Ezekiel - Chapter: 10

>
10:1And as I loked, beholde, in the firmament that was aboue the Cherubins there appeared the symilitude of a stole of Saphyr vpon them:
10:2Then sayde he that sat therin, to him that had the lynen rayment vpon hym: Crepe in betwene the wheles that are vnder the Cherubyns, and take thyne hande full of hoate coales out from betwene the Cherubyns, and cast them ouer the cytie. And he crepte in, that I myght se.
10:3Now the Cherubyns stode vpon the ryght syde of the house, when the man wente in, & the cloude fylled the inner courte.
10:4But the glory of the Lorde remoued from the Cherubyns, and came vpon the thresholde of the house: so that the temple was full of cloudes, and the courte was full of the shyne of the Lordes glory.
10:5Yee, and the sounde of the Cherubyns wynges was hearde into the fore courte, lyke as it had bene the voyce of the almyghtye God, when he speaketh.
10:6Nowe when he had byden the man that was clothed in lynen, to go and take the hoate coales from the myddest of the wheles, whych were vnder the Cherubyns: he wente & stode besyde the wheles.
10:7Then the one Cherub reached forth hys hande from vnder the Cherubyns, vnto the fyre that was betwene the Cherubyns, and toke therof, and gaue it vnto hym that had on the lynen rayment in his hande: which toke it, & went out.
10:8And vnder the wynges of the Cherubyns, there appeared the lycknesse of a mans hande:
10:9I sawe also foure wheles besyde the Cherubyns, so that by euery cherub there stode a whele. And the wheles were (to loke vpon) after the fashion of the precyous stone of Tharsys:
10:10yet (vnto the syght) they were all .iiij. of one fashyon, as yf one whele had bene in another.
10:11When they wente forth, they wente all foure together, not turnynge aboute in their goinge: But where the fyrst wente, thyther wente they after also, so that they turned not aboute in their goyng.
10:12Their whole bodyes, their backes, theyr handes & wynges, yee, and the wheles also, were all full of eyes rounde aboute them all foure.
10:13And I hearde hym call the wheles.
10:14Euery one of them had foure faces: so that the one face was the face of a Cherub, the seconde of a man, the thyrde of a lyon, the fourth of an Aegle,
10:15& they were lyfted vp aboue. This is the beast, that I sawe at the water of Cobar.
10:16Nowe when the Cherubyns wente, the wheles wente wyth them, and when the Cherubyns shoke theyr wynges to lyft them selues vpwarde, the wheles remayned not behynde, but were wyth them also.
10:17Shortly, when they stode, these stode also. And when they were lyft vp, the wheles were lyft vp also with them, for the sprete of lyfe was in the wheles.
10:18Then the glory of the Lorde was lyft vp from the thresholde of the temple, and remayned vpon the Cherubyns:
10:19And the Cherubyns flackred wyth theyr wynges, and lyfte them selues vp from the earth: so that I sawe when they went, and the wheles wt them. And they stode at the east syde of the porte that is in the house of the Lorde. So the glory of the Lorde was vpon them.
10:20Thys is the beast that I sawe vnder the God of Israel, by the water of Cobar. And I perceaued, that it was the Cherubyns.
10:21Euery one had foure faces, & euery one foure wynges, and vnder theyr wynges, as it were mens handes.
10:22Nowe the fygure of theyr faces was, euen as I had sene them, by the water of Cobar, and so was the countenaunce of them: Euery one in hys goinge wente strayght forwarde.

