| 72:1 | [A Psalme for Solomon.] Giue the King thy Iudgements, O God, and thy Righteousnesse vnto the Kings sonne. |
| 72:2 | Hee shall iudge thy people with righteousnesse, and thy poore with iudgement. |
| 72:3 | The mountaines shal bring peace to the people, and the litle hils, by righteousnesse. |
| 72:4 | Hee shall iudge the poore of the people, he shall saue the children of the needie, and shall breake in pieces the oppressour. |
| 72:5 | They shall feare thee as long as the Sunne & Moone indure, throughout all generations. |
| 72:6 | Hee shall come downe like raine vpon the mowen grasse: as showres that water the earth. |
| 72:7 | In his dayes shall the righteous flourish: and abundance of peace so long as the Moone endureth. |
| 72:8 | He shall haue dominion also from sea to sea, and from the riuer, vnto the ends of the earth. |
| 72:9 | They that dwell in the wildernesse shall bowe before him: and his enemies shall licke the dust. |
| 72:10 | The kings of Tarshish and of the Isles shall bring presents: the Kings of Sheba and Seba shall offer gifts. |
| 72:11 | Yea, all Kings shall fall downe before him: all nations shall serue him. |
| 72:12 | For hee shall deliuer the needy when he crieth: the poore also, and him that hath no helper. |
| 72:13 | He shal spare the poore and needy, and shall saue the soules of the needy. |
| 72:14 | He shall redeeme their soule from deceit and violence: and precious shall their blood be in his sight. |
| 72:15 | And he shall liue, and to him shalbe giuen of the gold of Sheba; prayer also shalbe made for him continually, and daily shall he be praised. |
| 72:16 | There shalbe an handfull of corne in the earth vpon the top of the mountaines; the fruit thereof shall shake like Lebanon, and they of the citie shall flourish like grasse of the earth. |
| 72:17 | His name shall endure for euer: his name shalbe continued as long as the sunne: and men shalbe blessed in him; all nations shall call him blessed. |
| 72:18 | Blessed be the Lord God, the God of Israel, who only doth wonderous things. |
| 72:19 | And blessed be his glorious name for euer, and let the whole earth be filled with his glory. Amen, and Amen. |

| 72:13 | He shalbe mercifull to the poore and needie, and shall preserue the soules of the poore. |
| 72:14 | He shall redeeme their soules from deceite and violence, and deare shall their blood be in his sight. |
| 72:15 | Yea, he shall liue, and vnto him shall they giue of the golde of Sheba: they shall also pray for him continually, and dayly blesse him. |
| 72:16 | An handfull of corne shall be sowen in the earth, euen in the toppe of the mountaines, and the fruite thereof shall shake like the trees of Lebanon: and the children shall florish out of the citie like the grasse of the earth. |
| 72:17 | His name shall be for euer: his name shall indure as long as the sunne: all nations shall blesse him, and be blessed in him. |
| 72:18 | Blessed be the Lord God, euen the God of Israel, which onely doeth wonderous things. |

| 72:1 | For Salomon. Geue the kynge thy iudgementes (O God) and thy righteousnesse vnto the kynges sonne. |

| 72:7 | In his tyme shall the ryghteous florish, yee, and aboundaunce of peace, so longe as the mone endureth, |
| 72:8 | His dominion shalbe also from the one see to the other, and from the floud vnto the worldes ende. |
| 72:9 | They that dwell in the wildernes shall knele before him, his enemies shall licke the dust. |
| 72:10 | The kynges of Tharsis and of the Iles shall geue presentes, the kynges of Araby and Saba shall bring gyftes. |
| 72:11 | All kinges shal fall downe before him: all nacions shall do him seruice. |
| 72:12 | For he shall delyuer the poore when he cryeth: the neady also and him that hath no helper. |
| 72:13 | He shalbe fauorable to the simple and neady: and shall preserue the soules of the poore. |
| 72:14 | He shall delyuer their soules from falshede and wronge, and deare shall theyr bloud be in his syght. |
| 72:15 | He shall lyue, & vnto him shalbe geuen of the golde of Arabia: Prayer shalbe made euer vnto him, and daylie shall he be praysed. |
| 72:16 | There shalbe an heape of corne in the earth hye vpon the hylles, his frute shall shake lyke Libanus, and shalbe grene in the cite, like grasse vpon the earth. |
| 72:17 | His name shall endure for euer, his name shall remayne vnder the sunne amonge the posterites, which shalbe blessed thorow him, and all the Heathen shall prayse him |
