lijf, and yaf not my feet in to stiryng.
65:10For thou, God, hast preued vs; thou hast examyned vs bi fier, as siluer is examyned.
65:11Thou leddist vs in to a snare, thou puttidist tribulaciouns in oure bak;
65:12thou settidist men on oure heedis. We passiden bi fier and water; and thou leddist vs out in to refreschyng.
65:13I schal entre in to thin hous in brent sacrifices; Y schal yelde to thee my vowis,

65:5Heare vs acordinge vnto thy woderfull rightuousnesse, o God oure saluacio: thou that art the hope of all the endes of ye earth, and off the brode see.
65:6Which in his strength setteth fast the moutaynes, & is gyrded aboute with power.
65:7Which stilleth ye ragige of the see, the roaringe off his wawes, and the woodnes of the people.
65:8They that dwell in ye vttemost partes are afrayed at thy tokens, thou makest both the mornynge and euenynge starres to prayse ye.
65:9Thou visetest the earth, thou watrest it, and makest it very plenteous.
65:10The ryuer of God is full of waters, thou preparest man his corne, ad thus thou prouydest for the earth.
65:11Thou watrest hir forowes, thou breakest the harde clottes therof, thou makest it soft with ye droppes of rayne, and blessest the increase of it.
65:12Thou crownest the yeare with thy good, and thy fotesteppes droppe fatnesse.
65:13The dwellinges of the wildernes are fatt also, yt they droppe withall, & the litle hilles are pleasaunt on euery syde. The foldes are full of shepe, the valleys stonde so thicke with corne yt they laugh and synge.
