2 Corinthians - Chapter: 7

>
7:1Seynge that we haue such promyses dearely beloued, let vs cleanse oure selues from al fylthynesse of the fleshe & spyrite, and grow vp to full holynesse in the feare of God.
7:2Vnderstande vs. We haue hurte no man: we haue corrupt no man: we haue defrauded no man.
7:3I speake not thys to condempne you: for I haue shewed you before, that ye are in oure hertes to dye, and lyue wyth you.
7:4I am very bolde ouer you, and reioyce gentelye in you. I am fylled with comforte, and am excedynge ioyouse in all oure trybulatyons.
7:5For when we were come into Macedonia, our flesh had no rest, but we were troubled on euerye syde. Outwarde was fyghtynge, inwarde was feare.
7:6Neuerthelesse GOD that comforteth the abiect, comforteth vs at the comming of Tytus.
7:7And not with hys commynge onelye: but also wyth the consolacyon wherewith he was comforted of you. For he tolde vs youre desyre, youre mournyng, youre feruent mynde to me warde, so that I now reioyce the more.
7:8Wherfore thoughe I made you sory with a letter, I repent not, though I dyd repent. For I perceyue that, that same Epistle made you sory, thoughe it were but for a season.
7:9But I nowe reioyce, not that ye were sory, but that ye so sorowed, that ye repented. For ye sorowed Godlye, so that in nothyng ye were hurt by vs.
7:10For Godly sorowe causeth repentaunce vnto saluacyon, not to be repented of: when worldlye sorowe causeth death.
7:11Beholde, what diligence thys Godlye sorowe that ye toke, hath wroughte in you: yea it caused you to cleare your selues. It caused indignacyon, it caused feare, it caused desyre, it caused a feruent mynde, it caused punyshement. For in all thynges ye haue shewed your selues that ye are cleare in that matter.
7:12Wherfore thoughe I wrote vnto you: I dyd it not for hys cause that dyd hurte, neyther for hys cause that was hurt: but that our good mynd whiche we haue towarde you in the syght of God, myght appeare vnto you.
7:13Therfore we are comforted, because ye are comforted: yea and excedynglye the more ioyed we, for the ioye that Titus had, because his spyryte was refreshed of you all.
7:14I am therfore, not nowe ashamed, though I bosted my selfe to hym of you. For as all thynges which I preached vnto you are true, euen so is oure bostyng, that I bosted my selfe to Titus with all, founde true.
7:15And nowe is his inwarde affection more aboundante towarde you, when he remembreth the obedience of euerye one of you, howe with feare and tremblynge ye receyued hym,
7:16I reioyce that. I maye be bolde ouer you in all thynges.

7:1Seynge that we haue soche promyses (dearely beloued) lett vs clense oure selues from all filthynes of the flesshe and sprete, and growe vp to full holynes wyth the feare of God.
7:2Understand vs we haue hurte no man: we haue corrupte no man: we haue defrauded no man.
7:3I speake not this to condemne you: for I haue shewed you before, that ye are in oure hertes to dye & lyue with you:
7:4I am very bolde ouer you, I reioyce greatly in you. I am fylled with comforte, and am exceadynge ioyouse in all oure tribulacyon.
7:5For when we were come into Macedonia oure flesshe had no rest, but we were troubled on euery syde. Outwarde was fyghtyng, inward was feare.
7:6Neuerthelesse God that conforteth the abiecte, conforted vs by the commynge of Titus.
7:7And not by his commynge onely: but also by the consolacyon which we receaued of you: when he tolde vs youre desyre, youre feruent mynde for me: so that I reioyced the more.
7:8For though I made you sory with a letter, I repent not: though I dyd repent. For I perceaue, that the same epistle made you sorye, though it were but for a ceason.
7:9But I nowe reioyce, not that ye were sory, but that ye so sorowed that ye repented. For ye sorowed godly: so that in nothynge ye were hurte by vs.
7:10For godly sorowe causeth repentaunce vnto saluacyon, not to be repented of, contrary wyse, worldely sorowe causeth deeth.
7:11For beholde, what diligence this godly sorowe that ye toke, hath wrought in you: yee it caused you to cleare yourselues. It caused indignacyon, it caused feare, it caused desire. it caused punisshment. For in all thynges ye haue shewed your selues, that ye were cleare in that matter.
7:12Wherfore, though I wrote vnto you, I dyd it not for his cause that had done the hurt, nether for his cause that was hurte: but that youre good mynde for vs might appeare amonge you in the syght of God.
7:13Therfore, we are comforted, because ye are comforted; yee, and exceadingly the more ioyed we, for the ioye that Titus had: because hys sprete was refresshed of you all.
7:14I am therfore not nowe ashamed, though I boasted my selfe to hym of you. For as all thynges which we spake vnto you are true, euen so, oure boastynge that I made vnto Titus is founde true.
7:15And his inwarde affeccion is founde aboundant towarde you, whan he remembreth the obedience of you all howe wt feare & tremblinge ye receaued hym.
7:16I reioyce that I maye be bolde ouer you in all thinges.

7:1Seing then we haue these promises, dearely beloued, let vs clense our selues from all filthinesse of the flesh and spirit, and finish our sanctification in the feare of God.
7:2Receiue vs: we haue done wrong to no man: we haue corrupted no man: we haue defrauded no man.
7:3I speake it not to your condemnation: for I haue said before, that ye are in our hearts, to die and liue together.
7:4I vse great boldnesse of speach toward you: I reioyce greatly in you: I am filled with comfort, and am exceeding ioyous in all our tribulation.
7:5For when we were come into Macedonia, our flesh had no rest, but we were troubled on euery side, fightings without, and terrours within.
7:6But God, that comforteth the abiect, comforted vs at the comming of Titus:
7:7And not by his comming onely, but also by the consolation wherewith he was comforted of you, when he tolde vs your great desire, your mourning, your feruent minde to me warde, so that I reioyced much more.
7:8For though I made you sorie with a letter, I repent not, though I did repent: for I perceiue that the same epistle made you sorie, though it were but for a season.
7:9I nowe reioyce, not that ye were sorie, but that ye sorowed to repentance: for ye sorowed godly, so that in nothing ye were hurt by vs.
7:10For godly sorowe causeth repentance vnto saluation, not to be repented of: but the worldly sorowe causeth death.
7:11For beholde, this thing that ye haue bene godly sory, what great care it hath wrought in you: yea, what clearing of yourselues: yea, what indignation: yea, what feare: yea, howe great desire: yea, what a zeale: yea, what reuenge: in all things ye haue shewed your selues, that ye are pure in this matter.
7:12Wherefore, though I wrote vnto you, I did not it for his cause that had done the wrong, neither for his cause that had the iniurie, but that our care toward you in the sight of God might appeare vnto you.
7:13Therefore we were comforted, because ye were comforted: but rather we reioyced much more for the ioye of Titus, because his spirit was refreshed by you all.
7:14For if that I haue boasted any thing to him of you, I haue not bene ashamed: but as I haue spoken vnto you all things in trueth, euen so our boasting vnto Titus was true.
7:15And his inwarde affection is more aboundant toward you, when he remembreth the obedience of you all, and howe with feare and trembling ye receiued him.
7:16I reioyce therefore that I may put my confidence in you in all things.
