2 Timothy - Chapter: 3

>
3:1This know also, that in the last dayes perillous times shall come.
3:2For men shall bee louers of their owne selues, couetous, boasters, proude, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, vnthankfull, vnholy,
3:3Without naturall affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
3:4Traitours, heady, high minded, louers of pleasures more then louers of God,
3:5Hauing a forme of godlinesse, but denying the power thereof: from such turne away.
3:6For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and leade captiue silly women laden with sinnes, led away with diuers lusts,
3:7Euer learning, and neuer able to come to the knowledge of the trueth.
3:8Now as Iannes and Iambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the trueth: men of corrupt mindes, reprobate concerning the faith.
3:9But they shal proceede no further: for their folly shall be manifest vnto all men, as theirs also was.
3:10But thou hast fully knowen my doctrine, maner of life, purpose, faith, long suffering, charitie, patience,
3:11Persecutions, afflictions which came vnto me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra, what persecutions I indured: but out of them all the Lord deliuered me.
3:12Yea, and all that will liue godly in Christ Iesus, shall suffer persecution.
3:13But euill men and seducers shall waxe worse and worse, deceiuing, and being deceiued.
3:14But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned, and hast been assured of, knowing of whome thou hast learned them.
3:15And that from a childe thou hast knowen the holy Scriptures, which are able to make thee wise vnto saluation through faith which is in Christ Iesus.
3:16All Scripture is giuen by inspiration of God, & is profitable for doctrine, for reproofe, for correction, for instrution in righteousnesse,
3:17That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished vnto all good workes.

3:1Bvt this shalt thou knowe, that in the last dayes shal come parelous tymes.
3:2For there shalbe me which shal holde of the selues, couetous, boasters, proude, cursed speakers, dishobedient to their elders, vnthankfull, vngoostly,
3:3vnkynde, truce breakers, false accusers, ryatours, fearce, despysers of them which are good,
3:4traytours, heady, hye mynded, gredy vpon voluptuousnes more then the louers of God,
3:5hauynge a shyne off godly lyuynge, but denyenge the power therof. And soch avoyde.
3:6Of this sorte are they which rune fro house to house, & brynge in to bondage weme lade wt synne: which (wemen) are led with dyuerse lustes,
3:7euer lernynge, and are neuer able to come vnto the knowlege of the trueth.
3:8But like as Iamnes and Iabres withstode Moses, euen so do these also resist the trueth: me they are of corrupte myndes, and lewde as cocernynge ye faith:
3:9but they shal preuayle no longer. For their folishnes shalbe manifest vnto all men, as theirs was.
3:10But thou hast sene the experience of my doctryne, my fasshion of lyuynge, my purpose, my faith, my longsufferynge, my loue, my pacience,
3:11my persecucions, my affliccions, which happened vnto me at Antioche, at Iconium, at Lystra, which persecucions I suffred paciently, and from the all the LORDE delyuered me.
3:12Yee and all they that wil lyue godly in Christ Iesu, must suffre persecucion.
3:13But the euell men and disceauers shal waxe worse and worse, disceauynge and beynge disceaued.
3:14But contynue thou in the thinges that thou hast lerned, which also were comytted vnto the, seynge thou knowest of who thou hast learned them,
3:15And for so moch as thou hast knowne holy scripture of a childe, the same is able to make ye wyse vnto saluacion thorow the faith in Christ Iesu.
3:16For all scripture geue by inspiracion of God, is profitable to teach, to improue, to amende, and to instructe in righteousnes,
3:17that a man off God maye be perfecte, and prepared vnto all good workes.

3:1But wite thou this thing, that in the laste daies perelouse tymes schulen neiye, and men schulen be louynge hem silf,
3:2coueitouse, hiy of bering, proude, blasfemeris, not obedient to fadir and modir, vnkynde,
3:3cursid, with outen affeccioun, with out pees, false blameris, vncontynent, vnmylde,
3:4with out benygnyte, traitouris, ouerthwert, bollun with proude thouytis, blynde, loueris of lustis more than of God,
3:5hauynge the licknesse of pitee, but denyynge the vertu of it. And eschewe thou these men.
3:6Of these thei ben that persen housis, and leden wymmen caitifs chargid with synnes, whiche ben led with dyuerse desiris, euere more lernynge,
3:7and neuere perfitli comynge to the science of treuthe.
3:8And as Jannes and Mambres ayenstoden Moises, so these ayenstonden treuthe, men corrupt in vndirstonding, repreuyd aboute the feith.
3:9But ferthere thei schulen not profite, for the vnwisdom of hem schal be knowun to alle men, as hern was.
3:10But thou hast getun my teching, ordinaunce, purposing, feith, long abiding, loue,
3:11pacience, persecuciouns, passiouns, whiche weren maad to me at Antioche, at Ycony, at Listris, what maner persecucyouns Y suffride, and the Lord hath delyuered me of alle.
3:12And alle men that wolen lyue feithfuli in Crist Jhesu, schulen suffre persecucioun.
3:13But yuele men and disseyueris schulen encreese in to worse, errynge, and sendinge in to errour.
3:14But dwelle thou in these thingis that thou hast lerud, and that ben bitakun to thee, witinge of whom thou hast lerud;
3:15for thou hast knowun hooli lettris fro thi youthe, whiche moun lerne thee to heelthe, bi feith that is in Crist Jhesu.
3:16For al scripture inspirid of God is profitable to teche, to repreue, to chastice, to lerne in riytwisnes,
3:17the man of God be parfit, lerud to al good werk.
