| 8:1 | When he was come downe from the Mountaine, great multitudes folowed him. |
| 8:2 | And behold, there came a leper, and worshipped him, saying, Lord, If thou wilt, thou canst make me cleane. |
| 8:3 | And Iesus put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will, bee thou cleane. And immediately his leprosie was cleansed. |
| 8:4 | And Iesus saith vnto him, See thou tell no man, but go thy way, shew thy selfe to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses commanded, for a testimonie vnto them. |

| 8:8 | The Centurion answered, and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come vnder my roofe: but speake the word onely, and my seruant shalbe healed. |
| 8:9 | For I am a man vnder authority, hauing souldiers vnder me: and I say to this man, Goe, and he goeth: and to another, Come, and he commeth: and to my seruant, Doe this, and he doth it. |
| 8:10 | When Iesus heard it, he marueiled, and said to them that followed, Uerely, I say vnto you, I haue not found so great faith, no not in Israel. |
| 8:11 | And I say vnto you, that many shall come from the East and West, and shal sit downe with Abraham, and Isaac, & Iacob, in the kingdome of heauen: |
| 8:12 | But the children of the kingdome shall be cast out into outer darkenesse: there shalbe weeping and gnashing of teeth. |
| 8:13 | And Iesus said vnto the Centurion, Go thy way, and as thou hast beleeued, so be it done vnto thee. And his seruant was healed in the self same houre. |
| 8:14 | And when Iesus was come into Peters house, hee saw his wiues mother laid, and sicke of a feuer: |
| 8:15 | And he touched her hand, and the feuer left her: and she arose, and ministred vnto them. |
| 8:16 | When the Euen was come, they brought vnto him many that were possessed with deuils: and hee cast out the spirits with his worde, and healed all that were sicke, |
| 8:17 | That it might be fulfilled which which was spoken by Esaias the Prophet, saying, Himselfe tooke our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses. |
| 8:18 | Now when Iesus saw great multitudes about him, hee gaue commaundement to depart vnto the other side. |
| 8:19 | And a certaine Scribe came, and said vnto him, Master, I will follow thee whithersoeuer thou goest. |
| 8:20 | And Iesus saith vnto him, The Foxes haue holes, and the birds of the ayre haue nests: but the sonne of man hath not where to lay his head. |
| 8:21 | And another of his Disciples said vnto him, Lord, suffer me first to goe, and bury my father. |
| 8:22 | But Iesus said vnto him, Follow me, & let the dead, bury their dead. |
| 8:23 | And when he was entred into a ship, his Disciples followed him. |
| 8:24 | And behold, there arose a great tempest in the Sea, insomuch that the ship was couered with the waues: but he was asleepe. |
| 8:25 | And his Disciples came to him, and awoke, saying, Lord, saue vs: we perish. |
| 8:26 | And he saith vnto them, Why are yee fearefull, O yee of litle faith? Then hee arose, and rebuked the winds and the Sea, and there was a great calme. |
| 8:27 | But the men marueiled, saying, What maner of man is this, that euen the winds and the Sea obey him? |
| 8:28 | And when hee was come to the other side, into the countrey of the Gergesenes, there met him two possessed with deuils, comming out of the tombes, exceeding fierce, so that no man might passe by that way. |
| 8:29 | And behold, they cryed out, saying, What haue we to doe with thee, Iesus thou sonne of God? Art thou come hither to torment vs befor ye time? |
| 8:30 | And there was a good way off from them, an heard of many swine, feeding. |
| 8:31 | So the deuils besought him, saying, If thou cast vs out, suffer vs to goe away into the herd of swine. |
