Psalms - Chapter: 116


116:1	I love the LORD, because he hath heard my voice and my supplications.
116:2	Because he hath inclined his ear unto me, therefore will I call upon him as long as I live.
116:3	The sorrows of death compassed me, and the pains of hell gat hold upon me: I found trouble and sorrow.
116:4	Then called I upon the name of the LORD; O LORD, I beseech thee, deliver my soul.
116:5	Gracious is the LORD, and righteous; yea, our God is merciful.
116:6	The LORD preserveth the simple: I was brought low, and he helped me.
116:7	Return unto thy rest, O my soul; for the LORD hath dealt bountifully with thee.
116:8	For thou hast delivered my soul from death, mine eyes from tears, and my feet from falling.
116:9	I will walk before the LORD in the land of the living.
116:10	I believed, therefore have I spoken: I was greatly afflicted:
116:11	I said in my haste, All men are liars.
116:12	What shall I render unto the LORD for all his benefits toward me?
116:13	I will take the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of the LORD.
116:14	I will pay my vows unto the LORD now in the presence of all his people.
116:15	Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints.
116:16	O LORD, truly I am thy servant; I am thy servant, and the son of thine handmaid: thou hast loosed my bonds.
116:17	I will offer to thee the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and will call upon the name of the LORD.
116:18	I will pay my vows unto the LORD now in the presence of all his people,
116:19	In the courts of the LORD's house, in the midst of thee, O Jerusalem. Praise ye the LORD.


116:1	אהבתי כי ישׁמע יהוה את קולי תחנוני׃
116:2	כי הטה אזנו לי ובימי אקרא׃
116:3	אפפוני חבלי מות ומצרי שׁאול מצאוני צרה ויגון אמצא׃
116:4	ובשׁם יהוה אקרא אנה יהוה מלטה נפשׁי׃
116:5	חנון יהוה וצדיק ואלהינו מרחם׃
116:6	שׁמר פתאים יהוה דלותי ולי יהושׁיע׃
116:7	שׁובי נפשׁי למנוחיכי כי יהוה גמל עליכי׃
116:8	כי חלצת נפשׁי ממות את עיני מן דמעה את רגלי מדחי׃
116:9	אתהלך לפני יהוה בארצות החיים׃
116:10	האמנתי כי אדבר אני עניתי מאד׃
116:11	אני אמרתי בחפזי כל האדם כזב׃
116:12	מה אשׁיב ליהוה כל תגמולוהי עלי׃
116:13	כוס ישׁועות אשׂא ובשׁם יהוה אקרא׃
116:14	נדרי ליהוה אשׁלם נגדה נא לכל עמו׃
116:15	יקר בעיני יהוה המותה לחסידיו׃
116:16	אנה יהוה כי אני עבדך אני עבדך בן אמתך פתחת למוסרי׃
116:17	לך אזבח זבח תודה ובשׁם יהוה אקרא׃
116:18	נדרי ליהוה אשׁלם נגדה נא לכל עמו׃
116:19	בחצרות בית יהוה בתוככי ירושׁלם הללו יה׃


116:1	I have loved, because Jehovah heareth My voice, my supplication,
116:2	Because He hath inclined His ear to me, And during my days I call.
116:3	Compassed me have cords of death, And straits of Sheol have found me, Distress and sorrow I find.
116:4	And in the name of Jehovah I call: I pray Thee, O Jehovah, deliver my soul,
116:5	Gracious `is' Jehovah, and righteous, Yea, our God `is' merciful,
116:6	A preserver of the simple `is' Jehovah, I was low, and to me He giveth salvation.
116:7	Turn back, O my soul, to thy rest, For Jehovah hath conferred benefits on thee.
116:8	For Thou hast delivered my soul from death, My eyes from tears, my feet from overthrowing.
116:9	I walk habitually before Jehovah In the lands of the living.
116:10	I have believed, for I speak, I -- I have been afflicted greatly.
116:11	I said in my haste, `Every man `is' a liar.'
116:12	What do I return to Jehovah? All His benefits `are' upon me.
116:13	The cup of salvation I lift up, And in the name of Jehovah I call.
116:14	My vows to Jehovah let me complete, I pray you, before all His people.
116:15	Precious in the eyes of Jehovah `is' the death for His saints.
116:16	Cause `it' to come, O Jehovah, for I `am' Thy servant. I `am' Thy servant, son of Thy handmaid, Thou hast opened my bonds.
116:17	To Thee I sacrifice a sacrifice of thanks, And in the name of Jehovah I call.
116:18	My vows to Jehovah let me complete, I pray you, before all His people,
116:19	In the courts of the house of Jehovah, In thy midst, O Jerusalem, praise ye Jah!
