| 1:1 | In the firste yere of Cyrus kynge of Persia (that the word of the Lord spoken by the mouth of Ieremy might be fulfilled) the Lord stered vp the spret of Cyrus kynge of Persia, that he caused to be proclaymed thorow out all hys empire, & to be wryten, saying: |
| 1:2 | Thus sayth Cirus the kynge of Persia: The Lorde God of heauen hath geuen me all the kyngdomes of the earth, and hath commaunded me to buylde hym an house at Ierusalem which is in Iuda. |
| 1:3 | Whosoeuer now among you is of his people, the Lorde his God be with hym, and let him go vp to Ierusalem in Iuda, & builde the house of the Lorde God of Israell. He is the God that is at Ierusalem. |
| 1:4 | And whosouer remayneth yet in eny maner of place (where he is a straunger) let the men of that place helpe hym wt syluer and golde, with good & catell, besyde that which they wyllyngly offer, for the house of God that is at Ierusalem. |
| 1:5 | Then gat vp the principal fathers of Iuda and Beniamin, & the prestes & leuites, and all they whose sprete God had raysed to go vp, & to buylde the house of the Lord, which is at Ierusalem. |
| 1:6 | And al they that were about them strengthed their hand, wt vessels of syluer, & golde, with good and catell, & Iewels: in so moch that euery one shewed hym selfe liberall. |
| 1:7 | And kyng Cyrus brought forth the vessels of the house of the Lord, which Nabuchodonosor had taken out of Ierusalem, and had put in the house of his God. |
| 1:8 | Those dyd Cyrus the kyng of Persia bryng forth by the hande of Mithridates the treasurer, and nombred them vnto Sesbazar the prince of Iuda. |

| 1:3 | Who is among you of al his puple? his God be with hym; stie he in to Jerusalem, which is in Judee, and bilde he the hows of the Lord God of Israel; he is God, which is in Jerusalem. |
| 1:4 | And alle othere men, `that dwellen where euere in alle places, helpe hym; the men of her place helpe in siluer, and gold, and catel, and scheep, outakun that that thei offren wilfulli to the temple of God, which is in Jerusalem. |
| 1:5 | And the princis of fadris of Juda and of Beniamyn risiden, and the preestis, and dekenes, and ech man whos spirit God reiside, for to stie to bilde the temple of the Lord, that was in Jerusalem. |
| 1:6 | And alle men that weren `in cumpas helpiden the hondis of hem, in vesselis of siluer, and of gold, `in catel, in purtenaunce of houshold, and in alle werk beestis, outakun these thingis which thei offriden bi fre wille. |

| 1:11 | alle the vessels of gold and siluere weren fyue thousynde foure hundrid. Sasabazar took alle vessels, with hem that stieden fro the transmygracioun of Babiloyne, in to Jerusalem. |

| 1:5 | Then gat vp the pryncipall fathers of Iuda and Ben Iamin, and the prestes and Leuites, and all they whose sprete God had raysed to go vp, and to buylde the house of the LORDE at Ierusale. |
| 1:6 | And all they that were aboute them, strengthed their hande with vessels of syluer and golde, with good and catell, and Iewels, besydes that which they gane of their awne frewill. |
| 1:7 | And kynge Cyrus brought forth the vessels of the LORDES house, which Nabuchodonosor had take out of Ierusalem, and put in his gods house. |
| 1:8 | But Cyrus ye kynge of Persia brought the forth by Mithredath the treasurer, and nombred the vnto Se?bazar the prynce of Iuda. |
| 1:9 | And this is the nombre of them: thirtye basens of golde, and a thousande basens of syluer, and nyne and twentye knyues, |
| 1:10 | thirtye cuppes of golde, and of other syluer cuppes foure hundreth and ten, and of other vessels a thousande. |
| 1:11 | So that all the vessels both of golde and syluer, were fyue thousande and foure hundreth. Se?bazar broughte them all vp, with them that came vp out of the captiuyte off Babilon vnto Ierusalem. |
