| 17:1 | Then said he vnto the disciples, It is impossible but that offences will come, but wo vnto him through whom they come. |
| 17:2 | It were better for him that a milstone were hanged about his necke, and he cast into the Sea, then that he should offend one of these little ones. |
| 17:3 | Take heed to your selues: If thy brother trespasse against thee, rebuke him, and if he repent, forgiue him. |
| 17:4 | And if hee trespasse against thee seuen times in a day, and seuen times in a day turne againe to thee, saying, I repent, thou shalt forgiue him. |
| 17:5 | And the Apostles said vnto the Lord, Increase our faith. |
| 17:6 | And the Lord said, If yee had faith as a graine of mustard seede, yee might say vnto this Sycamine tree, Be thou plucked vp by the root, and be thou planted in the sea, & it should obey you. |
| 17:7 | But which of you hauing a seruant plowing, or feeding cattell, will say vnto him by & by when he is come from the field, Goe and sit downe to meate? |
| 17:8 | And will not rather say vnto him, Make ready wherewith I may suppe, and gird thy selfe, and serue me, till I haue eaten and drunken: and afterward thou shalt eate and drinke. |
| 17:9 | Doeth he thanke that seruant, because hee did the things that were commanded him? I trow not. |
| 17:10 | So likewise ye, when ye shal haue done all those things which are commanded you, say, Wee are vnprofitable seruants: Wee haue done that which was our duety to doe. |
| 17:11 | And it came to passe, as he went to Hierusalem, that hee passed thorow the mids of Samaria and Galile. |
| 17:12 | And as he entred into a certaine village, there met him tenne men that were lepers, which stood afarre off. |
| 17:13 | And they lifted vp their voices, and said, Iesus master haue mercy on vs. |
| 17:14 | And when he saw them, hee said vnto them, Goe shew your selues vnto the Priests. And it came to passe, that as they went, they were cleansed. |
| 17:15 | And one of them when hee sawe that he was healed, turned backe, and with a loud voice glorified God, |
| 17:16 | And fell downe on his face at his feet, giuing him thanks: and he was a Samaritane. |
| 17:17 | And Iesus answering, said, Were there not ten cleansed, but where are the nine? |
| 17:18 | There are not found that returned to giue glory to God, saue this stranger. |
| 17:19 | And he said vnto him, Arise, go thy way, thy faith hath made thee whole. |
| 17:20 | And when hee was demanded of the Pharises, when the kingdome of God should come, hee answered them, and said, The kingdome of God commeth not with obseruation. |
| 17:21 | Neither shall they say, Loe here, or loe there: for behold, the kingdome of God is within you. |
| 17:22 | And hee said vnto the disciples, The dayes will come, when ye shall desire to see one of the dayes of the Sonne of man, and ye shall not see it. |
| 17:23 | And they shall say to you, See here, or see there: Goe not after them, nor follow them. |
| 17:24 | For as the lightning that lighteneth out of the one part vnder heauen, shineth vnto the other part vnder heauen: so shall also the Sonne of man be in his day. |
| 17:25 | But first must hee suffer many things, & be reiected of this generation. |
| 17:26 | And as it was in the dayes of Noe: so shal it be also in the dayes of the Sonne of man. |
| 17:27 | They did eate, they dranke, they married wiues, they were giuen in mariage, vntill the day that Noe entred into the arke: and the flood came, and destroyed them all. |
| 17:28 | Likewise also as it was in the dayes of Lot, they did eat, they dranke, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded: |
| 17:29 | But the same day that Lot went out of Sodome, it rained fire and brimstone from heauen, & destroyed them all: |
| 17:30 | Euen thus shall it bee in the day when the Sonne of man is reuealed. |