| 8:32 | And he said vnto them, Goe. And when they were come out, they went into the herd of swine: and behold, the whole herd of swine ranne violently downe a steepe place into the Sea, and perished in the waters. |
| 8:33 | And they that kept them, fled, and went their waies into the citie, and told euery thing, and what was befallen to the possessed of the deuils. |
| 8:34 | And behold, the whole citie came out to meete Iesus: and when they saw him, they besought him that hee would depart out of their coasts. |

| 8:6 | sayinge: Syr, my seruaunt lyeth sicke at home of the palsye, and ys greuously payned. |
| 8:7 | Iesus sayd vnto hym: I wil come & heale him. |
| 8:8 | The Captayne answered and sayde: Syr, I am nor worthy, that thou shuldest come vnder my rofe, but speake the worde only, and my seruaunt shalbe healed. |
| 8:9 | For I myselfe also am a ma subiect to ye auctorite of another, & haue sowdiers vnder me. Yet wha I saye to one: go, he goeth, and to another: come, he commeth: & to my seruaunt: do this, he doeth it. |
| 8:10 | When Iesus hearde that, he marueled, and sayde to them that folowed hym: Verely I say vnto you: I haue not founde so greate fayth: no not i Israel. |
| 8:11 | But I say vnto you: Many shall come from the east and west, and shall rest with Abraham, Isaac and Iacob in the kyngdome of heauen: |
| 8:12 | and the chyldren of the kyngdome shalbe cast out in to vtter darcknes: there shalbe wepinge & gnasshing of teth. |
| 8:13 | And Iesus sayd vnto ye Captayne: go thy waye, and as thou beleuest, so be it vnto the. And his seruaunt was healed the same houre. |
| 8:14 | And Iesus went in to Peters housse, and sawe hys wyues mother lyinge sicke of a feuer: |
| 8:15 | so he touched her hande, and the feuer left hir: and she arose, and ministred vnto them. |

| 8:20 | And Iesus sayde vnto him: the foxes haue holes, and the byrddes of the ayer hane nestes, but ye sonne of ma hath not wheron to rest his heede. |
| 8:21 | Another that was one of his disciples, sayde vnto hym: Syr, geue me leue fyrst, to go & burye my father. |
| 8:22 | But Iesus sayde vnto him: folowe thou me, and let the deed burie their deed. |
| 8:23 | And he entred in to a shyppe, & his disciples folowed him. |
| 8:24 | And beholde, there arose a greate tempest in the see, in so moch that the shippe was couered with wawes, & he was a slepe. |
| 8:25 | And his disciples came vnto him, and awoke hym, sayinge: LORDE, saue vs, we perishe. |
| 8:26 | And he sayde vnto them: why are ye fearfull, o ye of lytell faithe? Then he arose, and rebuked the wyndes and the see, & there folowed a greate calme. |
| 8:27 | And the men marueyled and sayde: what ma is this, that both wyndes and see obey hym? |
| 8:28 | And when he was come to ye other syde, in to the countre of the Gergesites, there met him two possessed of deuyls, which came out of the graues, and were out of measure fearce, so that no man myght go by that waye. |
| 8:29 | And beholde, they cryed out sayinge: Oh Iesu thou sonne of God, what haue we to do wt the? Art thou come hyther to tormet vs, before the tyme be come? |
| 8:30 | And there was a good waye of from them a greate heerd of swyne fedinge. |
| 8:31 | Then the deuyles besought him, sayinge: yf thou cast vs out, suffre vs to go oure waye in to the heerd of swyne. |
| 8:32 | And he sayde vnto them: go youre wayes. Then went they out, and departed in to the heerd of swyne. And beholde, ye whoale heerd of swyne was caryed with violece headlinge in to the see, and perished in the water. |
| 8:33 | The the heerdmen fled and wente their ways in to the cyte, and tolde euery thinge, & what had fortuned vnto the possessed of the deuyls. |
| 8:34 | And beholde, all the cyte came out and met Iesus. And when they sawe hym, they besought hym, for to departe out of their coostes. |

