119:5O that my wayes were directed to keepe thy statutes!
119:6Then shall I not bee ashamed: when I haue respect vnto all thy commandements.
119:7I will praise thee with vprightnesse of heart: when I shall haue learned thy righteous iudgements.

119:13With my lips haue I declared all the iudgements of thy mouth.
119:14I haue reioyced in the way of thy testimonies: as much as in all riches.
119:15I will meditate in thy precepts: and haue respect vnto thy wayes.
119:16I will delight my selfe in thy statutes: I will not forget thy word.
119:17[GIMEL.] Deale bountifully with thy seruant; that I may liue, and keepe thy word.

119:24Thy testimonies also are my delight: and my counsellers.
119:25[DALETH.] My soule cleaueth vnto the dust: quicken thou mee according to thy word.
119:26I haue declared my wayes, and thou heardest me: teach me thy Statutes.

119:28My soule melteth for heauines: strengthen thou me according vnto thy word.
119:29Remoue from mee the way of lying: and grant me thy Law graciously.
119:30I haue chosen the way of trueth: thy iudgements haue I laid before me.
119:31I haue stucke vnto thy Testimonies: O Lord put me not to shame.
119:32I will runne the way of thy Commandements: when thou shalt enlarge my heart.
119:33[HE.] Teach me, O Lord, the way of thy Statutes: and I shall keepe it vnto the end.

119:39Turne away my reproch which I feare: for thy iudgements are good.
119:40Behold, I haue longed after thy precepts: quicken me in thy righteousnesse.
119:41[VAV.] Let thy mercies come also vnto me, O Lord: euen thy saluation, according to thy word.
119:42So shall I haue wherewith to answere him that reprocheth me: for I trust in thy word.
119:43And take not the word of trueth vtterly out of my mouth: for I haue hoped in thy iudgements.
119:44So shall I keepe thy Law continually: for euer and euer.
119:45And I wil walke at libertie: for I seeke thy precepts.
119:46I will speake of thy testimonies also before kings, & wil not be ashamed.
119:47And I will delight my selfe in thy commandements, which I haue loued.
119:48My hands also will I lift vp vnto thy commandements, which I haue loued: and I will meditate in thy statutes.
119:49[ZAIN.] Remember the word vnto thy seruant: vpon which thou hast caused me to hope.
119:50This is my comfort in my affliction: for thy word hath quickened me.
119:51The proud haue had mee greatly in derision: yet haue I not declined from thy Law.
119:52I remembred thy iudgements of old, O Lord: and haue comforted my selfe.
119:53Horrour hath taken holde vpon me, because of the wicked that forsake thy Law.
119:54Thy statutes haue bin my songs in the house of my pilgrimage.
119:55I haue remembred thy name, O Lord, in the night, and haue kept thy Law.
119:56This I had: because I kept thy precepts.
119:57[CHETH.] Thou art my portion, O Lord, I haue said, that I would keepe thy words.
119:58I intreated thy fauour with my whole heart: be mercifull vnto mee according to thy word.

119:60I made haste; and delayed not to keepe thy commandements.
119:61The bands of the wicked haue robbed me: but I haue not forgotten thy lawe.
119:62At mid-night I will rise to giue thankes vnto thee: because of thy righteous iudgements.
119:63I am a companion of all them that feare thee: and of them that keepe thy precepts.
119:64The earth, O Lord, is full of thy mercy: teach me thy statutes.
119:65[TETH.] Thou hast dealt well with thy seruant, Oh Lord, according vnto thy word.
119:66Teach me good iudgement and knowledge: for I haue beleeued thy commandements.
119:67Before I was afflicted, I went astray: but now haue I kept thy word.
119:68Thou art good, and doest good; teach me thy statutes.
119:69The proud haue forged a lie against me: but I will keepe thy precepts with my whole heart.

