9:11And Farisees sien, and seiden to hise disciplis, Whi etith youre maister with pupplicans and synful men?
9:12And Jhesus herde, and seide, A leche is not nedeful to men that faren wel, but to men that ben yuel at ese.
9:13But go ye, and lerne what it is, Y wole merci, and not sacrifice; for I cam, not to clepe riytful men, but synful men.
9:14Thanne the disciplis of Joon camen to hym, and seiden, Whi we and Farisees fasten ofte, but thi disciplis fasten not?

9:16And no man putteth a clout of buystous clothe in to an elde clothing; for it doith awey the fulnesse of the cloth, and a wers breking is maad.
9:17Nethir men putten newe wyne in to elde botelis, ellis the botels ben to-broke, and distried, and the wyn sched out. But men putten newe wyne in to newe botels, and bothe ben kept.
9:18Whiles that Jhesus spak thes thingis to hem, lo! a prince cam, and worschipide hym, and seide, Lord, my douyter is now deed; but come thou, and putte thin hond on hir, and she schal lyue.
9:19And Jhesus roos, and `hise disciplis, and sueden hym.
9:20And lo! a womman, that hadde the blodi flux twelue yere, neiyede bihynde, and touchide the hem of his cloth.
9:21For sche seide with ynne hir self, Yif Y touche oonli the cloth of hym, Y schal be saaf.
9:22And Jhesus turnede, and say hir, and seide, Douytir, haue thou trist; thi feith hath maad thee saaf. And the womman was hool fro that our.
9:23And whanne Jhesus cam in to the hous of the prince, and say mynstrallis, and the puple makynge noise,
9:24he seide, Go ye a wei, for the damysel is not deed, but slepith. And thei scornyden hym.
9:25And whanne the folc was put out, he wente in, and helde hir hond; and the damysel roos.
9:26And this fame wente out in to al that loond.
9:27And whanne Jhesus passide fro thennus, twei blynde men criynge sueden hym, and seiden, Thou sone of Dauid, haue merci on vs.
9:28And whanne he cam in to the hous, the blynde men camen to hym; and Jhesus seide to hem, What wolen ye, that I do to you? And thei seiden, Lord, that oure iyen be opened. And Jhesus seide, Bileuen ye, that Y mai do this thing to you? Thei seien to him, Yhe, Lord.
9:29Thanne he touchide her iyen, and seide, Aftir youre feith be it doon to you.
9:30And the iyen of hem were opened. And Jhesus thretenede hem, and seide, Se ye, that no man wite.
9:31But thei yeden out, and diffameden hym thorou al that lond.
9:32And whanne thei weren gon out, loo! thei brouyten to hym a doumbe man, hauynge a deuel.
9:33And whanne the deuel was cast out, the doumb man spak. And the puple wondride, and seide, It hath not be say thus in Israel.
9:34But the Farisees seiden, In the prince of deuelis he castith out deuelis.
9:35And Jhesus wente `aboute alle the `citees and castels, techinge in the synagogis of hem, and prechynge the gospel of the kyngdom, and helynge euery langour and euery sijknesse.
9:36And he siy the puple, and hadde reuthe on hem; for thei weren trauelid, and liggynge as scheep not hauynge a scheepherde.
9:37Thanne he seide to hise disciplis, Sotheli there is myche ripe corn, but fewe werk men.
9:38Therfor preye ye the lord of the ripe corn, that he sende werke men in to his ripe corn.

9:1Then hee entred into a shippe, and passed ouer, and came into his owne citie.
9:2And loe, they brought to him a man sicke of the palsie, laid on a bed. And Iesus seeing their faith, saide to the sicke of the palsie, Sonne, be of good comfort: thy sinnes are forgiuen thee.
9:3And beholde, certaine of the Scribes saide with themselues, This man blasphemeth.
9:4But when Iesus saw their thoughts, he said, Wherefore thinke yee euil things in your hearts?
9:5For whether is it easier to say, Thy sinnes are forgiuen thee, or to say, Arise, and walke?
9:6And that ye may knowe that the Sonne of man hath authoritie in earth to forgiue sinnes, (then saide he vnto the sicke of the palsie,) Arise, take vp thy bed, and goe to thine house.
9:7And hee arose, and departed to his owne house.
9:8So when the multitude sawe it, they marueiled, and glorified God, which had giuen such authoritie to men.
9:9And as Iesus passed foorth from thence, hee sawe a man sitting at the custome, named Matthewe, and saide to him, Followe me. And he arose, and followed him.
9:10And it came to passe, as Iesus sate at meate in his house, beholde, many Publicanes and sinners, that came thither, sate downe at the table with Iesus and his disciples.
9:11And when the Pharises sawe that, they saide to his disciples, Why eateth your master with Publicanes and sinners?
9:12Nowe when Iesus heard it, hee sayde vnto them, The whole neede not a Physition, but they that are sicke.
9:13But goe yee and learne what this is, I will haue mercie, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but the sinners to repentance.
9:14Then came the disciples of Iohn to him, saying, Why doe we and the Pharises fast oft, and thy disciples fast not?
9:15And Iesus saide vnto them, Can the children of the marriage chamber mourne as long as the bridegrome is with them? But the daies will come, when the bridegrome shall be taken from them, and then shall they fast.
9:16Moreouer no man pieceth an olde garment with a piece of newe cloth: for that that should fill it vp, taketh away from the garment, and the breach is worse.
9:17Neither doe they put newe wine into olde vessels: for then the vessels would breake, and the wine woulde be spilt, and the vessels shoulde perish: but they put new wine into newe vessels, and so are both preserued.
9:18While hee thus spake vnto them, beholde, there came a certaine ruler, and worshipped him, saying, My daughter is nowe deceased, but come and laie thine hande on her, and shee shall liue.
9:19And Iesus arose and followed him with his disciples.
9:20(And beholde, a woman which was diseased with an issue of blood twelue yeres, came behinde him, and touched the hemme of his garment.
9:21For shee saide in her selfe, If I may touche but his garment onely, I shalbe whole.
9:22Then Iesus turned him about, and seeing her, did say, Daughter, be of good comfort: thy faith hath made thee whole. And the woman was made whole at that same moment.)
9:23Nowe when Iesus came into the Rulers house, and saw the minstrels and the multitude making noise,
9:24He said vnto them, Get you hence: for the maid is not dead, but sleepeth. And they laughed him to scorne.
9:25And when the multitude were put foorth, hee went in and tooke her by the hande, and the maide arose.
9:26And this bruite went throughout all that lande.
9:27And as Iesus departed thence, two blinde men followed him, crying, and saying, O sonne of Dauid, haue mercie vpon vs.
9:28And when hee was come into the house, the blinde came to him, and Iesus saide vnto them, Beleeue yee that I am able to doe this? And they sayd vnto him, Yea, Lord.
9:29Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it vnto you.
9:30And their eyes were opened, and Iesus gaue them great charge, saying, See that no man knowe it.
9:31But when they were departed, they spread abroad his fame throughout all that land.
9:32And as they went out, beholde, they brought to him a domme man possessed with a deuill.
9:33And when the deuill was cast out, the domme spake: then the multitude marueiled, saying, The like was neuer seene in Israel.
9:34But the Pharises saide, He casteth out deuils, through the prince of deuils.
9:35And Iesus went about all cities and townes, teaching in their Synagogues, and preaching the Gospel of the kingdome, and healing euery sickenesse and euery disease among the people.
9:36But when he saw the multitude, he had compassion vpon them, because they were dispersed, and scattered abroade, as sheepe hauing no shepheard.
9:37Then saide he to his disciples, Surely the haruest is great, but the labourers are fewe.
9:38Wherefore pray the Lord of the haruest, that he woulde sende foorth labourers into his haruest.

