8:1	Soðlice þa se hælend of þam munte niðer-astah. þa felgden hym michele menige.
8:2	Ða ge-neohlahte an hreofola to hym. & hine to hym ge-eadmede & þus cwæð. Drihten gif þu wilt þu miht me ge-clænsien.
8:3	Ða astrehte se hælend his hand. & repede hine. & þus cwæð. Ic wille. beo ge-clænsed. & hys hreofla wæs rædlice ge-claensed.
8:4	Ða cwæð se hælend to hym. warne þe þæt þu hyt nane gume ne segge. ac gä. & atewe þe þam sacerde. & bring hym þa lac þe moyses be-bead on heore ge-cyðnisse.
8:5	Soðlice þa se hælend in-eode on capharnaum. þa ge-neahlahte him an hundredes ealdor. hine biddende
8:6	& þus cweðende. Drihten. min cnape lið on mine huse lame. & mid yfele ge-þred.
8:7	Ða quoth se hælend to hym. ich cume & hine ge-hæle.
8:8	Þa answerede se hundredes ealdor & þus cwæð. Drihtem (sic) ne eom ic wurðe þæt þu ingange under mine þecene äc cweð þin an worð (sic). & min cnape beoð ge-hæled.
8:9	Soðlice ic eom man under anwealde ge-set. & ic hæbbe þeignes under me. & ic cweðe to þisen gang. & hyo gað. & ich cweðe to oðren cum. & hye cumeð. to minen þeowe werc þis. & he wercð.
8:10	Witodlice þa se hælend þis gehyrde. þa wundrede he. & cwæð to þan þe hym fylgden. Soð ich segge eow. ne gemette ich swa mychele geleafan on israel.
8:11	To soðen ic segge eow ðæt manege cumeð fram þan east-dæle. & west-dæle. & wunieð mid abrahame. & ysace. & Iacobe. on heofene riche.
8:12	Witodlice þis riches bearn beoð aworpene on þa ytemesten þeostre. þar beoð wop. & toþene gristbitung.
8:13	& se hælend cwæð to þam hundredes ealdre. Ga. & gewurðe þe swa swa þu ge-lyfdest. & se cnape wæs ge-hæled on þare ylcan tide.
8:14	Þa se hælend com on peteres huse þa geseah he his swygre liggende. & hriðiende.
8:15	& he æt-ran hyre hand & se feofer hyo for-let. þa aras hyo. & þeignede hym.
8:16	Soðliche ða hyt æfen wæs. hyo brohten hym manege deofel-seoke. & he ut-adraf þa unclæne gastes. mid hys worde. & he ealle ge-hælde þa yfel-hæbbenden.
8:17	þæt wære ge-fylled þæt þe gecweðen wæs þurh ysaian þane witega. þus cweðende. He on-feng ure untrumnysse. & he bær ure adle.
8:18	Ða ge-seah se hælend mycele manige ymbuton hine þa het he hyo faren ofer þane muðe.
8:19	Ða neahleahte hym an bokere. & cwæð. Lareow ich felgie þe swa hwider swa þu færst.
8:20	Ða cweð se hælend to hym. Foxas hæbbeð holo. & heofene fugeles nyst. soðlice mannes sune næfð hwær he hys heafod änhelde.
8:21	Ða cwæð to hym oðer of hys leorning-cnihton. Drihten alyf me ærest to farene to be-berienne minne fæder.
8:22	þa cwæð se hælend to heom. felgieð me. & læt þan deade be-byrian hyra deadan.
8:23	& he on-stah on scyp. & hys leorning-cnihtes hym felgdon.
8:24	Ða warð mychel steriung ge-worðen on þare sæ. swa þt þt scip wærð ofergoten mid yþum. witodlice he slep.
8:25	& hyo ge-neohlahton. & hyo awehten hine þus cweðende. Drihten hæl us. we motan for-wurðen.
8:26	Þa cwæð he to heom. to hwi sænde ge offirhte ge litles geleafan. Ða aras he. & bebead þam winde. & þare sæ. & þær warð ge-worðen mychel smoltnyss.
8:27	Ge-witodlice þa men wundreden & þus cwæðen. hwæt is þes. þe windes & sæ. hym hersumiað.
8:28	Þa se hælend com ofer þanne muþun on ge-raseniscre riche. þa urnen hym to-genes twegen þe hæfden deofel-seocnysse. of beregene ut-gangende. þa wæren swiðe reþe swa þæt nan man ne mihte faren þurh þanne weig.
