| 9:1 | And hee entred into a ship, and passed ouer, and came into his owne citie. |
| 9:2 | And behold, they brought to him a man sicke of the palsie, lying on a bed: and Iesus seeing their faith, said vnto the sicke of the palsie, Sonne, be of good cheere, thy sinnes be forgiuen thee. |
| 9:3 | And behold, certaine of the Scribes said within themselues, This man blasphemeth. |
| 9:4 | And Iesus knowing their thoughts, said, Wherefore thinke yee euill in your hearts? |
| 9:5 | For whether is easier to say, Thy sinnes be forgiuen thee: or to say, Arise, and walke? |
| 9:6 | But that yee may know that the sonne of man hath power on earth to forgiue sinnes, (Then saith hee to the sicke of the palsie) Arise, take vp thy bed, and goe vnto thine house. |

| 9:8 | But when the multitudes saw it, they marueiled, & glorified God, which had giuen such power vnto men. |
| 9:9 | And as Iesus passed forth from thence, he saw a man named Matthew, sitting at the receite of custome: and he saith vnto him, Follow me. And he arose and followed him. |
| 9:10 | And it came to passe, as Iesus sate at meate in the house, behold, many publicanes and sinners, came and sate downe with him and his Disciples. |
| 9:11 | And when the Pharisees saw it, they said vnto his disciples, Why eateth your master with publicanes & sinners. |
| 9:12 | But when Iesus heard that, hee said vnto them, They that be whole neede not a Physicion, but they that are sicke. |
| 9:13 | But goe ye and learne what that meaneth, I will haue mercy and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance. |
| 9:14 | Then came to him the disciples of Iohn, saying, Why doe we and the Pharisees fast oft, but thy disciples fast not? |
| 9:15 | And Iesus saide vnto them, Can the children of the bride-chamber mourne, as long as the bridegrome is with them? But the dayes will come when the bridegrome shall bee taken from them, and then shall they fast. |
| 9:16 | No man putteth a piece of new cloth vnto an olde garment: for that which is put in to fill it vp, taketh from the garment, & the rent is made worse. |
| 9:17 | Neither doe men put new wine into old bottels: else the bottels breake, and the wine runneth out, and the bottels perish: but they put new wine into new bottels, and both are preserued. |
| 9:18 | While hee spake these things vnto them, beholde, there came a certaine ruler and worshipped him, saying, My daughter is euen now dead: but come, and lay thy hand vpon her, and she shall liue. |
| 9:19 | And Iesus arose, and followed him, and so did his disciples. |
| 9:20 | (And behold, a woman which was diseased with an issue of blood twelue yeeres, came behinde him, and touched the hemme of his garment. |
| 9:21 | For she said within her selfe, If I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole. |
| 9:22 | But Iesus turned him about, and when he saw her, he said, Daughter, bee of good comfort, thy faith hath made thee whole. And the woman was made whole from that houre.) |
| 9:23 | And when Iesus came into the rulers house, and saw the minstrels and the people making a noise, |
| 9:24 | He said vnto them, Giue place, for the mayd is not dead, but sleepeth. And they laughed him to scorne. |
| 9:25 | But when the people were put foorth, he went in, and tooke her by the hand: and the mayd arose. |
| 9:26 | And the fame hereof went abroad into all that land. |
| 9:27 | And when Iesus departed thence, two blinde men followed him, crying, and saying, Thou sonne of Dauid, haue mercy on vs. |
| 9:28 | And when he was come into the house, the blinde men came to him: and Iesus saith vnto them, Beleeue ye that I am able to doe this? They said vnto him, Yea, Lord. |
| 9:29 | Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith, bee it vnto you. |
| 9:30 | And their eyes were opened: and Iesus straitly charged them, saying, See that no man know it. |
| 9:31 | But they, when they were departed, spread abroad his fame in all that countrey. |
| 9:32 | As they went out, beholde, they brought to him a dumbe man possessed with a deuill. |
| 9:33 | And when the deuil was cast out, the dumbe spake, and the multitudes marueiled, saying, It was neuer so seene in Israel. |
| 9:34 | But the Pharisees said, He casteth out the deuils through the prince of the deuils. |
| 9:35 | And Iesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their Synagogues, and preaching the Gospel of the kingdome, and healing euery sickenesse, and euery disease among the people. |
| 9:36 | But when he saw the multitudes, he was moued with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheepe hauing no shepheard. |
| 9:37 | Then saith he vnto his disciples, The haruest truely is plenteous, but the labourers are few. |
| 9:38 | Pray ye therefore the Lord of the haruest, that hee will send foorth labourers into his haruest. |

| 9:13 | Go and learne, what that meaneth: I haue pleasure in mercy, and not in offerynge. For I am not come to call the righteous, but ye synners to repentaunce, |
| 9:14 | Then came the disciples of Ihon to hym sayinge: why do we & ye Pharises fast so oft: and thy disciples fast not? |
| 9:15 | And Iesus sayde vnto the: Can the weddynge chyldre mourne as loge as the bridegrome is with them? The tyme will come, when the bridegrome shalbe taken from them, and the shall they fast. |
| 9:16 | No man peceth an olde garment with a pece of newe clothe. For then taketh he awaye the pece agayne from the garment, & the rent ys made greater. |
| 9:17 | Nether do men put new wyne in to olde vessels, for then the vessels breake, and the wyne runneth out, & ye vessels peryshe, But they poure newe wyne in to newe vessels, and so are both saued together, |
| 9:18 | Whyle he thus spake vnto them, beholde there came a certayne ruler, and worshipped him, sayinge: My doughter is eue now deceased, but come and lay yi honde on her, and she shall liue. |