9:1So He got into a boat, crossed over, and came into His own city.
9:2Then behold, they brought to Him a paralytic lying on a bed. And Jesus seeing their faith said to the paralytic, "Son, be of good cheer; your sins are forgiven you."
9:3And, immediately some of the scribes said within themselves, "This Man blasphemes!"
9:4But Jesus knowing their thoughts said, "Why do you think evil in your hearts?"
9:5Because which is easiest to say, 'Your sins are forgiven you,' or to say, 'Rise up and walk?'"
9:6But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins," then He said to the paralytic, "Rise up, take up your bed, and go to your house."
9:7And he rose up, and departed to his house.
9:8Now when the crowds saw it, they marveled, and glorified God, who had given such authority to men.
9:9And as Jesus passed on from there, He saw a man named Matthew sitting at the tax office. And He said to him, "Follow Me." So he rose up, and followed Him.
9:10Now it happened, as Jesus sat at the table in the house, behold, many tax collectors and sinners came and sat down with Him and His disciples.
9:11And when the Pharisees saw it, they said to His disciples, "Why does your Teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?"
9:12But when Jesus heard that, He said to them, "Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick."
9:13But go and learn what this means: 'I desire mercy and not sacrifice.' Because, I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance."
9:14Then the disciples of John came to Him, saying, "Why do we and the Pharisees fast often, but your disciples do not fast?"
9:15And Jesus said to them, "Can the children of the bridechamber mourn, as long as the bridegroom is with them? But the days will come, when the bridegroom will be taken away from them, and then they will fast."
9:16No man puts a piece of new cloth on old clothing, because, that which is put in to patch it rips away from the clothing, and the tear is made worse."
9:17Neither do they put new grape juice into old wineskins, or else the wineskins break, and the grape juice spills out, and the wineskins perish. But they put new grape juice into new wineskins, and both are preserved."
9:18While He spoke these things to them, behold, a certain ruler came, and worshiped Him, saying, "My daughter has just died, but come and lay Your hand upon her, and she will live."
9:19So Jesus rose up, and followed him, and so did His disciples.
9:20And, suddenly a woman, who had a discharge of blood for twelve years, came from behind Him, and touched the edge of His clothes.
9:21Because she said within herself, "If only I may touch His clothes, I will be made well."
9:22But Jesus turned around, and when He saw her, He said, "Be cheerful daughter; your faith has made you well." And the woman was made well from that hour.
9:23And when Jesus came into the ruler's house, and saw the musicians and the people making a noise,
9:24He said to them, "Make room, because the girl is not dead, but is sleeping." And they laughed and mocked at Him.
9:25But when the people were put outside, He went in and took her by the hand, and the girl arose.
9:26And the fame of this went out into all that land.
9:27And when Jesus departed from there, two blind men followed Him, shouting, and saying, "You, Son of David, have mercy on us!"
9:28And when He had come into the house, the blind men came to Him. And Jesus said to them, "Do you believe that I am able to do this?" They said to Him, "Yes, Lord."
9:29Then He touched their eyes, saying, "According to your faith let it be to you."
9:30And their eyes were opened. And Jesus firmly warned them, saying, "See that no one knows it."
9:31But when they had departed, they spread the fame about Him in all that country.
9:32As they went out, behold, they brought to Him a mute man possessed with a demon.
9:33And when the demon was cast out, the mute spoke. And the crowds marveled, saying, "It has never been seen like this in Israel!"
9:34But the Pharisees said, "He casts out demons by the ruler of the demons."
9:35Then Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people.
9:36But when He saw the crowds, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were exhausted, and scattered everywhere, like sheep having no shepherd.
9:37Then He said to His disciples, "Truly the harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few."
9:38Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest that He will send out laborers into His harvest."