8:29	And hyo remden & cwæðen. La hælend godes sune hwæt ys þe & us ge-mæne. come þu hider ær tide us to þreatigenne.
8:30	Þær wæs soðlice un-feor an swyna heord manegre manne læswiende.
8:31	þa deofle soðlice hine bæden þus cweðende. gif þu us ut-adrifst äsend us on þas swina heordan.
8:32	Ða cwæð se hælend to heom farað. & hyo þa ut-gangende & ferden on þa swin. & þær-rihte ferde eall seo heord miclum on-ræse niwel on þa sæ. & hyo wurðon deade on þam wætere.
8:33	Ða heordes witodlice flugen ænd comen on þa ceastre ænd kydden ealle þas þing & be þam þe þa deofel-seocnysse hæfdon.
8:34	Ða eode eall syo ceaster-ware togenes þam hælende & þa þa hyo. hine ge-sægen þa beden hyo hine þæt he ferde fram here gemæron.


8:1	Nowe when he was come downe from the mountaine, great multitudes followed him.
8:2	And loe, there came a Leper and worshipped him, saying, Master, if thou wilt, thou canst make me cleane.
8:3	And Iesus putting foorth his hand, touched him, saying, I will, be thou cleane: and immediatly his leprosie was clensed.
8:4	Then Iesus saide vnto him, See thou tell no man, but goe, and shewe thy selfe vnto the Priest, and offer the gift that Moses commanded, for a witnesse to them.
8:5	When Iesus was entred into Capernaum, there came vnto him a Centurion, beseeching him,
8:6	And saide, Master, my seruant lieth sicke at home of the palsie, and is grieuously pained.
8:7	And Iesus saide vnto him, I will come and heale him.
8:8	But the Centurion answered, saying, Master, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come vnder my roofe: but speake the worde onely, and my seruant shall be healed.
8:9	For I am a man also vnder the authoritie of an other, and haue souldiers vnder me: and I say to one, Goe, and he goeth: and to another, Come, and he commeth: and to my seruant, Doe this, and he doeth it.
8:10	When Iesus heard that, he marueiled, and said to them that folowed him, Verely, I say vnto you, I haue not found so great faith, euen in Israel.
8:11	But I say vnto you, that many shall come from the East and West, and shall sit downe with Abraham, and Isaac, and Iacob, in the kingdome of heauen.
8:12	And the children of the kingdome shall be cast out into vtter darkenes: there shalbe weeping and gnashing of teeth.
8:13	Then Iesus saide vnto the Centurion, Goe thy way, and as thou hast beleeued, so be it vnto thee, And his seruant was healed the same houre.
8:14	And when Iesus came to Peters house, he sawe his wiues mother layed downe, and sicke of a feuer.
8:15	And he touched her hande, and the feuer left her: so she arose, and ministred vnto them.
8:16	When the Euen was come, they brought vnto him many that were possessed with deuils: and he cast out the spirits with his worde, and healed all that were sicke,
8:17	That it might be fulfilled, which was spoken by Esaias the Prophet, saying, He tooke our infirmities, and bare our sickenesses.
8:18	And when Iesus sawe great multitudes of people about him, he commanded them to goe ouer the water.
8:19	Then came there a certaine Scribe, and said vnto him, Master, I will follow thee whithersoeuer thou goest.
8:20	But Iesus saide vnto him, The foxes haue holes, and the birdes of the heauen haue nestes, but the Sonne of man hath not whereon to rest his head.
8:21	And another of his disciples saide vnto him, Master, suffer me first to goe, and burie my father.
8:22	But Iesus said vnto him, Followe me, and let the dead burie their dead.
8:23	And when he was entred into ye ship, his disciples followed him.
8:24	And beholde, there arose a great tempest in the sea, so that the ship was couered with waues: but he was a sleepe.
8:25	Then his disciples came, and awoke him, saying, Master, saue vs: we perish.
8:26	And he said vnto them, Why are ye fearefull, O ye of litle faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea: and so there was a great calme.
8:27	And the men marueiled, saying, What man is this, that both the windes and the sea obey him!
8:28	And when he was come to the other side into ye countrey of the Gergesenes, there met him two possessed with deuils, which came out of the graues very fierce, so that no man might goe by that way.
8:29	And beholde, they cryed out, saying, Iesus the sonne of God, what haue we to do with thee? Art thou come hither to tormet vs before ye time?
8:30	Nowe there was, afarre off from them, a great heard of swine feeding.
8:31	And the deuils besought him, saying, If thou cast vs out, suffer vs to goe into the heard of swine.