| 9:21 | For she sayde in her silfe: yf I maye touche but euen his vesture only, I shalbe safe. |
| 9:22 | Then Iesus tourned him aboute, and behelde her, sayinge: Doughter be of good conforte, thy faith hath made ye safe. And she was made whole, euen that same houre. |
| 9:23 | And when Iesus came into the rulers house, and sawe the minstrels and the people raginge, |
| 9:24 | he sayde vnto them: Get you hece, for ye mayde is not deed, but slepeth. And they laughed hym to scorne. |
| 9:25 | But whan the people were put forth, he went in, and toke her by the honde, and the mayde arose. |
| 9:26 | And this was noysed through out all that londe. |
| 9:27 | And as Iesus departed thence, two blynde me folowed hym, cryinge and sayinge: O thou sonne of Dauid, haue mercy vpon vs. |
| 9:28 | And when he was come home, the blynde came to hym, And Iesus sayde vnto them Beleue ye, that I am able to do thys? And they sayde vnto hym: yee, LORDE. |
| 9:29 | Then touched he their eyes, sayinge: acordinge to youre fayth, be it vnto you. |

| 9:34 | But ye Pharises sayde: he casteth out deuyls, thorow the chefe deuyll. |
| 9:35 | And Iesus wente aboute in all cities and townes, teachinge in their synagoges & preachyng ye gospel of ye kyngdome, & healinge all maner sicknes & all maner desease amoge the people. |
| 9:36 | And when he sawe the people, he had compassion on the, because they were pyned awaye, and scattered abroade, euen as shepe hauinge no shepherd, |
| 9:37 | Then sayde he to hys disciples: ye heruest is greate, but ye laborers are fewe. |
| 9:38 | Wherfore praye the LORDE of the haruest, to sende forth laborers into hys haruest. |

| 9:9 | And whanne Jhesus passide fro thennus, he say a man, Matheu bi name, sittynge in a tolbothe. And he seide to hym, Sue thou me. |
| 9:10 | And he roos, and folewide hym. And it was don, the while he sat `at the mete in the hous, lo! many pupplicans and synful men camen, and saten `at the mete with Jhesu and hise disciplis. |
| 9:11 | And Farisees sien, and seiden to hise disciplis, Whi etith youre maister with pupplicans and synful men? |
| 9:12 | And Jhesus herde, and seide, A leche is not nedeful to men that faren wel, but to men that ben yuel at ese. |
| 9:13 | But go ye, and lerne what it is, Y wole merci, and not sacrifice; for I cam, not to clepe riytful men, but synful men. |
| 9:14 | Thanne the disciplis of Joon camen to hym, and seiden, Whi we and Farisees fasten ofte, but thi disciplis fasten not? |
| 9:15 | And Jhesus seide to hem, Whether the sones of the spouse moun morne, as long as the spouse is with hem? But daies schulen come, whanne the spouse schal be takun a wei fro hem, and thanne thei schulen faste. |
| 9:16 | And no man putteth a clout of buystous clothe in to an elde clothing; for it doith awey the fulnesse of the cloth, and a wers breking is maad. |
| 9:17 | Nethir men putten newe wyne in to elde botelis, ellis the botels ben to-broke, and distried, and the wyn sched out. But men putten newe wyne in to newe botels, and bothe ben kept. |
| 9:18 | Whiles that Jhesus spak thes thingis to hem, lo! a prince cam, and worschipide hym, and seide, Lord, my douyter is now deed; but come thou, and putte thin hond on hir, and she schal lyue. |
| 9:19 | And Jhesus roos, and `hise disciplis, and sueden hym. |
| 9:20 | And lo! a womman, that hadde the blodi flux twelue yere, neiyede bihynde, and touchide the hem of his cloth. |
| 9:21 | For sche seide with ynne hir self, Yif Y touche oonli the cloth of hym, Y schal be saaf. |
| 9:22 | And Jhesus turnede, and say hir, and seide, Douytir, haue thou trist; thi feith hath maad thee saaf. And the womman was hool fro that our. |
| 9:23 | And whanne Jhesus cam in to the hous of the prince, and say mynstrallis, and the puple makynge noise, |
| 9:24 | he seide, Go ye a wei, for the damysel is not deed, but slepith. And thei scornyden hym. |
| 9:25 | And whanne the folc was put out, he wente in, and helde hir hond; and the damysel roos. |
| 9:26 | And this fame wente out in to al that loond. |
| 9:27 | And whanne Jhesus passide fro thennus, twei blynde men criynge sueden hym, and seiden, Thou sone of Dauid, haue merci on vs. |
| 9:28 | And whanne he cam in to the hous, the blynde men camen to hym; and Jhesus seide to hem, What wolen ye, that I do to you? And thei seiden, Lord, that oure iyen be opened. And Jhesus seide, Bileuen ye, that Y mai do this thing to you? Thei seien to him, Yhe, Lord. |

| 9:34 | But the Farisees seiden, In the prince of deuelis he castith out deuelis. |
| 9:35 | And Jhesus wente `aboute alle the `citees and castels, techinge in the synagogis of hem, and prechynge the gospel of the kyngdom, and helynge euery langour and euery sijknesse. |
| 9:36 | And he siy the puple, and hadde reuthe on hem; for thei weren trauelid, and liggynge as scheep not hauynge a scheepherde. |
| 9:37 | Thanne he seide to hise disciplis, Sotheli there is myche ripe corn, but fewe werk men. |
| 9:38 | Therfor preye ye the lord of the ripe corn, that he sende werke men in to his ripe corn. |
