136:1O geue thankes vnto the Lorde, for he is gracyous, and hys mercy endureth for euer.
136:2O geue thankes vnto the God of all goddes, for hys mercy endureth for euer.
136:3O thanke the Lord of all Lordes, for hys mercy endureth for euer.
136:4Whych only doth greate wonders, for his mercy endureth for euer.
136:5Which by his excellentt wysdome made the heauens, for hys mercy endureth for euer.
136:6Whych layed out the earth aboue the waters, for hys mercy endureth for euer.
136:7Whych hath made greate lyghtes, for hys mercy endureth for euer.
136:8The sunne to rule the daye, for hys mercy endureth for euer.
136:9The Moone and the starres to gouerne the nyght, for his mercy endureth for euer.
136:10Whych smote Egypt wyth theyr fyrst borne, for hys mercy endureth for euer.
136:11And brought out Israel from amonge them, for hys mercy endureth for euer.
136:12Wyth a myghtye hande and stretched out arme, for hys mercy endureth for euer.
136:13Whych deuyded the reed see into partes, for hys mercy endureth for euer.
136:14And made Israel to go thorowe the myddest of it, for hys mercy endureth for euer.
136:15But as for Pharao and hys hoost, he ouerthrewe them in the reed see, for hys mercy endureth for euer.
136:16Which led his people thorowe the wildernesse, for hys mercy endureth for euer.
136:17Which smote great kinges: for his mercy endureth for euer.
136:18Yee, & slue myghtye kynges: for his mercy endureth for euer.
136:19Sehon kynge of the Amorites: for hys mercy endureth for euer.
136:20And Og the kyng of Basan: for hys mercy endureth for euer.
136:21And gaue awaye theyr lande for an heritage: for his mercy endureth for euer.
136:22Euen for an heritage vnto Israel hys seruaunt: for hys mercy endureth for euer.
136:23Which remembred vs, when we were in trouble: for his mercy endureth for euer.
136:24And hath delyuered vs from oure enemyes: for his mercy endureth for euer.
136:25Whych geueth fode vnto all flesshe: for hys mercy endureth for euer.
136:26O geue thanckes vnto the God of heauen, for hys mercy endureth for euer.

 

136:1The hundrid and sixe and thrittithe salm. On the floodis of Babiloyne there we saten, and wepten; while we bithouyten on Syon.
136:2In salewis in the myddil therof; we hangiden vp oure orguns.
136:3For thei that ledden vs prisoners; axiden vs there the wordis of songis. And thei that ledden awei vs seiden; Synge ye to vs an ympne of the songis of Syon.
136:4Hou schulen we singe a songe of the Lord; in an alien lond?
136:5If Y foryete thee, Jerusalem; my riyt hond be youun to foryeting.
136:6Mi tunge cleue to my chekis; if Y bithenke not on thee. If Y purposide not of thee, Jerusalem; in the bigynnyng of my gladnesse.
136:7Lord, haue thou mynde on the sones of Edom; for the dai of Jerusalem. Whiche seien, Anyntische ye, anyntische ye; `til to the foundement ther ynne.
136:8Thou wretchid douyter of Babiloyne; he is blessid, that `schal yelde to thee thi yelding, which thou yeldidist to vs.
136:9He is blessid, that schal holde; and hurtle doun hise litle children at a stoon.

136:22Euen for an heretage vnto Israel his seruaunt, for his mercy endureth for euer.
136:23Which remebreth vs, whe we are in trouble, for his mercy endureth for euer.
136:24Which geueth foode vnto all flesh, for his mercy endureth for euer.
