Psalms - Chapter: 36

>
36:1[To the chiefe musician, A Psalme of Dauid, the seruant of the Lord.] The transgression of the wicked saith within my heart, that there is no feare of God before his eyes.
36:2For he flatterech himselfe in his owne eyes, vntill his iniquitie be found to be hatefull.
36:3The words of his mouth are iniquitie and deceit: he hath left off to bee wise, and to doe good.
36:4Hee deuiseth mischiefe vpon his bed, he setteth himselfe in a way that is not good; he abhorreth not euill.
36:5Thy mercie (O Lord) is in the heauens; and thy faithfulnesse reacheth vnto the cloudes.
36:6Thy righteousnesse is like the great mountaines; thy iudgements are a great deepe; O Lord, thou preseruest man and beast.
36:7How excellent is thy louing kindnesse, O God! therefore the children of men put their trust vnder the shadowe of thy wings.
36:8They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatnesse of thy house: and thou shalt make them drinke of the riuer of thy pleasures.
36:9For with thee is the fountaine of life: in thy light shall we see light.
36:10O continue thy louing kindnesse vnto them that know thee; and thy righteousnesse to the vpright in heart.
36:11Let not the foot of pride come against me, and let not the hand of the wicked remoue me.
36:12There are the workers of iniquitie fallen: they are cast downe, and shal not be able to rise.

36:1To him that excelleth. A Psalme of Dauid, the servant of the Lord. Wickedness sayeth to the wicked man, euen in mine heart, that there is no feare of God before his eyes.
36:2For hee flattereth himselfe in his owne eyes, while his iniquitie is foud worthy to be hated.
36:3The wordes of his mouth are iniquitie and deceit: hee hath left off to vnderstand and to doe good.
36:4Hee imagineth mischiefe vpon his bed: he setteth himselfe vpon a way, that is not good, and doeth not abhorre euill.
36:5Thy mercy, O Lord, reacheth vnto the heauens, and thy faithfulnesse vnto the cloudes.
36:6Thy righteousnesse is like the mightie moutaines: thy iudgements are like a great deepe: thou, Lord, doest saue man and beast.
36:7How excellent is thy mercy, O God! therefore the children of men trust vnder the shadowe of thy wings.
36:8They shall be satisfied with the fatnesse of thine house, and thou shalt giue them drinke out of the riuer of thy pleasures.
36:9For with thee is the well of life, and in thy light shall we see light.
36:10Extend thy louing kindnes vnto them that knowe thee, and thy righteousnesse vnto them that are vpright in heart.
36:11Let not ye foote of pride come against me, and let not the hand of ye wicked men moue me.
36:12There they are fallen that worke iniquity: they are cast downe, and shall not be able to rise.

36:1To the Chaunter, of Dauid the seruaunt of the Lorde. My hert sheweth me the wyckednesse of the vngodly, that there is no feare of God before hys eyes.
36:2For he flatreth hym selfe in hys owne syght, tyll hys abhominable synne be founde out.
36:3The wordes of hys mouth are vnryghteous, and full of disceate: he hath left of to behaue hym selfe wysely and to do good.
36:4He ymagyneth myschefe vpon hys bedd, and hath set hym selfe in no good waye, nether doth he abhore any thyng that is euell.
36:5Thy mercy, O Lorde reacheth vnto the heauen, and thy faythfulnesse vnto the cloudes.
36:6Thy ryghteousnesse standeth lyke the stronge mountaynes: thy iudgementes are lyke the greate depe.
36:7Thou Lorde shalt saue both man and beest. Howe excellent is thy mercy, O God? and the chyldren of men shall put theyr trust vnder the shadowe of thy wynges.
36:8They shalbe satisfyed with the plenteousnesse of thy house, and thou shalt geue them dryncke of thy pleasures, as out of the ryuer.
36:9For with the is the well of lyfe, and in thy lyght, shall we se lyght.
36:10O contynue forth thy louynge kyndnesse vnto them that knowe the, and thy ryghteousnesse vnto them that are true of hert.
36:11O let not the fote of pryde come agaynst me: and let not the hande of the vngodly cast me downe.
36:12There are they fallen that worke wyckednesse: they are cast downe, and shall: not be able to stande.
