| 53:1 | To the chaunter vpon Mahalath, an instruccyon of Dauid. The foolysh bodye hath sayed in hys hert: there is no God. Corrupte are they, & become abhomynable in theyr wickednesse: there is none that doth good. |

| 53:5 | For aliens han rise ayens me, and stronge men souyten my lijf; and thei settiden not God bifor her siyt. |
| 53:6 | For, lo! God helpith me; and the Lord is vptaker of my soule. |