| 17:31 | In that day he which shall be vpon the house top, and his stuffe in the house, let him not come downe to take it away: and he that is in the field, let him likewise not returne backe. |

| 17:33 | Whosoeuer shall seeke to saue his life, shall lose it, and whosoeuer shall lose his life, shall preserue it. |
| 17:34 | I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shal be taken, the other shall be left. |
| 17:35 | Two women shall bee grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left. |
| 17:36 | Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. |
| 17:37 | And they answered, and said vnto him, Where, Lord? And he said vnto them, Wheresoeuer the body is, thither will the Eagles be gathered together. |

| 17:5 | And the Apostles sayde vnto ye LORDE: Increace oure faith. |
| 17:6 | The LORDE sayde: Yf ye haue faith as a grayne of mustarde sede, and saye vnto this Molbery tre: Plucke thy self vp by the rotes, and plate thy self in the see, it shalbe obediet vnto you. |
| 17:7 | Which of you is it, that hath a seruaunt (which ploweth, or fedeth the catell) wha he commeth home from ye felde, that he wil saye vnto him: Go quyckly, and syt the downe to meate? |
| 17:8 | Is it not thus? that he sayeth vnto him: Make ready, that I maye suppe, gyrde vp thyself, and serue me, tyll I haue eaten and dronken, afterwarde shalt thou eate and drynke also. |
| 17:9 | Thanketh he the same seruaunt also, because he dyd that was commaunded him? I trowe not. |
| 17:10 | So likewyse ye, wha ye haue done all that is comaunded you, saye: We are vnprofitable seruauntes, we haue done that we were bounde to do. |
| 17:11 | And it fortuned, whan he toke his iourney towarde Ierusalem, he wente thorow the myddest of Samaria and Galile. |
| 17:12 | And as he came in to a towne, there met him ten leporous men, which stode afarre of, |
| 17:13 | and lift vp their voyce, and sayde: Iesu master, haue mercy vpon vs. |
| 17:14 | And whan he sawe them, he sayde vnto the: Go, and shewe youre selues vnto ye prestes. And it came to passe, as they wente, they were clensed. |
| 17:15 | And one of them wha he sawe that he was clensed, he turned backe agayne, and praysed God with loude voyce, |
| 17:16 | and fell downe on his face at his fete, and gaue him thankes. And the same was a Samaritane. |
| 17:17 | Iesus answered and saide: Are there not ten clensed? But where are those nyne? |
| 17:18 | There were els none founde, that turned agayne, and gaue God the prayse, saue onely this strauger. |
| 17:19 | And he sayde vnto him: Aryse, go thy waye, thy faith hath made ye whole. |
| 17:20 | But whan he was demaunded of ye Pharises: Whan cometh the kyngdome of God? He answered them, and sayde: The kyngdome of God commeth not with outwarde appearaunce, |
| 17:21 | nether shal it be sayde: lo, here or there is it. For beholde, ye kyngdome of God is inwarde in you. |
| 17:22 | And he sayde to the disciples: The tyme shal come, wha ye shal desyre to se one daye of the sonne of man, and shal not se it. |
| 17:23 | And they shal saye vnto you: Se here, Se there. Go not ye, nether folowe, |
| 17:24 | for as the lightenynge shyneth aboue from the heauen, and lighteth ouer all that is vnder the heaue, so shal the sonne of ma be in his daye. |
| 17:25 | But first must he suffre many thinges, and be refused of this generacion. |
| 17:26 | And as it came to passe in the tyme of Noe, so shal it come to passe also in ye dayes of the sonne of man. |
| 17:27 | They ate, they dranke, they maried, and were maried, euen vnto ye daye that Noe wente in to the Arke, and ye floude came, and destroyed them all. |
| 17:28 | Likewyse also as it came to passe in the tyme of Lot, they ate, they dranke, they bought, they solde, they planted, they buylded. |
| 17:29 | But euen the same daye that Lot wente out of Sodom, it rayned fyre and brymstone from heaue, and destroyed them all. |
