29:1A Psalme of Dauid Brynge vnto the Lorde (O ye myghtie) ascribe vnto the Lorde worshyppe & strengthe.
29:2Geue the Lorde the honoure due vnto his name: worshyppe the Lorde with holy worshippe.
29:3It is the Lorde that commaundeth the waters: It is the glorious God that maketh the thonder:
29:4it is the Lorde that ruleth the see.
29:5The voyce of the Lorde is myghtie in operacion, the voyce of the Lorde is a glorious voyce.
29:6The voyce of the Lorde breaketh the. Cedre trees: yee, the Lorde breaketh the Ceders of Libanus.
29:7He made them also so skyppe lyke a Calfe: Libanus also, and Syrion lyke a younge vnycorne.
29:8The voyce of the Lorde deuydeth the flames of fyre: the voyce of the Lorde, shaketh the wyldernesse, ye the Lorde shaketh the wildernesse of Cades.
29:9The voyce of the Lorde maketh the hyndes to brynge forth younge & discouereth the thicke bushes: in his temple doth euery man speake of his honoure.
29:10The Lorde sytteth aboue the water floude, & the Lorde remayneth a kynge for euer.
29:11The Lorde shall geue strength vnto his people, the Lorde shall geue his people the blessynge of peace.

 

29:1The title of the nyne and twentithe salm. The salm of song, for the halewyng of the hows of Dauid.
29:2Lord, Y schal enhaunse thee, for thou hast vp take me; and thou delitidist not myn enemyes on me.
29:3Mi Lord God, Y criede to thee; and thou madist me hool.
29:4Lord, thou leddist out my soule fro helle; thou sauedist me fro hem that goen doun into the lake.
29:5Ye seyntis of the Lord, synge to the Lord; and knowleche ye to the mynde of his hoolynesse.
29:6For ire is in his indignacioun; and lijf is in his wille. Wepyng schal dwelle at euentid; and gladnesse at the morewtid.
29:7Forsothe Y seide in my plentee; Y schal not be moued with outen ende.
29:8Lord, in thi wille; thou hast youe vertu to my fairnesse. Thou turnedist awei thi face fro me; and Y am maad disturblid.
29:9Lord, Y schal crye to thee; and Y schal preye to my God.
29:10What profit is in my blood; while Y go doun in to corrupcioun? Whether dust schal knouleche to thee; ethir schal telle thi treuthe?
29:11The Lord herde, and hadde merci on me; the Lord is maad myn helpere.

29:2Geue the LORDE the honoure of his name, bowe youre selues to the holy magesty of the LORDE
29:3It is the LORDE that commaundeth the waters: It is the glorious God that maketh ye thonder:
29:4it is the LORDE yt ruleth the see.
29:5The voyce of the LORDE is mightie in operacion, the voyce of the LORDE is a glorious voyce
29:6The voyce of the LORDE breaketh the Cedre trees: yee the LORDE breaketh the Ceders of Libanus.
29:7He maketh them to skippe like a calfe: Libanus and Sirion like a yonge vnycorne.
29:8The voyce of the LORDE deuideth the flames of fyre: the voyce of the LORDE shaketh the wildernesse, yee the LORDE shaketh the wildernesse of Cades.
29:9The voyce of the LORDE moueth ye hyndes & discouereth the thicke bu?shes: in his temple shal euery man speake of his honoure.
29:10The LORDE stilleth the water floude, & ye LORDE remayneth a kynge for euer.
29:11The LORDE shall geue power vnto his people, the LORDE shal geue his people the blessynge of peace.
