Luke - Chapter: 17

>
17:1Then said he vnto the disciples, It is impossible but that offences will come, but wo vnto him through whom they come.
17:2It were better for him that a milstone were hanged about his necke, and he cast into the Sea, then that he should offend one of these little ones.
17:3Take heed to your selues: If thy brother trespasse against thee, rebuke him, and if he repent, forgiue him.
17:4And if hee trespasse against thee seuen times in a day, and seuen times in a day turne againe to thee, saying, I repent, thou shalt forgiue him.
17:5And the Apostles said vnto the Lord, Increase our faith.
17:6And the Lord said, If yee had faith as a graine of mustard seede, yee might say vnto this Sycamine tree, Be thou plucked vp by the root, and be thou planted in the sea, & it should obey you.
17:7But which of you hauing a seruant plowing, or feeding cattell, will say vnto him by & by when he is come from the field, Goe and sit downe to meate?
17:8And will not rather say vnto him, Make ready wherewith I may suppe, and gird thy selfe, and serue me, till I haue eaten and drunken: and afterward thou shalt eate and drinke.
17:9Doeth he thanke that seruant, because hee did the things that were commanded him? I trow not.
17:10So likewise ye, when ye shal haue done all those things which are commanded you, say, Wee are vnprofitable seruants: Wee haue done that which was our duety to doe.
17:11And it came to passe, as he went to Hierusalem, that hee passed thorow the mids of Samaria and Galile.
17:12And as he entred into a certaine village, there met him tenne men that were lepers, which stood afarre off.
17:13And they lifted vp their voices, and said, Iesus master haue mercy on vs.
17:14And when he saw them, hee said vnto them, Goe shew your selues vnto the Priests. And it came to passe, that as they went, they were cleansed.
17:15And one of them when hee sawe that he was healed, turned backe, and with a loud voice glorified God,
17:16And fell downe on his face at his feet, giuing him thanks: and he was a Samaritane.
17:17And Iesus answering, said, Were there not ten cleansed, but where are the nine?
17:18There are not found that returned to giue glory to God, saue this stranger.
17:19And he said vnto him, Arise, go thy way, thy faith hath made thee whole.
17:20And when hee was demanded of the Pharises, when the kingdome of God should come, hee answered them, and said, The kingdome of God commeth not with obseruation.
17:21Neither shall they say, Loe here, or loe there: for behold, the kingdome of God is within you.
17:22And hee said vnto the disciples, The dayes will come, when ye shall desire to see one of the dayes of the Sonne of man, and ye shall not see it.
17:23And they shall say to you, See here, or see there: Goe not after them, nor follow them.
17:24For as the lightning that lighteneth out of the one part vnder heauen, shineth vnto the other part vnder heauen: so shall also the Sonne of man be in his day.
17:25But first must hee suffer many things, & be reiected of this generation.
17:26And as it was in the dayes of Noe: so shal it be also in the dayes of the Sonne of man.
17:27They did eate, they dranke, they married wiues, they were giuen in mariage, vntill the day that Noe entred into the arke: and the flood came, and destroyed them all.
17:28Likewise also as it was in the dayes of Lot, they did eat, they dranke, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded:
17:29But the same day that Lot went out of Sodome, it rained fire and brimstone from heauen, & destroyed them all:
17:30Euen thus shall it bee in the day when the Sonne of man is reuealed.
17:31In that day he which shall be vpon the house top, and his stuffe in the house, let him not come downe to take it away: and he that is in the field, let him likewise not returne backe.
17:32Remember Lots wife.
17:33Whosoeuer shall seeke to saue his life, shall lose it, and whosoeuer shall lose his life, shall preserue it.
17:34I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shal be taken, the other shall be left.
17:35Two women shall bee grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
17:36Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
17:37And they answered, and said vnto him, Where, Lord? And he said vnto them, Wheresoeuer the body is, thither will the Eagles be gathered together.

17:1He sayde vnto his disciples: It is vnpossible that offences shulde not come: but wo vnto him by whom they come:
17:2It were better for him, that a mylstone were hanged aboute his neck, and he cast in to the see, then that he shulde offende one of these litle ones.
