Psalms - Chapter: 98

98:1A Psalme. O synge vnto the Lord a new songe, for he hath done maruelous thynges.
98:2With hys awne ryght hande and wyth his holy arme hath he gotten hym selfe the victory.
98:3The Lord declared hys saluacyon, his ryghteousnes hath he openly shewed in the syght of the Heathen.
98:4He hath remembred hys mercy and trueth towarde the house of Israel: and all the endes of the worlde haue sene the saluacyon of oure God.
98:5Shewe youre selues ioyfull vnto the Lorde all ye landes, synge, reioyse, and geue thankes.
98:6Prayse the Lorde vpon the harpe, synge to the harpe wyth a psalme of thanckesgeuyng.
98:7With trompettes also and shawmes: O shewe youre selues ioyfull before the Lorde the kynge.
98:8Let the see make a noyse and all that therin is, the rounde worlde, and they that dwell therin.
98:9Let the floudes clappe their handes, and let the hylles be ioyfull together. Before the Lord, for he is come to iudge the earth. Wyth ryghteousnes shall he iudge the worlde, & the people with equite.

 

98:1The eiyte and nyntithe salm. The Lord hath regned, puplis ben wrooth; thou that sittist on cherubyn, the erthe be moued.
98:2The Lord is greet in Sion; and hiy aboue alle puplis.
98:3Knouleche thei to thi greet name, for it is ferdful and hooli;
98:4and the onour of the king loueth doom. Thou hast maad redi dressyngis; thou hast maad doom and riytfulnesse in Jacob.
98:5Enhaunse ye oure Lord God; and worschipe ye the stool of hise feet, for it is hooli.
98:6Moises and Aaron weren among hise preestis; and Samuel was among hem that inwardli clepen his name. Thei inwardli clepiden the Lord, and he herde hem;
98:7in a piler of cloude he spak to hem. Thei kepten hise witnessyngis; and the comaundement which he yaf to hem.
98:8Oure Lord God, thou herdist hem; God, thou were merciful to hem, and thou tokist veniaunce on al her fyndyngis.
98:9Enhaunse ye oure Lord God, and worschipe ye in his hooli hil; for oure Lord God is hooli.

98:3The LORDE hath declared his sauynge health, and his rightuousnes hath he openly shewed in the sight of the Heithe.
98:4He hath remembred his mercy and trueth towarde the house of Israel: so that all the endes of the worlde se the sauynge health of oure God.
98:5Shewe youre self ioyfull vnto the LORDE all ye londes, synge, reioyse and geue thankes.
98:6Prayse the LORDE vpon the harpe, synge to the harpe with a psalme of thankesgeuynge.
98:7With trompettes also & shawmes: O shewe youre selues ioyfull before the LORDE the kynge.
98:8Let the see make a noyse and all yt therin is, yee the whole worlde & all that dwell therin.
98:9Let the floudes clappe their hondes, and let all the hilles be ioyfull together. Before the LORDE, for he is come to iudge the earth. Yee with rightuousnes shall he iudge the worlde, and the people with equite.
