Psalms - Chapter: 113

113:1Prayse the Lorde. Prayse the Lord (ye seruauntes) O prayse the name of the Lorde.
113:2Blessed be the name of the Lorde, from thys tyme forth for euermore.
113:3The Lordes name is praysed, from the risyng vp of the Sunne vnto the goynge downe of the same.
113:4The Lord is hye aboue all Heathen, and his glory aboue the heauens.
113:5Who is lyke vnto the Lorde oure God, that hath hys dwellyng so hye,
113:6& yet humbleth him self, to behold the thynges that are in heauen & earth?
113:7He taketh vp the simple out of the dust, and lyfteth the poore out of the myre.
113:8That he maye sett him with the princes, euen with the prynces of his people.
113:9He maketh the baren woman to kepe house, and to be a ioyfull mother of children. Prayse the Lorde.

 

113:1The titil of the hundrid and thrittenthe salm. Alleluya. In the goyng out of Israel fro Egipt; of the hous of Jacob fro the hethene puple.
113:2Judee was maad the halewyng of hym; Israel the power of hym.
113:3The see siy, and fledde; Jordan was turned abac.
113:4Munteyns ful out ioyeden as rammes; and litle hillis as the lambren of scheep.
113:5Thou see, what was to thee, for thou fleddist; and thou, Jordan, for thou were turned abak?
113:6Munteyns, ye maden ful out ioye as rammes; and litle hillis, as the lambren of scheep.
113:7The erthe was moued fro the face of `the Lord; fro the face of God of Jacob.
113:8Which turnede a stoon in to pondis of watris; and an hard rooch in to wellis of watris.
113:9Lord, not to vs, not to vs; but yyue thou glorie to thi name.

113:3The LORDES name is worthy to be praysed, fro the rysinge vp of the Sonne vnto the goinge downe of the same.
113:4The LORDE is hye aboue all Heithen, and his glory aboue the heaues.
113:5Who is like vnto the LORDE oure God, yt hath his dwellinge so hye,
113:6which humbleth himself, to beholde that is in heauen and earth?
113:7Which taketh vp the symple out of the dust, and lifteth the poore out of the myre.
113:8That he maye set him amonge the prynces, euen amonge the prynces of his people.
113:9Which maketh the baren woman to kepe house, and to be a ioyfull mother of children. Halleluya.
