| 62:1 | To the chaunter, For Ieduthun: a psalme of Dauid. My soule truly wayteth styll vpon God, for of him cometh my saluacion. |
| 62:2 | He verely is my strength, and my saluacion: He is my defence, so that I shall not greatly fall. |
| 62:3 | How longe will ye ymagin mischefe against euery man? ye shalbe slayne all the sorte of you: yee, as a tottring wall shall ye be, and lyke a broken hedge. |
| 62:4 | Their deuyce is onely how to put him out whom God wyll exalte. their delyte is in lyes: they geue good wordes wt their mouth, but curse wt their hert. Sela. |
| 62:5 | Neuertheles, my soule wayte thou styll vpon God, for my hope is in hym. |

| 62:10 | O trust not in wrong and robbery, geue not your selues vnto vanyte: yf riches encrease, set not your hert vpon them. |
| 62:11 | God spake once and twyse: I haue also herde the same: that power belongeth vnto God. |
| 62:12 | And that thou Lorde art mercyfull: for thou rewardest euery man accordynge to hys worcke. |

| 62:3 | In a lond forsakun with out wei, and with out water, so Y apperide to thee in hooli; that Y schulde se thi vertu, and thi glorie. |
| 62:4 | For thi merci is betere than lyues; my lippis schulen herie thee. |
| 62:5 | So Y schal blesse thee in my lijf; and in thi name Y schal reise myn hondis. |
| 62:6 | Mi soule be fillid as with inner fatnesse and vttermere fatnesse; and my mouth schal herie with lippis of ful out ioiyng. |
| 62:7 | So Y hadde mynde on thee on my bed, in morewtidis Y shal thenke of thee; |
| 62:8 | for thou were myn helpere. And in the keueryng of thi wyngis Y schal make `ful out ioye, my soule cleuede after thee; |
| 62:9 | thi riythond took me vp. |
| 62:10 | Forsothe thei souyten in veyn my lijf, thei schulen entre in to the lower thingis of erthe; |
| 62:11 | thei schulen be bitakun in to the hondis of swerd, thei schulen be maad the partis of foxis. |
| 62:12 | But the king schal be glad in God; and alle men schulen be preysid that sweren in hym, for the mouth of hem, that speken wickid thingis, is stoppid. |

| 62:10 | O trust not in wronge & robbery, geue not yor selues vnto vanite: yf riches increase, set not yor herte vpon them. |
| 62:11 | God spake once a worde, twyse haue I herde the same: that power belongeth vnto God. |
| 62:12 | That thou LORDE art mercifull, & that thou rewardest euery man acordinge to his workes. |