17:3Take hede to youre selues. Yf thy brother trespace agaynst the, rebuke him:
17:4and yf he amende, forgeue him. And though he synne agaynst the seuen tymes in a daye, and come seuen tymes in a daye to ye agayne, and saye: It repenteth me, forgeue him.
17:5And the Apostles sayde vnto ye LORDE: Increace oure faith.
17:6The LORDE sayde: Yf ye haue faith as a grayne of mustarde sede, and saye vnto this Molbery tre: Plucke thy self vp by the rotes, and plate thy self in the see, it shalbe obediet vnto you.
17:7Which of you is it, that hath a seruaunt (which ploweth, or fedeth the catell) wha he commeth home from ye felde, that he wil saye vnto him: Go quyckly, and syt the downe to meate?
17:8Is it not thus? that he sayeth vnto him: Make ready, that I maye suppe, gyrde vp thyself, and serue me, tyll I haue eaten and dronken, afterwarde shalt thou eate and drynke also.
17:9Thanketh he the same seruaunt also, because he dyd that was commaunded him? I trowe not.
17:10So likewyse ye, wha ye haue done all that is comaunded you, saye: We are vnprofitable seruauntes, we haue done that we were bounde to do.
17:11And it fortuned, whan he toke his iourney towarde Ierusalem, he wente thorow the myddest of Samaria and Galile.
17:12And as he came in to a towne, there met him ten leporous men, which stode afarre of,
17:13and lift vp their voyce, and sayde: Iesu master, haue mercy vpon vs.
17:14And whan he sawe them, he sayde vnto the: Go, and shewe youre selues vnto ye prestes. And it came to passe, as they wente, they were clensed.
17:15And one of them wha he sawe that he was clensed, he turned backe agayne, and praysed God with loude voyce,
17:16and fell downe on his face at his fete, and gaue him thankes. And the same was a Samaritane.
17:17Iesus answered and saide: Are there not ten clensed? But where are those nyne?
17:18There were els none founde, that turned agayne, and gaue God the prayse, saue onely this strauger.
17:19And he sayde vnto him: Aryse, go thy waye, thy faith hath made ye whole.
17:20But whan he was demaunded of ye Pharises: Whan cometh the kyngdome of God? He answered them, and sayde: The kyngdome of God commeth not with outwarde appearaunce,
17:21nether shal it be sayde: lo, here or there is it. For beholde, ye kyngdome of God is inwarde in you.
17:22And he sayde to the disciples: The tyme shal come, wha ye shal desyre to se one daye of the sonne of man, and shal not se it.
17:23And they shal saye vnto you: Se here, Se there. Go not ye, nether folowe,
17:24for as the lightenynge shyneth aboue from the heauen, and lighteth ouer all that is vnder the heaue, so shal the sonne of ma be in his daye.
17:25But first must he suffre many thinges, and be refused of this generacion.
17:26And as it came to passe in the tyme of Noe, so shal it come to passe also in ye dayes of the sonne of man.
17:27They ate, they dranke, they maried, and were maried, euen vnto ye daye that Noe wente in to the Arke, and ye floude came, and destroyed them all.
17:28Likewyse also as it came to passe in the tyme of Lot, they ate, they dranke, they bought, they solde, they planted, they buylded.
17:29But euen the same daye that Lot wente out of Sodom, it rayned fyre and brymstone from heaue, and destroyed them all.
17:30After this maner also shal it go, in the daye whan the sonne of man shal appeare.
17:31In that daye, who so is vpo the rofe, and his stuffe in ye house, let him not come downe to fetch it: Likewyse he that is in the felde, let him not turne backe, for it that is behynde him.
17:32Remebre Lottes wife.
17:33Who so euer goeth aboute to saue his life, shal lose it: and who so euer shal lose it, shal saue it.
17:34I saye vnto you: In yt night shal two lye vpon one bed, the one shalbe receaued, the other shalbe for saken.
17:35Two shalbe gryndinge together, the one shalbe receaued, the other shalbe forsaken.

17:37And they answered, and sayde vnto him: Where LORDE? He sayde vnto the: Where so euer ye deed carcase is there wil ye Aegles be gathered together.

17:1And Jhesu seide to hise disciplis, It is impossible that sclaundris come not; but wo to that man, bi whom thei comen.
17:2It is more profitable to him, if a mylne stoon be put aboute his necke, and he be cast in to the see, than that he sclaundre oon of these litle.
