2 Corinthians - Chapter: 9

>
9:1Of the ministrynge to the saynctes, it is but superfluous for me to wryte vnto you:
9:2for I knowe the redynes of your mynde, wherof I boast my selfe vnto them of Macedonia, that Achaia was prepared a yeare ago: and your ensample hath prouoked many.
9:3Neuerthelesse, yet haue I sent these brethren, lest our boasting which I make of you shulde be in vayne, in thys behalfe, that ye (as I haue sayde) maye prepare your selues:
9:4lest parauenture yf they of Macedonia come with me, and finde you vnprepared, we (I wyll not saye ye) shulde be ashamed in thys matter of boastynge.
9:5Wherfore, I thought it necessarye to exhorte the brethren, to come before hande vnto you, and to prepare youre good blessynge promysed afore, that it myght be ready, so that it be a blessynge, and not a defraudynge.
9:6This yet I saye: he which soweth lytell, shal reape lytell: & he that soweth (in geuyng) largelye and frelye, shall reape plenteouslye:
9:7And let euery man do, accordinge as he hath purposed in hys herte, not groudgyngly, or of necessyte. For God loueth a chearfull geuer.
9:8God is able to make you riche in all grace that ye in all thynges hauynge sufficyent vnto the vtmost, maye be riche vnto all maner of good workes,
9:9as it is wrytten: He hath sparsed abroade, and hath geuen to the poore, hys ryghtewesnesse remayneth for euer.
9:10He that minystreth seed vnto the sower, minystre breed also for fode: and multyplye youre seede, and increase the frutes of youre ryghtewesnesse,
9:11that on all partes, ye maye be made ryche into all synglenes, which causeth thorowe vs, that thankes are geuen vnto God.
9:12For the offyce of thys minystracion, not onely supplyeth the nede of the saynctes: but also is aboundaunt herin, that for thys laudable minystringe, thankes might be geuen to God of many,
9:13which prayse God for the obedience of youre consentynge to the Gospell of Christ, and for youre synglenesse in distrybutyng to them, and to all men,
9:14and in theyr prayers for you, which longe after you, for the aboundaunt grace of God in you.
9:15Thankes be vnto God, for hys vnspeakeable gyfte.

9:1For of the mynystrie that is maad to hooli men, it is to me of plente to write to you.
9:2For Y knowe youre wille, for the which Y haue glorie of you anentis Macedonyes, for also Acaie is redi fro a yeer passid, and youre loue hath stirid ful manye.
9:3And we han sent britheren, that this thing that we glorien of you, be not auoidid in this parti, that as Y seide, ye be redi.
9:4Lest whanne Macedonyes comen with me, and fynden you vnredi, we be schamed, that we seien you not, in this substaunce.
9:5Therfor Y gesside necessarie to preie britheren, that thei come bifore to you, and make redi this bihiyt blessyng to be redi, so as blessing, and not as aueryce.
9:6For Y seie this thing, he that sowith scarseli, schal also repe scarseli; and he that sowith in blessyngis, schal `repe also of blessyngis.
9:7Ech man as he castide in his herte, not of heuynesse, or of nede; for God loueth a glad yyuere.
9:8And God is miyti to make al grace abounde in you, that ye in alle thingis euere more han al sufficience, and abounde in to al good werk;
9:9as it is writun, He delide abrood, he yaf to pore men, his riytwisnesse dwellith withouten ende.
9:10And he that mynystrith seed to the sowere, schal yyue also breed to ete, and he schal multiplie youre seed, and make myche the encreessingis of fruytis of youre riytwisnesse;
9:11that in alle thingis ye maad riche waxen plenteuouse in to al symplenesse, which worchith bi vs doing of thankingis to God.
9:12For the mynystrie of this office not oneli fillith tho thingis that failen to holi men, but also multiplieth many thankyngis to God,
9:13bi the preuyng of this mynystrie, which glorifien God in the obedience of youre knouleching in the gospel of Crist, and in symplenesse of comynycacioun in to hem and in to alle,
9:14and in the biseching of hem for you, that desiren you for the excellent grace of God in you.
9:15Y do thankyngis to God of the yifte of hym, that may not be teld.

9:1Of the handreachinge vnto ye sayntes, it is no nede for me to wryte vnto you:
9:2for I knowe youre redynesse of mynde, wherof I boast my selfe amonge them of Macedonia, and saye: Achaia was ready a yeare agoo. And youre feruentnesse hath prouoked many.
9:3Neuertheles yet haue we sent these brethren, lest oure reioysinge ouer you shulde be in vayne in this behalfe, that ye mighte be ready, as I haue reported of you:
9:4lest whan they of Macedonia come with me, and fynde you vnprepared, we (I wyl not saye ye) shulde be ashamed in this presumpcion of boostinge.
9:5Wherfore I thoughte it necessary to exhorte the brethren, to come before hande vnto you, for to prepare this blessynge promysed afore, that it mighte be ready, so that it be a blessynge, and not a defraudynge.
9:6This I thynke: that he which soweth litle, shal reape litle also: and he yt soweth plenteously, shal likewyse reape plenteously,
9:7euery one acordynge as he hath purposed in his hert, not grudgingly, or of compulsion. For God loueth a chearfull geuer.
9:8God is able to make you riche in all grace, yt ye in all thinges hauynge sufficiet to the vttemost, maye be riche to all maner of good workes.
9:9As it is wrytte: He hath sparsed abrode & geue to ye poore, his righteousnes remayneth for euer.
9:10He that geueth sede vnto the sower, shal mynistre bred also for fode, and shal multiplye youre sede, and increase the frutes of yor righteousnes,
9:11that in all thinges ye maye be made riche vnto all singlenesse, which causeth thorow vs, thankesgeuynge vnto God.
9:12For the hadreachinge of this colleccion not onely suppleeth the nede off the sayntes, but also is abudaunt herin, that for this laudable mynistracion many mighte geue thakes vnto God,
9:13and prayse God for yor obedient professynge of the Gospell of Christ, & for yor synglenesse in distributynge vnto the, and to all men,
9:14and in their prayer for you, which longe after you, for the abundaunt grace of God in you.
9:15Thankes be vnto God for his vnoutspeakeable gifte.
