19:7And he knew there desolate palaces, and he laied waste their cities, and the land was desolate, and the fulnesse thereof by the noise of his roaring.
19:8Then the nations set against him on euery side from the prouinces, and spread their net ouer him: he was taken in their pit.
19:9And they put him in ward in chaines, and brought him to the king of Babylon, they brought him into holds, that his voyce should no more be heard vpon the mountaines of Israel.
19:10Thy mother is like a vine in thy blood, planted by the waters, she was fruitfull and full of branches by reason of many waters,
19:11And she had strong rods for the scepters of them that beare rule, and her stature was exalted among the thicke branches, & she appeared in her height with the multitude of her branches.
19:12But she was plucked vp in fury: she was cast downe to the ground, and the East wind dryed vp her fruite: her strong rods were broken and withered, the fire consumed them.
19:13And now she is planted in the wildernesse, in a dry and thirsty ground.
19:14And fire is gone out of a rod of her branches, which hath deuoured her fruite, so that she hath no strong rod to be a scepter to rule: this is a lamentation, and shall be for a lamentation.

19:1Thou also take vp a lamentation for the princes of Israel
19:2And say: wherfore lay thy mother that lionesse among the lions? she norished her young ones among the lions whelpes

19:4The heathen hearde of hym, and caught hym in their snare, and brought hym in hookes vnto the lande of Egypt

19:6Which went among the lions, and became a fearce lion, learned to catche the pray, and to deuour folke
19:7He destroyed their palaces and made their cities waste, insomuch that the whole lande and euery thyng therin were vtterly desolate through the voyce of his roaryng
19:8Then set the heathen together on euery side of the countreis agaynst him, layde their nettes for him, and toke him in their pit
19:9So they put him in prison in chaynes, and brought him to the kyng of Babylon: they put him in holdes, that his voyce shoulde no more be hearde vpon the mountaynes of Israel
19:10As for thy mother, she is like a vine in thy blood, planted by the waters: she brought foorth fruite and braunches by the aboundaunt waters
19:11And she had strong roddes for the scepters of them that beare rule, and her stature was exalted on hye among the braunches, & she appeared in her height with the multitude of her braunches
19:12But she was pluckt vp in wrath, cast out vpon the grounde, the east wynde dryed vp her fruite her braunches were broken of & withered, as for the roddes of her strength, the fire consumed them
19:13And nowe she is planted in the wildernesse, in a dry and thirstie grounde
19:14And there is a fire gone out of the rodde of her brauches, it hath deuoured her fruite, so that she hath no strong rodde for a scepter to rule: This is a lamentation, and shalbe for a lamentation

19:1Thou also, take vp a lamentation for the princes of Israel,
19:2And say, Wherefore lay thy mother as a lyonesse among the lyons? she nourished her yong ones among the lyons whelps,
19:3And she brought vp one of her whelps, and it became a lyon, and it learned to catch the praye, and it deuoured men.
19:4The nations also heard of him, and he was taken in their nets, and they brought him in chaines vnto the land of Egypt.
19:5Nowe when she sawe, that she had waited and her hope was lost, she tooke another of her whelps, and made him a lyon.
19:6Which went among the lyons, and became a lyon, and learned to catch the praye, and he deuoured men.
19:7And he knew their widowes, and he destroyed their cities, and the land was wasted, and all that was therein by the noyse of his roaring.
19:8Then the nations set against him on euery side of the countreys, and laide their nets for him: so he was taken in their pit.
19:9And they put him in prison and in chaines, and brought him to the King of Babel, and they put him in holdes, that his voyce should no more be heard vpon the mountaines of Israel.
19:10Thy mother is like a vine in thy blood, planted by the waters: she brought foorth fruite and branches by the abundant waters,
19:11And she had strong rods for the scepters of them that beare rule, and her stature was exalted among the branches, and she appeared in her height with the multitude of her branches.
19:12But she was plucked vp in wrath: she was cast downe to the ground, and the East winde dried vp her fruite: her branches were broken, and withered: as for the rod of her strength, the fire consumed it.
19:13And now she is planted in the wildernes in a drie and thirstie ground.
19:14And fire is gone out of a rod of her branches, which hath deuoured her fruite, so that she hath no strong rod to be a scepter to rule: this is a lamentation and shalbe for a lamentation.