10:1And Y siy, and lo! in the firmament that was on the heed of cherubyns, as a saphir stoon, and as the fourme of licnesse of a kyngis seete apperide theron.
10:2And he seide to the man that was clothid in lynnun clothis, and spak, Entre thou in the myddis of wheelis, that ben vndur cherubyns, and fille thin hond with coolis of fier, that ben bitwixe cherubyns, and schede thou out on the citee.
10:3And he entride in my siyt; forsothe cherubyns stoden at the riyt side of the hous, whanne the man entride, and a clowde fillide the ynnere halle.
10:4And the glorie of the Lord was reisid fro aboue cherubyns to the threisfold of the hous; and the hous was fillid with a cloude, and the halle was fillid with schynyng of the glorie of the Lord.
10:5And the sown of wyngis of cherubyns was herd til to the outermere halle, as the vois of almyyti God spekynge.
10:6And whanne he hadde comaundid to the man that was clothid in lynnun clothis, and hadde seid, Take thou fier fro the myddis of the wheelis, that ben bitwixe cherubyns, he entride, and stood bisidis the wheel.
10:7And cherub stretchide forth his hond fro the myddis of cherubyns, to the fier that was bitwixe cherubyns; and took, and yaf in to the hondis of hym that was clothid in lynnun clothis; and he took, and yede out.
10:8And the licnesse of the hond of a man apperide in cherubyns, vndur the wyngis of tho.
10:9And Y siy, and lo! foure wheelis weren bisidis cherubyns; o wheel bisidis o cherub, and another wheel bisidis another cherub; forsothe the licnesse of wheelis was as the siyt of the stoon crisolitis.
10:10And the biholdyng of tho was o licnesse of foure, as if a wheel be in the myddis of a wheel.
10:11And whanne tho yeden, tho yeden in to foure partis; tho turneden not ayen goynge, but to the place to which that that was the firste wheel bowide to go, also othere suyden, and turneden not ayen.
10:12And al the bodi of tho wheelis, and the neckis, and hondis, and wyngis of the beestis, and the cerclis, weren ful of iyen, in the cumpas of foure wheelis.
10:13And he clepide tho wheelis volible, ether able to go al aboute, in myn heryng.
10:14Forsothe o beeste hadde foure faces; o face was the face of cherub, and the secounde face the face of a man, and in the thridde was the face of a lioun, and in the fourthe was the face of an egle;
10:15and the cherubyns weren reisid. Thilke is the beeste, which Y hadde seyn bisidis the flood Chobar.
10:16And whanne cherubyns yeden, also the wheelis bisidis tho yeden to gidere; whanne cherubyns reisiden her wyngis, that tho schulden be enhaunsid fro the erthe, the wheelis abididen not stille, but also tho weren bisidis cherubyns.
10:17The wheelis stooden with tho cherubyns stondynge, and weren reisid with the cherubyns reisid; for the spirit of lijf was in tho wheelis.
10:18And the glorie of the Lord yede out fro the threisfold of the temple, and stood on the cherubyns.
10:19And cherubyns reisiden her wyngis, and weren enhaunsid fro the erthe bifore me; and whanne tho yeden out, also the wheelis sueden; and it stood in the entryng of the eest yate of the hous of the Lord, and the glorie of God of Israel was on tho.
10:20Thilke is the beeste, which Y siy vndur God of Israel, bisidis the flood Chobar. And Y vndurstood that foure cherubyns weren;
10:21foure faces weren to oon, and foure wyngys weren to oon; and the licnesse of the hond of a man was vndur the wyngis of tho.
10:22And the licnesse of the cheris of tho weren thilke cheeris whiche Y hadde seyn bisidis the flood Chobar; and the biholdyng of tho, and the fersnesse of ech, was to entre bifor his face.

10:1And as I loked, beholde, In the firmament that was aboue the Cherubins there apeared the similitude of a stole of Saphir vpo them:
10:2Then sayde he that sat therin, to him that had the lynnynge rayment vpon him: Crepe in betwene the wheles that are vnder the Cherubins, and take thine honde full of hote coales out from betwene the Cherubins, and cast them ouer the cite. And he crepte in, that I might se.
10:3Now the Cherubins stode vpo the right syde of the house, when the man wete in, and the cloude fylled the ynnermer courte.
10:4But the glory of the LORDE remoued from the Cherubins, and came vpon the thresholde of the house: so that the Temple was full of cloudes, and the courte was full of the shyne of the LORDES glory.
10:5Yee and the sounde of the Cherubins wynges was herde in to the forecourte, like as it had bene the voyce of the almightie God, when he speaketh.
10:6Now when he had bydden the man yt was clothed in lynnynge, to go and take the hote coales from the myddest of ye wheles, which were vnder the Cherubins: he wente and stode besyde the wheles.
10:7Then the one Cherub reached forth this honde from vnder the Cherubins, vnto ye fyre that was betwene the Cherubins, and toke therof, and gaue it vnto him (that had on the lynnynge rayment) in his honde: which toke it, and wente out.
10:8And vnder the wynges of ye Cherubins, there apeared the licknes of a mas hode:
10:9I sawe also foure wheles besyde the Cherubins, so that by euery Cherub there stode a whele. And the wheles were (to loke vpon) after ye fashion of ye precious stone of Tharsis:
10:10Yet (vnto the sight) were they fashioned & like, as yf one whele had bene in another.
10:11When they wente forth, they wete all iiij together, not turnynge aboute in their goinge: But where the first wente, thither wente they after also, so that they turned not aboute in their goinge.
10:12Their whole bodies, their backes, their hodes & wynges, yee & the wheles also, were all full of eyes rounde aboute them all foure.
10:13And I herde him call ye wheles, Galgal (that is) a rounde boull.
10:14Euery one of them had foure faces: so that the one face was the face of a Cherub, the seconde of a man, the thirde of a lyon, the fourth of an Aegle,
10:15& they were lifted vp aboue. This is the beest, that I sawe at the water of Cobar.
10:16Now when the Cherubins wente, the wheles wente with them: & when the Cherubins shoke their wynges to lift them selues vpwarde, the wheles remayned not behynde, but were with them also.
10:17Shortly, when they stode, these stode also: And when they were lift vp, ye wheles were lift vp also with the, for the sprete of life was in the wheles.
10:18Then the glory of the LORDE was lift vp from the thresholde of the temple, and remayned vpon the Cherubins:
10:19And the Cherubins flackred with their wynges, and lift the selues vp from the earth: so that I sawe when they went, and the wheles with them. And they stode at the east syde of the porte that is in the house of the LORDE. So the glory of the LORDE was vpon them.
10:20This is the beest that I sawe vnder the God of Israel, by the water of Cobar. And I perceaued, that it was the Cherubins.
10:21Euery one had foure faces, & euery one foure wynges, & vnder their winges, as it were mes hondes.
10:22Now the figure of their faces was, euen as I had sene them, by the water of Cobar, & so was the countenaunce of the: Euery one in his goinge wente straight forwarde.