| 8:6 | and seide, Lord, my childe lijth in the hous sijk on the palesie, and is yuel turmentid. |
| 8:7 | And Jhesus seide to him, Y schal come, and schal heele him. |
| 8:8 | And the centurien answeride, and seide to hym, Lord, Y am not worthi, that thou entre vndur my roof; but oonli seie thou bi word, and my childe shal be heelid. |
| 8:9 | For whi Y am a man ordeyned vndur power, and haue knyytis vndir me; and Y seie to this, Go, and he goith; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my seruaunt, Do this, and he doith it. |
| 8:10 | And Jhesus herde these thingis, and wondride, and seide to men `that sueden him, Treuli Y seie to you, Y foond not so greet feith in Israel. |
| 8:11 | And Y seie to you, that many schulen come fro the eest and the west, and schulen reste with Abraham and Ysaac and Jacob in the kyngdom of heuenes; |
| 8:12 | but the sones of the rewme schulen be cast out in to vtmer derknessis; there schal be wepyng, and grynting of teeth. |
| 8:13 | And Jhesus seide to the centurioun, Go, and as thou hast bileuyd, be it doon to thee. And the child was heelid fro that hour. |
| 8:14 | And whanne Jhesus was comun in to the hous of Symount Petre, he say his wyues modir liggynge, and shakun with feueris. |
| 8:15 | And he touchide hir hoond, and the feuer lefte hir; and she roos, and seruede hem. |
| 8:16 | And whanne it was euen, thei brouyten to hym manye that hadden deuelis, and he castide out spiritis bi word, and heelide alle that weren yuel at ese; |
| 8:17 | that it were fulfillid, that was seid by Ysaie, the profete, seiynge, He took oure infirmytees, and bar oure siknessis. |
| 8:18 | And Jhesus say myche puple aboute him, and bade hise disciplis go ouer the watir. |
| 8:19 | And a scribe neiyede, and seide to hym, Maistir, Y shal sue thee, whidir euer thou schalt go. |
| 8:20 | And Jhesus seide to hym, Foxis han dennes, and briddis of heuene han nestis, but mannus sone hath not where `he schal reste his heed. |
| 8:21 | Anothir of his disciplis seide to him, Lord, suffre me to go first, and birie my fader. |
| 8:22 | But Jhesus seide to hym, Sue thou me, and lete deed men birie her deede men. |
| 8:23 | And whanne he was goon vp in to a litil schip, his disciplis sueden hym. |
| 8:24 | And loo! a greet stiring was maad in the see, so that the schip was hilid with wawes; but he slepte. |
| 8:25 | And hise disciplis camen to hym, and reysiden hym, and seiden, Lord, saue vs; we perischen. |
| 8:26 | And Jhesus seide to hem, What ben ye of litil feith agaste? Thanne he roos, and comaundide to the wyndis and the see, and a greet pesibilnesse was maad. |
| 8:27 | And men wondriden, and seiden, What maner man is he this, for the wyndis and the see obeischen to him? |
| 8:28 | And whanne Jhesus was comun ouer the watir in to the cuntre of men of Gerasa, twey men metten hym, that hadden deuelis, and camen out of graues, ful woode, so that noo man myyte go bi that weie. |
| 8:29 | And lo! thei crieden, and seiden, What to vs and to thee, Jhesu, the sone of God? `art thou comun hidir bifore the tyme to turmente vs? |
| 8:30 | And not fer fro hem was a flocke of many swyne lesewynge. |
| 8:31 | And the deuelis preyeden hym, and seiden, If thou castist out vs fro hennes, sende vs in to the droue of swyne. |
| 8:32 | And he seide to hem, Go ye. And thei yeden out, and wenten in to the swyne; and loo! in a greet bire al the droue wente heedlyng in to the see, and thei weren deed in the watris. |
| 8:33 | And the hirdis fledden awey, and camen in to the citee, and telden alle these thingis, and of hem that hadden the feendis. |
| 8:34 | And lo! al the citee wente out ayens Jhesu; and whanne thei hadden seyn hym, thei preieden, that he wolde passe fro her coostis. |