119:73[IOD.] Thy hands haue made me and fashioned me: giue me vnderstanding, that I may learne thy commandements.
119:74They that feare thee will bee glad when they see mee: because I haue hoped in thy word.
119:75I knowe, O Lord, that thy iudgements are right: and that thou in faithfulnesse hast afflicted me.
119:76Let, I pray thee, thy mercifull kindnesse be for my comfort; according to thy word vnto thy seruant.
119:77Let thy tender mercies come vnto me, that I may liue: for thy lawe is my delight.
119:78Let the proud be ashamed, for they dealt peruersly with me without a cause: but I will meditate in thy precepts.
119:79Let those that feare thee turne vnto me: and those that haue knowen thy testimonies.
119:80Let my heart be sound in thy statutes; that I be not ashamed.
119:81[CAPH.] My soule fainteth for thy saluation: but I hope in thy word.
119:82Mine eyes faile for thy word: saying, When wilt thou comfort me?
119:83For I am become like a bottle in the smoke: yet doe I not forget thy statutes.
119:84How many are the dayes of thy seruant? when wilt thou execute iudgement on them that persecute me?
119:85The proud haue digged pittes for me: which are not after thy law.
119:86All thy commaundements are faithfull: they persecute me wrongfully; helpe thou me.
119:87They had almost consumed mee vpon earth: but I forsooke not thy precepts.
119:88Quicken mee after thy louing kindnesse: so shall I keepe the testimonie of thy mouth.
119:89[LAMED.] Foreuer, O Lord, thy word is setled, in heauen.
119:90Thy faithfulnesse is vnto all generations: thou hast established the earth, and it abideth.
119:91They continue this day according to thine ordinances: for all are thy seruants.
119:92Unlesse thy lawe had bene my delights: I should then haue perished in mine affliction.
119:93I will neuer forget thy precepts: for with them thou hast quickened me.
119:94I am thine, saue me: for I haue sought thy precepts.
119:95The wicked haue waited for me to destroy me: but I will consider thy testimonies.
119:96I haue seene an end of all perfection: but thy commandement is exceeding broad.
119:97[MEM.] O How loue I thy Law! it is my meditation all the day.
119:98Thou through thy Commandements hast made me wiser then mine enemies: for they are euer with mee.
119:99I haue more vnderstanding then all my teachers: for thy Testimonies are my meditation.
119:100I vnderstand more then the ancients: because I keepe thy precepts.
119:101I haue refrained my feete from euery euill way: that I may keepe thy word.
119:102I haue not departed from thy Iudgements: for thou hast taught me.
119:103How sweet are thy words vnto my taste! yea, sweeter then hony to my mouth.
119:104Through thy precepts I get vnderstanding: therefore I hate euery false way.
119:105[NVN.] Thy word is a lampe vnto my feete: and a light vnto my path.
119:106I haue sworne, and I will performe it: that I will keepe thy righteous iudgements.
119:107I am afflicted very much: quicken mee, O Lord, according vnto thy word.
119:108Accept, I beseech thee, the freewil offrings of my mouth, O Lord: and teach me thy iudgements.
119:109My soule is continually in my hand: yet doe I not forget thy Law.
119:110The wicked haue layde a snare for mee: yet I erred not from thy precepts.
119:111Thy Testimonies haue I taken as an heritage for euer: for they are the reioycing of my heart.
119:112I haue inclined mine heart to performe thy Statutes, alway, euen vnto the end.
119:113[SAMECH.] I hate vaine thoughts: but thy Law doe I loue.
119:114Thou art my hiding place, and my shield: I hope in thy word.
119:115Depart from me, ye euil doers: for I will keepe the Commandements of my God.
119:116Uphold mee according vnto thy word, that I may liue: and let mee not be ashamed of my hope.
119:117Hold thou me vp, and I shall be safe: and I will haue respect vnto thy Statutes continually.
119:118Thou hast troden downe all them that erre from thy Statutes: for their deceit is falshood.
119:119Thou puttest away all the wicked of the earth like drosse: therefore I loue thy Testimonies.
119:120My flesh trembleth for feare of thee: and I am afraide of thy Iudgements.
119:121[AIN.] I Haue done Iudgement and iustice: leaue mee not to mine oppressours.
119:122Bee suretie for thy seruant for good: let not the proud oppresse me.
119:123Mine eyes faile for thy saluation: and for the word of thy righteousnesse.
