>
75:1[To the chiefe musician Al-taschith, A Psalme or song of Asaph.] Unto thee, O God, doe we giue thankes, vnto thee doe we giue thanks: for that thy name is nere, thy wonderous works declare.
75:2When I shall receiue the congregation, I will iudge vprightly.
75:3The earth and all the inhabitants thereof are dissolued: I beare vp the pillars of it. Selah.
75:4I said vnto the fooles, Deale not foolishly: and to the wicked, Lift not vp the horne.
75:5Lift not vp your horne on high: speake not with a stiffe necke.
75:6For promotion commeth neither from the East, nor from the West, nor from the South.
75:7But God is the iudge: he putteth downe one, and setteth vp another.
75:8For in the hand of the Lord there is a cup, and the wine is red: it is full of mixture, and he powreth out of the same: but the dregges thereof all the wicked of the earth shall wring them out, and drinke them.
75:9But I will declare for euer; I will sing praises to the God of Iacob.
75:10All the hornes of the wicked also will I cut off; but the hornes of the righteous shall be exalted.

75:1To him that excelleth. Destroy not. A Psalme or song committed toAsaph. We will prayse thee, O God, we will prayse thee, for thy Name is neere: therefore they will declare thy wonderous workes.
75:2When I shall take a conuenient time, I will iudge righteously.
75:3The earth and all the inhabitantes thereof are dissolued: but I will establish the pillars of it. Selah.
75:4I saide vnto the foolish, Be not so foolish, and to the wicked, Lift not vp the horne.
75:5Lift not vp your horne on high, neither speake with a stiffe necke.
75:6For to come to preferment is neither from the East, nor from the West, nor from the South,
75:7But God is the iudge: he maketh lowe and he maketh hie.
75:8For in the hand of the Lord is a cup, and the wine is red: it is full mixt, and he powreth out of the same: surely all the wicked of the earth shall wring out and drinke the dregges thereof.
75:9But I will declare for euer, and sing prayses vnto the God of Iaakob.
75:10All the hornes of the wicked also will I breake: but the hornes of the righteous shalbe exalted.

75:1To the chaunter, Destroye not. A Psalme and songe of Asaph. Unto the (O God) do we geue thankes yee, vnto the do we geue thankes:
75:2thy name also is so nye, & that do thy wonderous worckes declare.
75:3When I receaue the congregacion, I shall iudge accordynge vnto ryght.
75:4The earth is weake and all the in habiters therof, I beare vp the pyllers of it.
75:5I sayde vnto the foles: deale not so madly, and to the vngodly: set not vp your horne.
75:6Set not vp youre horne on hye, & speake not with a styfnecke.
75:7For promocion commeth nether from the East, ner from the west, ner yet from the south.
75:8And why? God is the Iudge: he putteth downe one, and setteth vp another.
75:9For in the hande of the Lord there is a cuppe, & the wyne is redd, It is full mixte, & he poureth out of the same. As for the dregges therof, all the vngodly of the earth shall drincke them, and sucke them out.
75:10But I wyll talke of the God of Iacob, and prayse hym for euer. All the hornes of the vngodly also wyll I breake, and the hornes of the ryghteous shalbe exalted.
