Psalms - Chapter: 115

>
115:1Not vnto vs, O Lord, not vnto vs, but vnto thy name giue glory: for thy mercy, and for thy truthes sake.
115:2Wherefore should the heathen say: Where is now their God?
115:3But our God is in the heauens: he hath done whatsoeuer he pleased.
115:4Their idoles are siluer and gold: the worke of mens hands.
115:5They haue mouths, but they speake not; eies haue they, but they see not.
115:6They haue eares, but they heare not: noses haue they, but they smell not.
115:7They haue hands, but they handle not, feete haue they, but they walke not: neither speake they through their throat.
115:8They that make them are like vnto them: so is euery one that trusteth in them.
115:9O Israel, trust thou in the Lord: he is their helpe and their shield.
115:10O house of Aaron, trust in the Lord: he is their helpe & their shield.
115:11Ye that feare the Lord trust in the Lord: he is their helpe and their shield.
115:12The Lord hath bene mindfull of vs, he will blesse vs, he will blesse the house of Israel: he will blesse the house of Aaron.
115:13Hee will blesse them that feare the Lord: both small and great.
115:14The Lord shall increase you more and more: you and your children.
115:15You are blessed of the Lord: which made heauen and earth.
115:16The heauen, euen the heauens are the Lords: but the earth hath hee giuen to the children of men.
115:17The dead praise not the Lord: neither any that go downe into silence.
115:18But we will blesse the Lord, from this time foorth and for euermore. Praise the Lord.

115:3Truely our Lorde is in heauen: he hath done whatsoeuer pleased him
115:4Their idols are siluer and gold: euen the workes of mens handes
115:5They haue a mouth and speake not: they haue eyes and see not
115:6They haue eares and heare not: they haue noses and smell not
115:7They haue handes and handle not, they haue feete and walke not: and they vtter no sounde out of their throtes
115:8They that make them are lyke vnto them: euery one that putteth his trust in them
115:9But Israel trust thou in God: he is their ayde and their shielde
115:10Ye house of Aaron trust you in God: he is their ayde and their shielde
115:11Ye that feare God, trust ye in God: he is their ayde and their shielde
115:12God hath ben myndfull of vs, he wyll blesse vs: he wyll blesse the house of Israel, he wyll blesse the house of Aaron
115:13He wyll blesse those that feare God: the small with the great
115:14God wyll encrease you more and more: both you and also your children
115:15Ye are the blessed of God: which made heauen and earth
115:16The heauen, the heauen I say is Gods: and he hath geuen the earth vnto the children of men
115:17The dead prayse not thee O Lorde: neither all they that go downe into the place of scilence
115:18But we wyll prayse the Lord: from this tyme foorth for euermore. Prayse ye the Lorde

115:7They haue handes and touche not: they haue feete and walke not: neither make they a sound with their throte.
115:8They that make them are like vnto them: so are all that trust in them.
115:9O Israel, trust thou in the Lord: for he is their helpe and their shielde.
115:10O house of Aaron, trust ye in the Lord: for he is their helpe and their shielde.
115:11Ye that feare the Lord, trust in the Lord: for he is their helper and their shield.
115:12The Lord hath bene mindfull of vs: he will blesse, he will blesse the house of Israel, he will blesse the house of Aaron.
115:13He will blesse them that feare the Lord, both small and great.
115:14The Lord will increase his graces towarde you, euen toward you and toward your children.
115:15Ye are blessed of the Lord, which made the heauen and the earth.
115:16The heauens, euen the heauens are the Lordes: but he hath giuen the earth to the sonnes of men.
115:17The dead prayse not the Lord, neither any that goe downe into the place of silence.
115:18But we will prayse the Lord from henceforth and for euer. Prayse ye the Lord.
