>
94:1O lord God to whome vengeaunce belongeth: thou God to whome vengeaunce belongeth, shewe thy selfe.
94:2Aryse thou iudge of the worlde, and rewarde the proude after theyr deseruynge.
94:3Lord how longe shall the vngodly, how longe shall the vngodly triumphe?
94:4Howe longe shall all wicked doers speake so disdaynfully, & make soch proude boasting?
94:5They smyte down thy people, O Lorde, and trouble thyne heritage.
94:6They murthur the wyddow and the straunger, and put the fatherlesse to death.
94:7And yet they saye. Tush the Lorde shal not se, nether shall the God of Iacob regard it.
94:8Take hede, ye vnwyse amonge the people, O ye fooles, whan will ye vnderstande?
94:9He that planted the eare, shall he not heare? Or he that made the eye, shall not he se?
94:10Or he that nurtureth the heathen, it is he that teacheth man knowlege, shal not he punysh?
94:11The Lorde knoweth the thoughtes of man, that they are but vayne.
94:12Blessed is the man, whome thou chastenest (O Lorde) & teachest hym in thy lawe.
94:13That thou mayest geue hym pacience in tyme of aduersitie, vntyll the pyt be dygged vp for the vngodly.
94:14For the Lorde will not fayle hys people, nether will he forsake his inheritaunce.
94:15Untill righteousnes turne agayne vnto iudgement all soch as be true of hert shall folow it.
94:16Who will ryse vp wt me agaynst the wicked? Or who will take my part agaynst the euell doers?
94:17If the Lord had not helped me it had not failed, but my soule had bene put to sylence.
94:18But when I sayd: my fote hath slipped, thy mercy (O Lord) helde me vp.
94:19In the multitude of the sorowes that I had in my herte thy comfortes haue refreshed my soule.
94:20Wilt thou haue any thynge to do with the stoole of wickednesse, whiche ymagineth mischefe as a lawe?
94:21They gather them together agaynste the soule of the righteous, and condemne the innocent bloude
94:22But the Lord is my refuge, & my God is the strength of my confidence.
94:23He shall recompence them their wickednes and destroye them in their owne malice, yee the Lorde our God shall destroye them.

94:2Bifore ocupie we his face in knowleching; and hertli synge we to him in salmes.
94:3For God is a greet Lord, and a greet king aboue alle goddis; for the Lord schal not putte awei his puple.
94:4For alle the endis of erthe ben in his hond; and the hiynesses of hillis ben hise.
94:5For the see is his, and he made it; and hise hondis formeden the drie lond.
94:6Come ye, herie we, and falle we doun bifore God, wepe we bifore the Lord that made vs;

94:9As in the terryng to wraththe; bi the dai of temptacioun in desert. Where youre fadris temptiden me; thei preueden and sien my werkis.
94:10Fourti yeer I was offendid to this generacioun; and Y seide, Euere thei erren in herte.
94:11And these men knewen not my weies; to whiche Y swoor in myn ire, thei schulen not entre in to my reste.