119:124Deale with thy seruant according vnto thy mercie: and teach me thy Statutes.
119:125I am thy seruant, giue me vnderstanding: that I may know thy Testimonies.
119:126It is time for thee, Lord, to worke: for they haue made voyde thy Law.
119:127Therefore I loue thy Commandements: aboue gold, yea aboue fine gold.
119:128Therefore I esteeme all thy precepts concerning all things to be right: and I hate euery false way.
119:129[PE.] Thy Testimonies are wonderfull: therefore doeth my soule keepe them.
119:130The entrance of thy wordes giueth light: it giueth vnderstanding vnto the simple.
119:131I opened my mouth, and panted: for I longed for thy Commandements.
119:132Looke thou vpon mee, and be mercifull vnto me: as thou vsest to do vnto those that loue thy Name.
119:133Order my steps in thy word: and let not any iniquitie haue dominion ouer me.
119:134Deliuer me from the oppression of man: so will I keepe thy precepts.
119:135Make thy face to shine vpon thy seruant: and teach me thy Statutes.
119:136Riuers of waters runne downe mine eyes: because they keepe not thy Law.
119:137[TSADDI.] Righteous art thou, O Lord: and vpright are thy iudgements.
119:138Thy testimonies that thou hast commaunded, are righteous: and very faithfull.
119:139My zeale hath consumed me: because mine enemies haue forgotten thy words.
119:140Thy word is very pure: therefore thy seruant loueth it.
119:141I am small and despised: yet doe not I forget thy precepts.
119:142Thy righteousnesse is an euerlasting righteousnesse: and thy law is the trueth.
119:143Trouble and anguish haue taken hold on me: yet thy commaundements are my delights.
119:144The righteousnesse of thy Testimonies is euerlasting: giue me vnderstanding, and I shall liue.
119:145[KOPH.] I Cried with my whole heart: heare me, O Lord, I will keepe thy statutes.
119:146I cried vnto thee, saue me: and I shall keepe thy testimonies.
119:147I preuented the dawning of the morning, and cried: I hoped in thy word.
119:148Mine eyes preuent the night watches: that I might meditate in thy word.
119:149Heare my voice according vnto thy louing kindnesse: O Lord quicken me according to thy iudgement.
119:150They draw nigh that follow after mischiefe: they are farre from thy Law.
119:151Thou art neere, O Lord: and all thy commandements are trueth.
119:152Concerning thy testimonies, I haue knowen of old: that thou hast founded them for euer.
119:153[RESH.] Consider mine affliction, and deliuer me: for I doe not forget thy Law.
119:154Plead my cause, and deliuer me: quicken me according to thy word.
119:155Saluation is farre from the wicked: for they seeke not thy statutes.
119:156Great are thy tender mercies, O Lord: quicken me according to thy iudgements.
119:157Many are my persecutors, and mine enemies: yet doe I not decline from thy testimonies.
119:158I beheld the transgressours, and was grieued: because they kept not thy word.
119:159Consider how I loue thy precepts: quicken me, O Lord, according to thy louing kindnesse.
119:160Thy word is true from the beginning: and euery one of thy righteous iudgements endureth for euer.
119:161[SCHIN.] Princes haue persecuted mee without a cause: but my heart standeth in awe of thy word.
119:162I reioyce at thy word: as one that findeth great spoile.
119:163I hate and abhorre lying: but thy Law doe I loue.
119:164Seuen times a day doe I praise thee: because of thy righteous iudgements.
119:165Great peace haue they which loue thy law: & nothing shall offend them.
119:166Lord, I haue hoped for thy saluation: and done thy commandements.
119:167My soule hath kept thy testimonies: and I loue them exceedingly.
119:168I haue kept thy precepts and thy testimonies: for all my wayes are before thee.
119:169[TAV.] Let my crie come neere before thee, O Lord: giue mee vnderstanding according to thy worde.
119:170Let my supplication come before thee: deliuer me according to thy word.
119:171My lips shall vtter praise: when thou hast taught me thy Statutes.
119:172My tongue shall speake of thy word: for all thy commandements are righteousnesse.
119:173Let thine hand helpe me: for I haue chosen thy precepts.
119:174I haue longed for thy saluation, O Lord: and thy Lawe is my delight.
119:175Let my soule liue, and it shall praise thee: and let thy iudgments helpe me.
119:176I haue gone astray like a lost sheepe, seeke thy seruant: for I doe not forget thy commandements.

