| 1:1 | Paul an apostle, not of men, nether by man: but by Iesus Christ, and by God the father, which raysed him vp from deeth: |
| 1:2 | and all the brethren which are with me. Unto the congregacions of Galacia. |
| 1:3 | Grace be with you, and peace from God the father, & from oure Lorde Iesus Christ, |
| 1:4 | which gaue hym selfe for our synnes to delyuer vs from thys present euyll worlde, accordynge to the wyll of God oure father, |
| 1:5 | to whom be prayse for euer and euer. Amen. |
| 1:6 | I maruayle, that ye are so soone turned (from Christ which called you by grace) vnto another Gospe |
| 1:7 | which is nothinge elles, but that there be some which trouble you, & intende to peruerte the Gospell of Christ. |
| 1:8 | Neuerthelesse, though we oure selues, or an angell from heauen, preache any other Gospell vnto you, then that which we haue preached vnto you, let him be acursed. |
| 1:9 | As we said before, so saye I nowe agayne, yf eny man preache eny other Gospell vnto you, then that ye haue receaued, lett hym be acursed. |
| 1:10 | Do I now perswade men, or God? Other do I seke to please men? For yf I had hythereto studyed to please men, I were not the seruaunt of Christ. |
| 1:11 | I certifye you brethren, that the Gospell which was preached of me, was not after the maner of men. |
| 1:12 | For I nether receaued it, ner learned it of man, but by the reuelacyon of Iesus Christ. |
| 1:13 | For ye haue hearde of my conuersacyon in tyme past, in the Iewes waye, howe that beyonde measure, I persecuted the congregacyon of God, and spoyled it, |
| 1:14 | and preuayled in the Iewes waye aboue many of my companions in myne awne nacyon beynge a very feruent mayntener of the tradicyons of the elders. |
| 1:15 | But when it pleased God, which seperated me from my mothers wombe, and called me here unto by hys grace, |
| 1:16 | for to declare hys sonne by me, that I shulde preache hym amonge the Heathen: immediatly I commened not of the matter with flessh & bloude, |
| 1:17 | nether returned to Ierusalem, to them which were apostles before me: but went my wayes into Arabia, and came agayne vnto Damasco. |
| 1:18 | Then after thre yeare, I returned to Ierusalem to se Peter, and abode with hym fyftene dayes. |
| 1:19 | Other of the apostles sawe I none, saue Iames the Lordes brother. |
| 1:20 | The thinges therfore which I wryte vnto you: beholde, before God I lye not. |
| 1:21 | After that I came into the coastes of Siria and Cilicia, |
| 1:22 | and was vnknowen as touchinge my person vnto the congregacions of Iewry, which were in Christ. |

| 1:4 | that yaf hym silf for oure synnes, to delyuere vs fro the present wickid world, bi the wille of God and of oure fadir, |
| 1:5 | to whom is worschip and glorie in to worldis of worldis. Amen. |
| 1:6 | I wondur, that so soone ye be thus moued fro hym that clepid you in to the grace of Crist, in to another euangelie; which is not anothir, |
| 1:7 | but that ther ben summe that troublen you, and wolen mysturne the euangelie of Crist. |
| 1:8 | But thouy we, or an aungel of heuene, prechide to you, bisidis that that we han prechid to you, be he acursid. |
| 1:9 | As Y haue seid bifore, and now eftsoones Y seie, if ony preche to you bisidis that that ye han vndurfongun, be he cursid. |
| 1:10 | For now whether counsele Y men, or God? or whether Y seche to plese men? If Y pleside yit men, Y were not Cristis seruaunt. |
| 1:11 | For, britheren, Y make knowun to you the euangelie, that was prechid of me, for it is not bi man; |
| 1:12 | ne Y took it of man, ne lernyde, but bi reuelacioun of Jhesu Crist. |
| 1:13 | For ye han herd my conuersacioun sumtyme in the Jurie, and that Y pursuede passyngli the chirche of God, and fauyt ayen it. |
| 1:14 | And Y profitide in the Jurie aboue many of myn eueneldis in my kynrede, and was more aboundauntli a folewere of my fadris tradiciouns. |
| 1:15 | But whanne it pleside hym, that departide me fro my modir wombe, |

| 1:18 | And sith thre yeer aftir Y cam to Jerusalem, to se Petre, and Y dwellide with hym fiftene daies; |

| 1:20 | And these thingis which Y write to you, lo! tofor God Y lie not. |
| 1:21 | Afterward Y cam in to the coostis of Syrie and Cilicie. |
| 1:22 | But Y was vnknowun bi face to the chirchis of Judee, that weren in Crist; and thei hadden oonli an heryng, |

| 1:10 | Preach I men now or God? Or go I aboute to please men? Yf I shulde yet please men, I were not the seruaunt of Christ. |
| 1:11 | But I certifye you brethren, yt the Gospell which is preached of me, is not of men. |
| 1:12 | For I nether receaued it ner lerned it of ma, but by the reuelacion of Iesus Christ. |
| 1:13 | For ye haue herde of my conuersacion afore tyme in the Ieweshippe, how that beyode measure I persecuted the cogregacion of God, and spoyled it, |