| 17:30 | After this maner also shal it go, in the daye whan the sonne of man shal appeare. |
| 17:31 | In that daye, who so is vpo the rofe, and his stuffe in ye house, let him not come downe to fetch it: Likewyse he that is in the felde, let him not turne backe, for it that is behynde him. |

| 17:7 | But who of you hath a seruaunt erynge, or lesewynge oxis, which seith to hym, whanne he turneth ayen fro the feeld, Anoon go, and sitte to mete; |
| 17:8 | and seith not to hym, Make redi, that Y soupe, and girde thee, and serue me, while Y ete and drynke, and aftir this thou schalt ete and drynke; |
| 17:9 | whether he hath grace to that seruaunt, for he dide that that he comaundide hym? |
| 17:10 | Nay, Y gesse. So ye, whanne ye han don alle thingis that ben comaundid to you, seie ye, We ben vnprofitable seruauntis, we han do that that we ouyten to do. |
| 17:11 | And it was do, the while Jhesus wente in to Jerusalem, he passide thorou the myddis of Samarie, and Galilee. |
| 17:12 | And whanne he entride in to a castel, ten leprouse men camen ayens hym, whiche stoden afer, |
| 17:13 | and reiseden her voys, and seiden, Jhesu, comaundoure, haue merci on vs. |
| 17:14 | And as he say hem, he seide, Go ye, `schewe ye you to the prestis. And it was don, the while thei wenten, thei weren clensid. |
| 17:15 | And oon of hem, as he saiy that he was clensid, wente ayen, magnifiynge God with grete vois. |
| 17:16 | And he fel doun on the face bifore hise feet, and dide thankyngis; and this was a Samaritan. |
| 17:17 | And Jhesus answerde, and seide, Whether ten ben not clensid, and where ben the nyne? |
| 17:18 | There is noon foundun, that turnede ayen, and yaf glorie to God, but this alien. |
| 17:19 | And he seide to hym, Rise vp, go thou; for thi feith hath maad thee saaf. |
| 17:20 | And he was axid of Farisees, whanne the rewme of God cometh. And he answerde to hem, and seide, The rewme of God cometh not with aspiyng, |
| 17:21 | nether thei schulen seie, Lo! here, or lo there; for lo! the rewme of God is with ynne you. |
| 17:22 | And he seide to hise disciplis, Daies schulen come, whanne ye schulen desire to se o dai of mannus sone, and ye schulen not se. |
| 17:23 | And thei schulen seie to you, Lo! here, and lo there. Nyle ye go, nether sue ye; |
| 17:24 | for as leyt schynynge from vndur heuene schyneth in to tho thingis that ben vndur heuene, so schal mannus sone be in his dai. |
| 17:25 | But first it bihoueth hym to suffre many thingis, and to be repreued of this generacioun. |
| 17:26 | And as it was doon in the daies of Noe, so it schal be in the daies of mannys sone. |
| 17:27 | Thei eeten and drunkun, weddiden wyues, and weren youun to weddyngis, til in to the dai in the whych Noe entride in to the schip; and the greet flood cam, and loste alle. |
| 17:28 | Also as it was don in the daies of Loth, thei eeten and drunkun, bouyten and seelden, plauntiden and bildiden; but the dai that Loth wente out of Sodome, |
| 17:29 | the Lord reynede fier and brymstoon fro heuene, and loste alle. |
| 17:30 | Lijk this thing it schal be, in what dai mannys sone schal be schewid. |
| 17:31 | In that our he that is in the roof, and his vessels in the hous, come he not doun to take hem awei; and he that schal be in the feeld, also turne not ayen bihynde. |
| 17:32 | Be ye myndeful of the wijf of Loth. |
| 17:33 | Who euer seketh to make his lijf saaf, schal leese it; and who euer leesith it, schal quykene it. |
| 17:34 | But Y seie to you, in that nyyt twei schulen be in o bed, oon schal be takun, and the tothir forsakun; |
| 17:35 | twei wymmen schulen be gryndynge togidir, `the toon schal be takun, and `the tother forsakun; twei in a feeld, `the toon schal be takun, and `the tother left. |
| 17:36 | Thei answeren, and seien to hym, Where, Lord? |
| 17:37 | Which seide to hym, Where euer the bodi schal be, thidur schulen be gaderid togidere also the eglis. |