119:7I will praise thee with an vpright heart, when I shall learne the iudgements of thy righteousnesse.
119:8I will keepe thy statutes: forsake mee not ouerlong.
119:9BET Wherewith shall a yong man redresse his waie? in taking heede thereto according to thy woorde.
119:10With my whole heart haue I sought thee: let me not wander from thy commandements.
119:11I haue hid thy promise in mine heart, that I might not sinne against thee.
119:12Blessed art thou, O Lord: teache mee thy statutes.
119:13With my lippes haue I declared all the iudgements of thy mouth.
119:14I haue had as great delight in the way of thy testimonies, as in all riches.
119:15I will meditate in thy precepts, and consider thy waies.
119:16I will delite in thy statutes, and I will not forget thy worde.
119:17GIMEL. Be beneficiall vnto thy seruant, that I may liue and keepe thy woorde.
119:18Open mine eies, that I may see the wonders of thy Lawe.
119:19I am a stranger vpon earth: hide not thy commandements from me.
119:20Mine heart breaketh for the desire to thy iudgements alway.
119:21Thou hast destroied the proud: cursed are they that doe erre from thy commandements.
119:22Remoue from mee shame and contempt: for I haue kept thy testimonies.
119:23Princes also did sit, and speake against me: but thy seruant did meditate in thy statutes.
119:24Also thy testimonies are my delite, and my counsellers.
119:25DALET My soule cleaueth to the dust: quicken me according to thy worde.
119:26I haue declared my waies, and thou heardest me: teache me thy statutes.

