103:1Of Dauid. Prayse the Lord, O my soule, and all that is wtin me prayse his holy name.
103:2Prayse the Lorde, O my soule, and forget not all hys benefytes.
103:3Whych forgeueth all thy synne, & healeth all thyn infirmities.
103:4Which saueth thy lyfe from destruccyon, and crowneth the with mercy and louynge kyndnesse.
103:5Whych satisfyeth thy mouth wyth good thynges, makyng the yonge and lusty as an Aegle.
103:6The Lorde executeth ryghteousnesse and iudgment, for all them that are oppressed with wronge.
103:7He shewed hys wayes vnto Moses, hys worckes vnto the chyldren of Israel.
103:8The Lord is full of compassyon & mercy, longe sufferyng, and of great goodnesse.
103:9He will not allwaye be chydynge, nether kepeth he his anger for euer.
103:10He hath not dealt with vs after oure synnes, ner rewarded vs according to oure wyckednesses.
103:11For loke how hye the heauen is in comparison of the earth, so greate is hys mercy also towarde them that feare him.
103:12Loke how wyde also the east is from the west, so farre hath he set oure synnes from vs.
103:13Yee like as a father pitieth his awne children, euen so is the Lorde mercyfull vnto them that feare him.
103:14For he knoweth wherof we be made, he remembreth that we are but dust.
103:15The dayes of man are but as grasse, for he florisheth as a floure of the felde.
103:16For as soone as the wynde goeth ouer it, it is gone, and the place therof shall knowe it nomore.
103:17But the mercyful goodnesse of the Lorde endureth for euer & euer, vpon them that feare him, & hys ryghteousnesse vpon chylders chyldren.
103:18Euen vpon soch as kepe his couenaunt, & thincke vpon hys commaundementes to do them.
103:19The Lord hath prepared hys seate in heauen, and kis kyngdome ruleth ouer all.
103:20O prayse the Lorde ye angels of his, ye that excell in strength: ye that fulfyll his commaundement, & herken vnto the voyce of his wordes.
103:21O prayse the Lord all ye his Hostes, ye seruauntes of his, that do his pleasure.
103:22O speake good of the Lord all ye workes of his, in all places of his dominion: prayse thou the Lorde, O my soule.

 

103:1The hundrid and thridde salm. Mi soule, blesse thou the Lord; my Lord God, thou art magnyfied greetli. Thou hast clothid knouleching and fairnesse; and thou art clothid with liyt,
103:2as with a cloth. And thou stretchist forth heuene as a skyn;
103:3and thou hilist with watris the hiyer partis therof. Which settist a cloude thi stiyng; which goest on the fetheris of wyndis.
103:4Which makist spiritis thin aungels; and thi mynystris brennynge fier.
103:5Which hast foundid the erthe on his stablenesse; it schal not be bowid in to the world of world.
103:6The depthe of watris as a cloth is the clothing therof; watris schulen stonde on hillis.
103:7Tho schulen fle fro thi blamyng; men schulen be aferd of the vois of thi thundur.
103:8Hillis stien vp, and feeldis goen doun; in to the place which thou hast foundid to tho.
103:9Thou hast set a terme, which tho schulen not passe; nether tho schulen be turned, for to hile the erthe.
103:10And thou sendist out wellis in grete valeis; watris schulen passe bitwix the myddil of hillis.
103:11Alle the beestis of the feeld schulen drynke; wielde assis schulen abide in her thirst.
103:12Briddis of the eir schulen dwelle on tho; fro the myddis of stoonys thei schulen yyue voices.
103:13And thou moistist hillis of her hiyer thingis; the erthe schal be fillid of the fruyt of thi werkis.
103:14And thou bringist forth hei to beestis; and eerbe to the seruyce of men. That thou bringe forth breed of the erthe;
103:15and that wiyn make glad the herte of men. That he make glad the face with oile; and that breed make stidefast the herte of man.
103:16The trees of the feeld schulen be fillid, and the cedris of the Liban, whiche he plauntide;
103:17sparewis schulen make nest there. The hous of the gerfaukun is the leeder of tho;
103:18hiye hillis ben refute to hertis; a stoon is refutt to irchouns.
103:19He made the moone in to tymes; the sunne knewe his goyng doun.
103:20Thou hast set derknessis, and nyyt is maad; alle beestis of the wode schulen go ther ynne.
103:21Liouns whelpis rorynge for to rauysche; and to seke of God meete to hem silf.
103:22The sunne is risun, and tho ben gaderid togidere; and tho schulen be set in her couchis.

103:18Soch as kepe his couenaunt, and thinke vpon his commaundementes to do them.
103:19The LORDE hath prepared his seate in heaue, and his kyngdome ruleth ouer all.
103:20O prayse the LORDE ye angels of his, ye that be mightie instregth, fulfillinge his commaundement, that me maye heare the voyce of his wordes.
103:21O prayse the LORDE all ye his hoostes, ye seruauntes of his, that do his pleasure.
103:22O speake good of the LORDE all ye workes of his, in euery place of his dominion: prayse thou the LORDE, o my soule.