8:32	And he said vnto them, Go. So they went out and departed into the heard of swine: and beholde, the whole heard of swine ranne headlong into the sea, and died in the water.
8:33	Then the heardmen fled: and when they were come into the citie, they tolde all things, and what was become of them that were possessed with the deuils.
8:34	And beholde, all ye citie came out to meete Iesus: and when they sawe him, they besought him to depart out of their coastes.

8:2	And lo ther came a lepre and worsheped him sayinge: Master if thou wylt thou canst make me clene.
8:3	And Iesus put forthe hys hond and touched hym sayinge: I wyll be thou clene and immediatly hys leprosie was clensed.
8:4	And Iesus sayde vnto him. Se thou tell no man but go and shewe thy selfe to the preste and offer the gyfte that Moses comaunded in witnes to them.
8:5	When Iesus was entred into Capernau ther came vnto him a certayne Centurion and besought hym
8:6	sayinge: Master my seruaunt lyeth sicke at home of ye palsye and ys greuously payned.
8:7	And Iesus sayd vnto hym: I will come and heale him.
8:8	The Centurio answered and sayde: Syr I am not worthy yt thou shuldest come vnder my rofe but speake ye worde only and my servaut shalbe healed.
8:9	For I also my selfe am a man vndre power and have sowdiers vndre me and I saye to one go and he goeth and to anothre come and he cometh: and to my seruaut do this and he doeth it.
8:10	When Iesus hearde yt he marveled and sayd to them yt folowed hym. Derely I say vnto you I have not foude so great fayth: no not in Israel.
8:11	I say therfore vnto you that many shall come fro the eest and weest and shall rest wt Abraham Isaac and Iacob in the kingdome of heve:
8:12	and the chyldren of ye kyngdome shalbe cast out in to vtter darcknes: there shalbe wepinge and gnasshing of tethe.
8:13	The Iesus sayd vnto ye Centurion go thy waye and as thou belevest so be it vnto the. And his servaunt was healed the selfe houre.
8:14	And then Iesus went to Peters housse and sawe hys wyves mother lyinge sicke of a fevre
8:15	and touched her hande and the fevre left hir: and she arose and ministred vnto them.
8:16	When the eue was come they brought vn to him many yt were possessed with devyllis. And he cast out ye spirites with a worde and healed all yt were sicke
8:17	to fulfill yt which was spoke by Esayas ye Prophet sayinge. He toke on him oure infirmities and bare oure sickneses.
8:18	Whe Iesus sawe moche people about him he comaunded to go over ye water.
8:19	And ther came a scribe and sayd vnto hym: master I wyll folowe ye whyther so ever thou goest.
8:20	And Iesus sayd vnto him: the foxes have holes and the bryddes of the ayer have nestes but ye sonne of the man hath not whero to rest his heede.
8:21	A nothre yt was one of hys disciples sayd vnto hym: master suffre me fyrst to go and burye my father.
8:22	But Iesus sayd vnto him: folowe me and let the deed burie their deed.
8:23	And he entred in to a shyppe and his disciples folowed him.
8:24	And beholde there arose a a greate tepest in ye see in so moche yt the shippe was covered wt waves and he was a slepe.
8:25	And his disciples came vn to him and awoke hym sayinge: master save vs we perishe.
8:26	And he sayd vnto them: why are ye fearfull o ye of lytell faithe? Then he arose and rebuked ye wyndes and the see and ther folowed a greate calme.
8:27	And the men marveyled and sayd: what man is this that bothe wyndes and see obey hym?
8:28	And when he was come to ye other syde in to ye coutre of ye Gergesites ther met him two possessed of devylles which came out of the graves and were out of measure fearce so yt no ma myght go by that waye.
8:29	And behold they cryed out sayinge: O Iesu the sonne of God what have we to do with the? Art thou come hyther to tormet vs before the tyme be come?
8:30	And ther was a good waye of fro them a greate heerd of swyne fedinge.
8:31	Then ye devyles besought him sayinge: if thou cast vs out suffre vs to go oure waye in to the heerd of swyne.
8:32	And he sayd vnto the: go youre wayes. Then wet they out and departed into ye heerd of swyne And beholde ye whoale heerd of swyne was caryed wt violence hedlinge in to the see and perisshed in ye water.
8:33	Then ye heerdme fleed and wet their ways in to ye cyte and tolde every thinge and what had fortuned vnto the possessed of the devyls.
8:34	And beholde all the cyte came out and met Iesus. And when they sawe hym they besought hym to departe oute of their costes.
