| 62:1 | For Sions sake therfore wyll I not holde my tunge, and for Ierusalems sake I will not ceasse: vntyll their righteousnes breake forth as the shynynge lyght, and their saluacyon as a burnynge lampe. |
| 62:2 | Then shall the Gentiles se thy ryghteousnes, and all kynges thy glory. Thou shalt be named with a newe name, which the mouth of the Lord shall shewe. |
| 62:3 | Thou shalt be a crowne in the hande of the Lorde, and a gloryous garlande in the hande of thy God. |
| 62:4 | From thys tyme forth thou shalt neuer be called the forsaken, and thy lande shall nomore be called the wildernesse. But thou shalt be called: My pleasure is in her, & thy lande shalbe called: the maryed woman: for the Lord loueth the, & thy lande shalbe ioyned in mariage. |
| 62:5 | And lyke as a yonge man taketh a daughter to mariage, so shall thy sonnes be maryed vnto the. And as a bryde grome is glad of hys bryde, so shall thy God reioyse ouer the. |
| 62:6 | I haue set watchmen vpon thy walles (O Ierusalem) which shall nether ceasse daye nor night to preache the Lorde. And ye also that remembre the Lorde ye shall not kepe him close, |
| 62:7 | nor leaue to speake of him, vntyll Ierusalem be sett vp, & made the prayse of the worlde. |
| 62:8 | The Lord hath sworne by his right hande & by his stronge arme, that from hence forth he wyll not geue thy corne to be meate for thyne enemyes, ner thy vyne (wherin thou hast laboured) to be drincke for the straungers. |
| 62:9 | But they that haue gathered in the corne, shall eate it, & geue thanckes to the Lord: & they that haue borne in the wyne, shall drinck it in the court of my Sanctuary. |
| 62:10 | Go you, go you thorowe the gatis, make cleane the way, make playne, make playne the fote pathe, & take awaye the stones, out of yt & set out a token for the people. |
| 62:11 | Beholde, the Lord proclameth vnto the endes of the worlde: tell the daughter Syon: se, thy sauyour commeth, beholde, he bringeth his treasure with him, & his worckes go before him. |
| 62:12 | For they whom the Lord delyuereth, shalbe called the holy people: & as for the: thou shalt be named the greatlye occupyed, & not the forsaken cytie: |
| 62:1 | For Sion Y schal not be stille, and for Jerusalem Y schal not reste, til the iust man therof go out as schynyng, and the sauyour therof be teendid as a laumpe. |
| 62:2 | And hethene men schulen se thi iust man, and alle kyngis schulen se thi noble man; and a newe name, which the mouth of the Lord nemyde, schal be clepid to thee. |
| 62:3 | And thou schalt be a coroun of glorie in the hond of the Lord, and a diademe of the rewme in the hond of thi God. |
| 62:4 | Thou schalt no more be clepid forsakun, and thi lond schal no more be clepid desolat; but thou schalt be clepid My wille in that, and thi lond schal be enhabitid; for it plesid the Lord in thee, and thi lond schal be enhabited. |
| 62:5 | For a yong man schal dwelle with a virgyn, and thi sones schulen dwelle in thee; and the spouse schal haue ioie on the spousesse, and thi God schal haue ioie on thee. |
| 62:6 | Jerusalem, Y haue ordeyned keperis on thi wallis, al dai and al niyt with outen ende thei schulen not be stille. Ye that thenken on the Lord, be not stille, |
| 62:7 | and yyue ye not silence to him, til he stablische, and til he sette Jerusalem `preisyng in erthe. |
| 62:8 | The Lord swoor in his riyt hond and in the arm of his strengthe, Y schal no more yyue thi wheete mete to thin enemyes, and alien sones schulen not drynke thi wyn, in which thou hast trauelid. |
| 62:9 | For thei that schulen gadere it togidere, schulen ete it, and schulen herie the Lord; and thei that beren it togidere, schulen drynke in myn hooli hallis. |
| 62:10 | Passe ye, passe ye bi the yatis; make ye redi weie to the puple, make ye a playn path; and chese ye stoonys, and reise ye a signe to puplis. |
| 62:11 | Lo! the Lord made herd in the laste partis of the erthe. Seie ye to the douytir of Sion, Lo! thi sauyour cometh; lo! his meede is with hym, and his werk is bifore hym. |
| 62:12 | And thei schulen clepe hem the hooli puple, ayenbouyt of the Lord. Forsothe thou schalt be clepid a citee souyt, and not forsakun. |

| 62:5 | And like as yonge ma taketh a doughter to mariage, so shal God mary himself vnto yi sonnes. And as a brydegrome is glad of his bryde, so shal God reioyse ouer the. |
