148:1Haleluiah. Prayse the euerlastynge. O prayse the Lorde of heauen, prayse hym in the heygth.
148:2Prayse him all ye angels of hys, prayse hym all hys hoost.
148:3Prayse hym Sunne and Moone, prayse hym all ye starres and lyght.
148:4Prayse hym all ye heauens, & ye waters that be aboue the heauens.
148:5Let them prayse the name of the Lorde, for he commaunded, and they were created.
148:6He hath made them fast for euer and euer, he hath geuen them a lawe, whych shall not be broken.
148:7Prayse the Lorde vpon earth, ye dragons, and all depes.
148:8Fyre an hayle, snowe and vapors, wynde and storme, fulfyllyng hys worde.
148:9Mountaynes & all hylles, frutefull trees and all Cedres.
148:10Beastes and all catell, wormes and federed foules.
148:11Kynges of the earth and all people, Princes and all iudges of the worlde.
148:12Yonge men and maydens, olde men and chyldren:
148:13prayse the name of the Lorde, for his name only is excellent, & hys prayse aboue heauen and earth.
148:14He shall exalte the horne of hys people, all hys saynctes shall prayse hym, euen the chyldren of Israel, euen the people that serueth hym. Haleluiah.

 

148:1The `title of the hundrid and eiyte and fourtithe salm. Alleluya. Ye of heuenes, herie the Lord; herie ye hym in hiye thingis.
148:2Alle hise aungels, herie ye hym; alle hise vertues, herye ye hym.
148:3Sunne and moone, herie ye hym; alle sterris and liyt, herie ye hym.
148:4Heuenes of heuenes, herie ye hym; and the watris that ben aboue heuenes,
148:5herie ye the name of the Lord.
148:6For he seide, and thingis weren maad; he comaundide, and thingis weren maad of nouyt. He ordeynede tho thingis in to the world, and in to the world of world; he settide a comaundement, and it schal not passe.
148:7Ye of erthe, herie ye the Lord; dragouns, and alle depthis of watris.
148:8Fier, hail, snow, iys, spiritis of tempestis; that don his word.
148:9Mounteyns, and alle litle hillis; trees berynge fruyt, and alle cedris.
148:10Wielde beestis, and alle tame beestis; serpentis, and fetherid briddis.
148:11The kingis of erthe, and alle puplis; the princis, and alle iugis of erthe.
148:12Yonge men, and virgyns, elde men with yongere, herie ye the name of the Lord;
148:13for the name of hym aloone is enhaunsid.
148:14His knouleching be on heuene and erthe; and he hath enhaunsid the horn of his puple. An ympne be to alle hise seyntis; to the children of Israel, to a puple neiyynge to hym.

148:4Prayse him all ye heauens, & ye waters yt be vnder the heauens.
148:5Let them prayse the name of the LORDE, for he comaunded, & they were made.
148:6He hath made the fast for euer and euer, he hath geue them a lawe which shal not be broke.
148:7Prayse the LORDE vpon earth, ye whalfishes and all depes.
148:8Fyre and hayle, snowe & vapors wynde and storme, fulfillynge his worde.
148:9Mountaynes and all hilles, frutefull trees & all Ceders.
148:10Beastes and all catell, wormes & fethered foules.
148:11Kynges of the earth & all people, princes & all iudges of ye worlde.
148:12Yonge men & maydes, olde men and children.
148:13Let them prayse the name of the LORDE, for his name only is excellent, and his prayse aboue heauen and earth.
148:14He exalteth the horne of his people, all his sayntes shal prayse him, the children of Israel, euen the people that serueth him. Halleluya.