17:3Take ye hede you silf; if thi brothir hath synned ayens thee, blame hym; and if he do penaunce, foryyue hym.
17:4And if seuene sithis in the dai he do synne ayens thee, and seuene sithis in the dai he be conuertid to thee, and seie, It forthenkith me, foryyue thou hym.
17:5And the apostlis seiden to the Lord, Encrese to vs feith.
17:6And the Lord seide, If ye han feith as the corn of seneuei, ye schulen seie to this more tre, Be thou drawun vp bi the rote, and be ouerplauntid in to the see, and it schal obeie to you.
17:7But who of you hath a seruaunt erynge, or lesewynge oxis, which seith to hym, whanne he turneth ayen fro the feeld, Anoon go, and sitte to mete;
17:8and seith not to hym, Make redi, that Y soupe, and girde thee, and serue me, while Y ete and drynke, and aftir this thou schalt ete and drynke;
17:9whether he hath grace to that seruaunt, for he dide that that he comaundide hym?
17:10Nay, Y gesse. So ye, whanne ye han don alle thingis that ben comaundid to you, seie ye, We ben vnprofitable seruauntis, we han do that that we ouyten to do.
17:11And it was do, the while Jhesus wente in to Jerusalem, he passide thorou the myddis of Samarie, and Galilee.
17:12And whanne he entride in to a castel, ten leprouse men camen ayens hym, whiche stoden afer,
17:13and reiseden her voys, and seiden, Jhesu, comaundoure, haue merci on vs.
17:14And as he say hem, he seide, Go ye, `schewe ye you to the prestis. And it was don, the while thei wenten, thei weren clensid.
17:15And oon of hem, as he saiy that he was clensid, wente ayen, magnifiynge God with grete vois.
17:16And he fel doun on the face bifore hise feet, and dide thankyngis; and this was a Samaritan.
17:17And Jhesus answerde, and seide, Whether ten ben not clensid, and where ben the nyne?
17:18There is noon foundun, that turnede ayen, and yaf glorie to God, but this alien.
17:19And he seide to hym, Rise vp, go thou; for thi feith hath maad thee saaf.
17:20And he was axid of Farisees, whanne the rewme of God cometh. And he answerde to hem, and seide, The rewme of God cometh not with aspiyng,
17:21nether thei schulen seie, Lo! here, or lo there; for lo! the rewme of God is with ynne you.
17:22And he seide to hise disciplis, Daies schulen come, whanne ye schulen desire to se o dai of mannus sone, and ye schulen not se.
17:23And thei schulen seie to you, Lo! here, and lo there. Nyle ye go, nether sue ye;
17:24for as leyt schynynge from vndur heuene schyneth in to tho thingis that ben vndur heuene, so schal mannus sone be in his dai.
17:25But first it bihoueth hym to suffre many thingis, and to be repreued of this generacioun.
17:26And as it was doon in the daies of Noe, so it schal be in the daies of mannys sone.
17:27Thei eeten and drunkun, weddiden wyues, and weren youun to weddyngis, til in to the dai in the whych Noe entride in to the schip; and the greet flood cam, and loste alle.
17:28Also as it was don in the daies of Loth, thei eeten and drunkun, bouyten and seelden, plauntiden and bildiden; but the dai that Loth wente out of Sodome,
17:29the Lord reynede fier and brymstoon fro heuene, and loste alle.
17:30Lijk this thing it schal be, in what dai mannys sone schal be schewid.
17:31In that our he that is in the roof, and his vessels in the hous, come he not doun to take hem awei; and he that schal be in the feeld, also turne not ayen bihynde.
17:32Be ye myndeful of the wijf of Loth.
17:33Who euer seketh to make his lijf saaf, schal leese it; and who euer leesith it, schal quykene it.
17:34But Y seie to you, in that nyyt twei schulen be in o bed, oon schal be takun, and the tothir forsakun;
17:35twei wymmen schulen be gryndynge togidir, `the toon schal be takun, and `the tother forsakun; twei in a feeld, `the toon schal be takun, and `the tother left.
17:36Thei answeren, and seien to hym, Where, Lord?
17:37Which seide to hym, Where euer the bodi schal be, thidur schulen be gaderid togidere also the eglis.
