>
94:1The foure and nyntithe salm. Come ye, make we ful out ioie to the Lord; hertli synge we to God, oure heelthe.
94:2Bifore ocupie we his face in knowleching; and hertli synge we to him in salmes.
94:3For God is a greet Lord, and a greet king aboue alle goddis; for the Lord schal not putte awei his puple.
94:4For alle the endis of erthe ben in his hond; and the hiynesses of hillis ben hise.
94:5For the see is his, and he made it; and hise hondis formeden the drie lond.
94:6Come ye, herie we, and falle we doun bifore God, wepe we bifore the Lord that made vs;
94:7for he is oure Lord God. And we ben the puple of his lesewe; and the scheep of his hond.
94:8If ye han herd his vois to dai; nyle ye make hard youre hertis.
94:9As in the terryng to wraththe; bi the dai of temptacioun in desert. Where youre fadris temptiden me; thei preueden and sien my werkis.
94:10Fourti yeer I was offendid to this generacioun; and Y seide, Euere thei erren in herte.
94:11And these men knewen not my weies; to whiche Y swoor in myn ire, thei schulen not entre in to my reste.

94:1O Lord God the auenger, O God the auenger, shewe thy selfe clearely.
94:2Exalt thy selfe, O Iudge of the worlde, and render a reward to the proude.
94:3Lord how long shall the wicked, how long shall the wicked triumph?
94:4They prate and speake fiercely: all the workers of iniquitie vaunt themselues.
94:5They smite downe thy people, O Lord, and trouble thine heritage.
94:6They slay the widowe and the stranger, and murder the fatherlesse.
94:7Yet they say, The Lord shall not see: neither will the God of Iaakob regard it.
94:8Vnderstande ye vnwise among the people: and ye fooles, when will ye be wise?
94:9Hee that planted the eare, shall hee not heare? or he that formed the eye, shall he not see?
94:10Or he that chastiseth the nations, shall he not correct? hee that teacheth man knowledge, shall he not knowe?
94:11The Lord knoweth the thoughtes of man, that they are vanitie.
94:12Blessed is the man, whom thou chastisest, O Lord, and teachest him in thy Lawe,
94:13That thou mayest giue him rest from the dayes of euill, whiles the pitte is digged for the wicked.
94:14Surely the Lord will not faile his people, neither will he forsake his inheritance.
94:15For iudgement shall returne to iustice, and all the vpright in heart shall follow after it.
94:16Who will rise vp with me against the wicked? or who will take my part against the workers of iniquitie?
94:17If the Lord had not holpen me, my soule had almost dwelt in silence.
94:18When I said, My foote slideth, thy mercy, O Lord, stayed me.
94:19In the multitude of my thoughts in mine heart, thy comfortes haue reioyced my soule.
94:20Hath the throne of iniquitie fellowship with thee, which forgeth wrong for a Lawe?
94:21They gather them together against the soule of the righteous, and condemne the innocent blood.
94:22But the Lord is my refuge, and my God is the rocke of mine hope.
94:23And hee will recompence them their wickednes, and destroy them in their owne malice: yea, the Lord our God shall destroy them.
