| 5:1 | Then I turned, and lift vp mine eyes, and looked, and behold, a flying roule. |
| 5:2 | And hee said vnto mee, What seest thou? and I answered, I see a flying roule, the length thereof is twentie cubites, and the breadth thereof tenne cubites. |
| 5:3 | Then said hee vnto mee; This is the curse, that goeth forth ouer the face of the whole earth: for euery one that stealeth shall be cut off as on this side, according to it; and euery one that sweareth shall be cut off as on that side, according to it. |
| 5:4 | I will bring it forth, saith the Lord of hostes, and it shall enter into the house of the theefe, and into the house of him that sweareth falsely by my name: and it shall remaine in the midst of his house, and shall consume it, with the timber thereof, and the stones thereof. |
| 5:5 | Then the Angell that talked with me, went forth and said vnto me, Lift vp now thine eyes, and see what is this that goeth forth. |
| 5:6 | And I said, What is it? and hee said, This is an Ephah that goeth forth. Hee said moreouer, This is their resemblance through all the earth. |
| 5:7 | And behold, there was lift vp a talent of lead: and this is a woman that sitteth in the midst of the Ephah. |
| 5:8 | And he said, This is wickednesse, and he cast it into the midst of the Ephah, and he cast the weight of lead vpon the mouth thereof. |
| 5:9 | Then lift I vp mine eyes, and looked, & behold, there came out two women, and the winde was in their wings (for they had wings like the wings of a storke) and they lift vp the Ephah betweene the earth and the heauen. |
| 5:10 | Then saide I to the Angel that talked with me, Whither do these beare the Ephah? |
| 5:11 | And he said vnto mee, To build it an house in the land of Shinar, and it shall be established, and set there vpon her owne base. |
| 5:1 | So I turned me liftynge vp myne eyes, & loked, & beholde, a flyenge boke. |
| 5:2 | And he sayde vnto me: what seist thou? I answered: I se a flyenge boke of xx. cubites longe & x. cubites brode. |
| 5:3 | Then sayde he vnto me: This is the curse, yt goeth forth ouer the whole earth: For all theues shalbe iudged after this boke, & all swearers shalbe iudged acordinge to the same. |
| 5:4 | I wil bringe it forth (saieth the LORDE of hoostes) so yt it shal come to the house of the thefe, & to the house of him, that falsely sweareth by my name: & shal remayne in his house, & cosume it, with the tymbre & stones therof. |
| 5:5 | The the angel that talked with me, wente forth, & sayde vnto me: lift vp thine eyes & se, what this is yt goeth forth. |
| 5:6 | And I sayde: what is it? He answered: this is a measure goinge out. He sayde morouer: Euen thus are they (yt dwell vpon the whole earth) to loke vpon. |
| 5:7 | And beholde, there was lift vp a talent of leade: & lo, a woman sat in the myddest of the measure. |
| 5:8 | And he sayde: This is vngodlynesse. So he cast her in to the myddest of the measure, & threwe ye lompe of leade vp in to an hole. |
| 5:9 | Then lift I vp myne eyes, & loked: & beholde, there came out ij. women, & the wynde was in their wynges (for they had wynges like the wynges of a Storke) & they lift vp the measure betwixte the earth & the heauen. |
| 5:10 | Then spake I to the angel, yt talked wt me: whyther wil these beare the measure? |
| 5:11 | And he sayde vnto me: in to the londe of Synear, to buylde them an house: which when it is prepared, the measure shall be set there in his place. |
| 5:1 | And Y was conuertid, and reiside myn iyen, and siy, and lo! a book fleynge. |
| 5:2 | And he seide to me, What seest thou? And Y seide, Lo! Y se a book fleynge; the lengthe therof was of twenti cubitis, and the breede therof of ten cubitis. |
| 5:3 | And he seide to me, This is the curs, that goith on the face of al erthe; for ech theef schal be demed, as it is writun there; and ech man swerynge, schal be demyd of this also. |
| 5:4 | Y schal lede out it, seith the Lord of oostis, and it schal come to the hous of a theef, and to the hous of hym that swerith falsli in my name; and it schal dwelle in myddil of hys hous, and schal waaste hym, and hise trees, and hise stoonys. |
| 5:5 | And the aungel wente out, that spak in me, and seide to me, Reyse thin iyen, and se, what this thing is, that goith out. |
| 5:6 | And Y seide, What is it? And he seide, This is a pot goyng out. And he seide, This is the iye of hem in al erthe. |
| 5:7 | And lo! a talent of leed was borun; and lo! a womman sittynge in myddil of the pot. |
| 5:8 | And he seide, This is vnpite, ether vnfeithfulnesse. And he castide doun hir in myddil of the pot, and sente a gobet of leed in to the mouth therof. |
| 5:9 | And Y reiside myn iyen, and siy, and lo! twei wymmen goynge out, and a spirit in wyngis of hem; and thei hadden wyngis as wyngis of a kite, and reisiden the pot bitwixe heuene and erthe. |
| 5:10 | And Y seide to the aungel that spak in me, Whidur beren these the pot? |
| 5:11 | And he seide to me, That an hous be bildid therto in the lond of Sennaar, and be stablischid, and set there on his foundement. |
