114:1When Israel went out of Egypt, the house of Iacob from a people of strange language:
114:2Iudah was his sanctuarie: and Israel his dominion.
114:3The sea sawe it, and fled: Iordan was driuen backe.
114:4The mountaines skipped like rammes: and the little hilles like lambes.
114:5What ailed thee, O thou sea, that thou fleddest? thou Iordan, that thou wast driuen backe?
114:6Yee mountaines, that yee skipped like rammes: and yee little hilles like lambes?
114:7Tremble thou earth at the presence of the Lord: at the presence of the God of Iacob:
114:8Which turned the rocke into a standing water: the flint into a fountaine of waters.

 

114:1When Israel came out of Egypt: & the house of Iacob from among the barbarous people
114:2Iuda was his holynesse: and Israel his dominion
114:3The sea sawe that and fled: Iordane was driuen backe
114:4The mountaynes skypped lyke rammes: and the litle hilles like young lambes
114:5What ayleth thee O thou sea that thou fleddest? and thou Iordane that thou wast driuen backe
114:6Ye mountaines what ayled you that ye skipped lyke rammes: and ye litle hilles like young lambes
114:7Tremble thou earth at the presence of the Lorde: at the presence of the Lorde of Iacob
114:8Whiche turned the harde rocke into a standing water: and the flint stone into a springing well of waters

 

114:1When Israel went out of Egypt, and the house of Iaakob from the barbarous people,
114:2Iudah was his sanctification, and Israel his dominion.
114:3The Sea sawe it and fled: Iorden was turned backe.
114:4The mountaines leaped like rams, and the hils as lambes.
114:5What ailed thee, O Sea, that thou fleddest? O Iorden, why wast thou turned backe?
114:6Ye mountaines, why leaped ye like rams, and ye hils as lambes?
114:7The earth trembled at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Iaakob,
114:8Which turneth the rocke into waterpooles, and the flint into a fountaine of water.
