28:1	The title of the eiyt and twentithe salm. The salm, ethir song of Dauid. Ye sones of God, brynge to the Lord; brynge ye to the Lord the sones of rammes.
28:2	Brynge ye to the Lord glorie and onour; brynge ye to the Lord glorie to his name; herie ye the Lord in his hooli large place.
28:3	The vois of the Lord on watris, God of mageste thundride; the Lord on many watris.
28:4	The vois of the Lord in vertu; the vois of the Lord in greet doyng.
28:5	The vois of the Lord brekynge cedris; and the Lord schal breke the cedris of the Liban.
28:6	And he schal al to-breke hem to dust as a calf of the Liban; and the derling was as the sone of an vnycorn.
28:7	The vois of the Lord departynge the flawme of fier;
28:8	the vois of the Lord schakynge desert; and the Lord schal stire togidere the desert of Cades.
28:9	The vois of the Lord makynge redi hertis, and he schal schewe thicke thingis; and in his temple alle men schulen seie glorie.


28:1	A Psalme of David. Unto thee, O Lord, doe I crie: O my strength, be not deafe toward mee, lest, if thou answere me not, I be like them that goe downe into the pit.
28:2	Heare the voyce of my petitions, when I crie vnto thee, when I holde vp mine handes towarde thine holy Oracle.
28:3	Drawe mee not away with the wicked, and with the woorkers of iniquitie: which speake friendly to their neighbours, when malice is in their hearts.
28:4	Reward them according to their deedes, and according to the wickednes of their inuentions: recompense them after the woorke of their handes: render them their reward.
28:5	For they regarde not the woorkes of the Lord, nor the operation of his handes: therefore breake them downe, and builde them not vp.
28:6	Praised be the Lord, for he hath heard the voyce of my petitions.
28:7	The Lord is my strength and my shielde: mine heart trusted in him, and I was helped: therfore mine heart shall reioyce, and with my song will I praise him.
28:8	The Lord is their strength, and he is the strength of the deliuerances of his anointed.
28:9	Saue thy people, and blesse thine inheritance: feede them also, and exalt them for euer.
