>
3:1If ye be then rysen agayne with Chryst, seke those thynges which are aboue, where Chryst sytteth on the ryght hande of God.
3:2Set youre affeccyon on heauenly thynges, and not on erthye thynges.
3:3For ye are deed, and youre lyfe is hyd with Chryst in God.
3:4Whensoeuer Chryst (which is oure lyfe) shall shewe hym selfe, then shall ye also appeare with hym in glory.
3:5Mortifye therfore youre erthy membres: fornicacyon, vnclennes, vnnaturall lust, euyll concupiscence, and coueteousnes, which is worshyppynge of ydoles:
3:6for which thynges sake the wrath of God vseth to come on the disobedyent chyldren
3:7amonge whom ye walked somtyme, when ye lyued in them.
3:8But nowe put ye also awaye from you all soch thinges: wrath, fearnes, maliciousnes, cursed speakynge, fylthy communicacyon out of your mouth.
3:9Lye not one to another, seing that ye haue put of the olde man with hys workes,
3:10and haue put on the newe man which is renued into the knowledge & ymage of him that made hym,
3:11where is nether Gentyle nor Iewe, circumcisyon nor vncircumcisyon, Barbarous or Sythian, bonde or fre: but Christ is all in all thinges.
3:12Therfore as electe of God, holy & beloued, put on tender mercye, kyndnes, humblenes of mynde, mekenes, longe suffrynge,
3:13for bearynge one another, & forgeuynge one another, yf any man haue a quarell agaynst another: as Christ forgaue you, euen so do ye.
3:14Aboue all these thinges put on loue which is the bonde of perfectnes.
3:15And the peace of God rule in youre hertes: to the which peace ye are called in one body. And se that ye be thankfull.
3:16Let the worde of Chryst dwell in you plenteously with all wysdome. Teache and exhorte youre awne selues, in Psalmes, and hymnes, and spirituall songes syngynge with grace in youre hertes to the Lorde
3:17And whatsouer ye do (in worde or dede) do all in the name of the Lord Iesu, geuynge thankes to God the father by hym.
3:18Ye wyues, submyt youre selues vnto youre awne husbandes, as it is comly in the Lorde:
3:19Ye husbandes, loue youre wyues and be not bytter vnto them.
3:20Ye chyldren, obey youre fathers and mothers in all thinges, for that is well pleasynge vnto the Lorde.
3:21Ye fathers, prouoke not youre chyldren, lest they be of a desperate mynde.
3:22Ye seruauntes be obedient vnto them that are youre bodyly masters in all thinges: not with eye seruice as men pleasers, but in synglenes of herte, fearynge God.
3:23And whatsoeuer ye do, do it hertely, as, though ye dyd it to the Lord, and not vnto men:
3:24knowynge, that of the Lord ye shall receaue the rewarde of inheritaunce, for ye serue the Lorde Christ.
3:25But he that doth synne, shall receaue for hys synne. Nether is ther any respect of persones.

3:1Therfor if ye han risun togidere with Crist, seke ye tho thingis that ben aboue, where Crist is sittynge in the riythalf of God.
3:2Sauere ye tho thingis, that ben aboue, not tho that ben on the erthe.
3:3For ye ben deed, and youre lijf is hid with Crist in God.
3:4For whanne Crist schal appere, youre lijf, thanne also ye schulen appere with hym in glorie.
3:5Therfor sle ye youre membris, whiche ben on the erthe, fornycacioun, vnclennesse, letcherie, yuel coueitise, and aueryse, which is seruyse of mawmetis;
3:6for whiche thingis the wraththe of God cam on the sones of vnbileue;
3:7in whiche also ye walkiden sum tyme, whanne ye lyueden in hem.
3:8But now putte ye awei alle thingis, wraththe, indignacioun, malice, blasfemye and foule word of youre mouth.
3:9Nyle ye lie togidere; spuyle ye you fro the elde man with his dedes, and clothe ye the newe man,
3:10that is maad newe ayen in to the knowing of God, aftir the ymage of hym that made hym;
3:11where is not male and female, hethene man and Jew, circumcisioun and prepucie, barbarus and Scita, bonde man and fre man, but alle thingis and in alle thingis Crist.
3:12Therfor ye, as the chosun of God, hooli and louyd, clothe you with the entrailis of merci, benygnite, and mekenesse, temperaunce, pacience;
3:13and support ye echon other, and foryyue to you silf, if ony man ayens ony hath a querele; as the Lord foryaf to you, so also ye.
3:14And vpon alle these thingis haue ye charite, that is the boond of perfeccioun.

3:22Seruauntis, obeie ye bi alle thingis to fleischli lordis, not seruynge at iye, as plesynge to men, but in symplenesse of herte, dredinge the Lord.
3:23What euer ye doen, worche ye of wille, as to the Lord and not to men;
3:24witinge that of the Lord ye schulen take yelding of eritage. Serue ye to the Lord Crist.
3:25For he that doith iniurie, schal resseyue that that he dide yuele; and acceptacioun of persoones is not anentis God.

3:1Yf ye be rysen now with Christ, seke those thinges then which are aboue where Christ is, syttinge on the righte hande of God.
3:2Set youre mynde on the thinges which are aboue, not on ye thinges that are vpon earth.
3:3For ye are deed, and youre life is hyd with Christ in God.
3:4But whan Christ or life shal shewe himselfe, the shal ye also appeare with him in glory.
3:5Mortifye therfore youre mebres which are vpon earth, whordome, vnclennes, vnnaturall lust, euell concupiscece, and couetousnes, which is a worshippynge of Idols:
3:6for which thinges sakes the wrath of God commeth vpon the children of vnbeleue:
3:7in the which thinges ye walked some tyme, whan ye lyued in them.
3:8But now put all awaye fro you: wrath, fearcenesse, maliciousnes, cursed speakynge, fylthie wordes out of youre mouth.
3:9Lye not one to another. Put of ye olde ma with his workes,
3:10and put on ye newe, which is renued in knowlege after ye ymage of him that made him:
3:11where there is no Greke, Iewe, circumcision, vncircumcision, Barbarous, Sithian, bode, fre: but Christ is all and in all.
3:12Now therfore as the electe of God, holy and beloued, put on tender mercye, kyndnes, humblenes of mynde, mekenesse, longe sufferynge,

3:16Let ye worde of Christ dwell in you plenteously in all wyssdome. Teach and exhorte youre awne selues with psalmes and ymnes, and spirituall songes which haue fauoure with them, synginge in youre hertes to the LORDE.
3:17And what soeuer ye do in worde or worke, do all in the name of the LORDE Iesu, and geue thankes vnto God the father by him.
3:18Ye wyues, submytte youre selues vnto youre hussbandes, as it is comly in the LORDE.

3:24And be sure, that of the LORDE ye shal receaue the rewarde of ye enheritaunce: For ye serue the LORDE Christ.
3:25But he that doth wronge, shal receaue for the wronge that he hath done, for there is no respecte of persons (with God.)