119:30I haue chosen the way of trueth, and thy iudgements haue I laied before me.
119:31I haue cleaued to thy testimonies, O Lord: confound me not.
119:32I will runne the way of thy commandements, when thou shalt enlarge mine heart.
119:33HE. Teach mee, O Lord, the way of thy statutes, and I will keepe it vnto the ende.
119:34Giue mee vnderstanding, and I will keepe thy Law: yea, I wil keepe it with my whole heart.
119:35Direct mee in the path of thy commandements: for therein is my delite.
119:36Incline mine heart vnto thy testimonies, and not to couetousnesse.
119:37Turne away mine eies from regarding vanitie, and quicken me in thy way.
119:38Stablish thy promise to thy seruaunt, because he feareth thee.
119:39Take away my rebuke that I feare: for thy iudgements are good.
119:40Beholde, I desire thy commandements: quicken me in thy righteousnesse,
119:41VAV. And let thy louing kindnesse come vnto me, O Lord, and thy saluation according to thy promise.
119:42So shall I make answere vnto my blasphemers: for I trust in thy woorde.
119:43And take not the woorde of trueth vtterly out of my mouth: for I waite for thy iudgements.
119:44So shall I alway keepe thy Lawe for euer and euer.
119:45And I will walke at libertie: for I seeke thy precepts.
119:46I will speake also of thy testimonies before Kings, and will not be ashamed.
119:47And my delite shalbe in thy commandements, which I haue loued.
119:48Mine handes also will I lift vp vnto thy commandements, which I haue loued, and I will meditate in thy statutes.
119:49ZAIN. Remember the promise made to thy seruant, wherein thou hast caused me to trust.
119:50It is my comfort in my trouble: for thy promise hath quickened me.
119:51The proude haue had me exceedingly in derision: yet haue I not declined from thy Lawe.
119:52I remembred thy iudgements of olde, O Lord, and haue bene comforted.
119:53Feare is come vpon mee for the wicked, that forsake thy Lawe.
119:54Thy statutes haue beene my songes in the house of my pilgrimage.
119:55I haue remembred thy Name, O Lord, in the night, and haue kept thy Lawe.
119:56This I had because I kept thy precepts.
119:57CHET O Lord, that art my portion, I haue determined to keepe thy wordes.
119:58I made my supplication in thy presence with my whole heart: be mercifull vnto me according to thy promise.
119:59I haue considered my waies, and turned my feete into thy testimonies.
119:60I made haste and delaied not to keepe thy commandements.
119:61The bandes of the wicked haue robbed me: but I haue not forgotten thy Lawe.
119:62At midnight will I rise to giue thanks vnto thee, because of thy righteous iudgements.
119:63I am companion of all them that feare thee, and keepe thy precepts.
119:64The earth, O Lord, is full of thy mercie: teache me thy statutes.
119:65TET O Lord, thou hast delt graciously with thy seruant according vnto thy woorde.
119:66Teach me good iudgement and knowledge: for I haue beleeued thy commandements.
119:67Before I was afflicted, I went astray: but nowe I keepe thy woorde.
119:68Thou art good and gracious: teach me thy statutes.
119:69The proud haue imagined a lie against me: but I wil keepe thy precepts with my whole heart.
119:70Their heart is fatte as grease: but my delite is in thy Lawe.
119:71It is good for me that I haue beene afflicted, that I may learne thy statutes.
119:72The Lawe of thy mouth is better vnto me, then thousands of golde and siluer.
119:73IOD. Thine hands haue made me and fashioned me: giue mee vnderstanding therefore, that I may learne thy commandements.
119:74So they that feare thee, seeing mee shall reioyce, because I haue trusted in thy worde.
119:75I knowe, O Lord, that thy iudgements are right, and that thou hast afflicted me iustly.
119:76I pray thee that thy mercie may comfort me according to thy promise vnto thy seruant.
119:77Let thy tender mercies come vnto me, that I may liue: for thy Lawe is my delite.
119:78Let the proude be ashamed: for they haue dealt wickedly and falsely with me: but I meditate in thy precepts.
119:79Let such as feare thee turne vnto me, and they that knowe thy testimonies.
119:80Let mine heart bee vpright in thy statutes, that I be not ashamed.
119:81CAP My soule fainteth for thy saluation: yet I waite for thy worde.
119:82Mine eyes faile for thy promise, saying, when wilt thou comfort me?
119:83For I am like a bottell in the smoke: yet doe I not forget thy statutes.
119:84Howe many are the dayes of thy seruant? When wilt thou execute iudgement on them that persecute me?
