Titus - Chapter: 3

>
3:1Remind them to be subject to principalities and authorities, to obey rule, unto every good work to be ready,
3:2of no one to speak evil, not to be quarrelsome -- gentle, showing all meekness to all men,
3:3for we were once -- also we -- thoughtless, disobedient, led astray, serving desires and pleasures manifold, in malice and envy living, odious -- hating one another;
3:4and when the kindness and the love to men of God our Saviour did appear
3:5(not by works that `are' in righteousness that we did but according to His kindness,) He did save us, through a bathing of regeneration, and a renewing of the Holy Spirit,
3:6which He poured upon us richly, through Jesus Christ our Saviour,
3:7that having been declared righteous by His grace, heirs we may become according to the hope of life age-during.
3:8Stedfast `is' the word; and concerning these things I counsel thee to affirm fully, that they may be thoughtful, to be leading in good works -- who have believed God; these are the good and profitable things to men,
3:9and foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about law, stand away from -- for they are unprofitable and vain.
3:10A sectarian man, after a first and second admonition be rejecting,
3:11having known that he hath been subverted who `is' such, and doth sin, being self-condemned.
3:12When I shall send Artemas unto thee, or Tychicus, be diligent to come unto me to Nicopolis, for there to winter I have determined.
3:13Zenas the lawyer and Apollos bring diligently on their way, that nothing to them may be lacking,
3:14and let them learn -- ours also -- to be leading in good works to the necessary uses, that they may not be unfruitful.
3:15Salute thee do all those with me; salute those loving us in faith; the grace `is' with you all!

3:1Warne the that they submitte them selves to rule and power to obey the officers that they be readie vnto all good workes
3:2that they speake evyll of no ma that they be no fyghters but softe shewynge all meknes vnto all men.
3:3For we oure selves also were in tymes past vnwyse disobedient deceaved in daunger to lustes and to diuers maners of volupteousnes livynge in maliciousnes and envie full of hate hatinge one another.
3:4But after that the kyndnes and love of oure saveoure God to mawarde appered
3:5not of ye dedes of rightewesnes which we wrought but of his mercie he saved vs by ye foutayne of the newe birth and with the renuynge of the holy goost
3:6which he shed on vs aboundantly thorow Iesus Christ oure saveoure
3:7that we once iustified by his grace shuld be heyres of eternall lyfe thorowe hope
3:8This is a true sayinge. Of these thinges I wolde thou shuldest certifie that they which beleve God myght be diligent to go forwarde in good workes. These thinges are good and proffitable vnto me.
3:9Folisshe questions and genealogies and braulinges and stryfe aboute the lawe avoyde for they are vnproffitable and superfluous.
3:10A ma that is geue to heresie after the fyrst and the seconde admonicion avoyde
3:11remembrynge that he that is soche is perverted and synneth even damned by his awne iudgement.
3:12When I shall sende Artemas vnto the or Tichicus be diliget to come to me vnto Nichopolis. For I have determined ther to wynter.
3:13Brynge zenas ye lawear and Apollos on their iorney diligently that nothynge be lackynge vnto them.
3:14And let oures olso learne to excell in good workes as farforth as nede requyreth that they be not vnfrutefull.
3:15All that are with me salute the. Grete them that love vs in the fayth. Grace be with you all Amen.

3:1Warne them that they submytte them selues vnto Prynces and to the hyer auctorite, to obey the officers, to be ready vnto all good workes,
3:2that they speake euell of no man, that they be no stryuers, but soft, shewynge all mekenes vnto all men.
3:3For we oure selues also were in tymes past, vnwyse, dishobedient, in erroure, seruynge lustes and dyuerse maners of voluptuousnes, lyuynge in maliciousnes and envye, full of hate, hatynge one another.
3:4But after that ye kyndnesse and loue of God oure Sauioure to man warde appeared,
3:5not for ye dedes of righteousnes which we wroughte, but after his mercy he saued vs by the fountayne of the new byrth, and renuynge of the holy goost,
3:6which he shed on vs abundauntly, thorow Iesus Christ oure Sauioure:
3:7yt we beynge made righteous by his grace, shulde be heyres of eternall life acordynge to hope.
3:8This is a true sayege. Of these thinges wolde I that thou shuldest speake earnestly, that they which are become beleuers in God, might be diligent to excell in good workes: for these thinges are good and profitable vnto me.
3:9As for folish questions, and genealogies, and braulynges and stryuynges aboute ye lawe, auoyde the, for they are vnprofitable and vayne.
3:10A ma that is geuen vnto heresye, after ye first and seconde monicion, auoyde,
3:11and knowe, that he that is soch, is peruerted, & synneth euen damned by his awne iudgment.
3:12Whan I shal sende Artemas or Tichicus vnto ye, make spede to come to me vnto Nicopolis, for I haue determyned there to wynter.
3:13Brynge Zenas ye Scrybe and Apollos on their iourney diligently, that nothinge be lackynge vnto them.
3:14And let oures also learne to excell in good workes, as farre forth as nede requyreth, that they be not vnfrutefull.
3:15All they that are with me, salute the. Grete them that loue vs in the faith. Grace be with you all, Amen.