119:85The proude haue digged pittes for mee, which is not after thy Lawe.
119:86All thy commandements are true: they persecute me falsely: helpe me.
119:87They had almost consumed me vpon the earth: but I forsooke not thy precepts.
119:88Quicken me according to thy louing kindnes: so shall I keepe the testimony of thy mouth.
119:89LAMED. O Lord, thy worde endureth for euer in heauen.
119:90Thy trueth is from generation to generation: thou hast layed the foundation of the earth, and it abideth.
119:91They continue euen to this day by thine ordinances: for all are thy seruants.
119:92Except thy Lawe had bene my delite, I should now haue perished in mine affliction.
119:93I wil neuer forget thy precepts: for by them thou hast quickened me.
119:94I am thine, saue me: for I haue sought thy precepts.
119:95The wicked haue waited for me to destroy me: but I will consider thy testimonies.
119:96I haue seene an ende of all perfection: but thy commandement is exceeding large.
119:97MEM. Oh howe loue I thy Lawe! it is my meditation continually.
119:98By thy commandements thou hast made mee wiser then mine enemies: for they are euer with mee.
119:99I haue had more vnderstading then all my teachers: for thy testimonies are my meditation.
119:100I vnderstoode more then the ancient, because I kept thy precepts.
119:101I haue refrained my feete from euery euil way, that I might keepe thy word.
119:102I haue not declined from thy iudgements: for thou didest teach me.
119:103Howe sweete are thy promises vnto my mouth! yea, more then hony vnto my mouth.
119:104By thy precepts I haue gotten vnderstanding: therefore I hate all the wayes of falshoode.
119:105NUN. Thy worde is a lanterne vnto my feete, and a light vnto my path.
119:106I haue sworne and will performe it, that I will keepe thy righteous iudgements.
119:107I am very sore afflicted: O Lord, quicken me according to thy word.
119:108O Lord, I beseeche thee accept the free offerings of my mouth, and teach mee thy iudgements.
119:109My soule is continually in mine hande: yet doe I not forget thy Lawe.
119:110The wicked haue layed a snare for mee: but I swarued not from thy precepts.
119:111Thy testimonies haue I taken as an heritage for euer: for they are the ioy of mine heart.
119:112I haue applied mine heart to fulfill thy statutes alway, euen vnto the ende.
119:113SAMEC I hate vaine inuentions: but thy Lawe doe I loue.
119:114Thou art my refuge and shield, and I trust in thy worde.
119:115Away from mee, yee wicked: for I will keepe the commandements of my God.
119:116Stablish me according to thy promise, that I may liue, and disappoint me not of mine hope.
119:117Stay thou mee, and I shall be safe, and I will delite continually in thy statutes.
119:118Thou hast troden downe all them that depart from thy statutes: for their deceit is vaine.
119:119Thou hast taken away all ye wicked of the earth like drosse: therefore I loue thy testimonies.
119:120My flesh trembleth for feare of thee, and I am afraide of thy iudgements.
119:121AIN. I haue executed iudgement and iustice: leaue me not to mine oppressours.
119:122Answere for thy seruant in that, which is good, and let not the proude oppresse me.
119:123Mine eyes haue failed in waiting for thy saluation, and for thy iust promise.

119:128Therefore I esteeme all thy precepts most iust, and hate all false wayes.
119:129PE. Thy testimonies are wonderfull: therefore doeth my soule keepe them.
119:130The entrance into thy wordes sheweth light, and giueth vnderstanding to the simple.
119:131I opened my mouth and panted, because I loued thy commandements.
119:132Looke vpon mee and bee mercifull vnto me, as thou vsest to doe vnto those that loue thy Name.
119:133Direct my steppes in thy worde, and let none iniquitie haue dominion ouer me.
119:134Deliuer mee from the oppression of men, and I will keepe thy precepts.
119:135Shew the light of thy countenance vpon thy seruant, and teache me thy statutes.
119:136Mine eyes gush out with riuers of water, because they keepe not thy Lawe.
119:137TSADDI. Righteous art thou, O Lord, and iust are thy iudgements.

119:148Mine eyes preuent the night watches to meditate in thy word.
119:149Heare my voyce according to thy louing kindenesse: O Lord, quicken me according to thy iudgement.
119:150They drawe neere, that follow after malice, and are farre from thy Lawe.

119:152I haue knowen long since by thy testimonies, that thou hast established them for euer.
119:153RES Beholde mine affliction, and deliuer mee: for I haue not forgotten thy Lawe.
