| 11:1 | Oh, that you would bear with me in a little in my folly, and indeed you do bear with me. |
| 11:2 | Because, I am jealous for you with godly jealousy. Because, I have betrothed you to one husband, that I may present you as a pure virgin to Christ. |
| 11:3 | But I fear, lest somehow, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, so your minds may be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. |
| 11:4 | Because, if he who comes preaches another Jesus whom we have not preached, or if you receive a different spirit which you have not received, or a different gospel which you have not accepted, you may well put up with him! |
| 11:5 | Because, I consider that I am not at all inferior to the most eminent apostles. |
| 11:6 | Even though I am untrained in speech, yet I am not in knowledge. But we have been thoroughly manifested among you in all things. |
| 11:7 | Did I commit sin in humbling myself that you might be exalted, because I have preached the gospel of God to you free of charge? |
| 11:8 | I took from other churches, taking wages from them to minister to you. |
| 11:9 | And when I was present with you, and in need, I was a burden to no one, because, what I lacked the brethren who came from Macedonia supplied. And in all things I kept myself from being burdensome to you, and so I will keep myself. |
| 11:10 | As the truth of Christ is in me, no one will stop me from this boasting in the regions of Achaia. |
| 11:11 | Why? Because I do not love you? God knows! |
| 11:12 | But what I do, I will also continue to do, that I may cut off the opportunity from those who desire an opportunity to be regarded just as we are in the things of which they boast. |
| 11:13 | Because, such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ. |
| 11:14 | And no wonder! Because, Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. |
| 11:15 | Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also are transformed into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works. |
| 11:16 | I say again, let no one think me a fool. If otherwise, at least receive me as a fool, that I also may boast a little. |
| 11:17 | What I speak, I speak not according to the Lord, but as it were, foolishly, in this confidence of boasting. |
| 11:18 | Seeing that many boast according to the flesh, I also will boast. |
| 11:19 | Because, you put up with fools gladly, since you yourselves are wise! |
| 11:20 | because, you put up with it if one brings you into bondage, if one devours you, if one takes from you, if one exalts himself, if one strikes you on the face. |
| 11:21 | To our shame I say that we were too weak for that! But in whatever anyone is bold, I speak foolishly, I am bold also. |
| 11:22 | Are they Hebrews? So am I. Are they Israelites? So am I. Are they the seed of Abraham? So am I. |
| 11:23 | Are they ministers of Christ? I speak as a fool, I am more: in labors more abundant, in stripes above measure, in prisons more frequently, in deaths often. |
| 11:24 | From the Jews five times I received forty stripes minus one. |
| 11:25 | Three times I was beaten with rods; once I was stoned; three times I was shipwrecked; a night and a day I have been in the deep; |
| 11:26 | in frequent journeys, in danger from waters, in danger from robbers, in danger from my own countrymen, in danger from the Gentiles, in danger in the city, in danger in the wilderness, in danger in the sea, in danger among false brethren; |
| 11:27 | in weariness and toil, in sleeplessness often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness, |
| 11:28 | besides those things that are external, what comes upon me daily: the concern for all the churches. |
| 11:29 | Who is weak, and I am not weak? Who is offended, and I do not burn with indignation? |
| 11:30 | If I must boast, I will boast in the things which concern my weakness. |
| 11:31 | The God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who is blessed forever, knows that I am not lying. |
| 11:32 | In Damascus the governor, under Aretas the king, was guarding the city of the Damascenes with a garrison, desiring to arrest me; |
| 11:33 | but I was let down in a basket through a window by the wall, and escaped from his hands. |
| 11:1 | Woulde to God, yee coulde suffer a litle my foolishnes, and in deede, ye suffer me. |
| 11:2 | For I am ielous ouer you, with godly ielousie: for I haue prepared you for one husband, to present you as a pure virgine to Christ: |
| 11:3 | But I feare least as the serpent beguiled Eue through his subtiltie, so your mindes shoulde be corrupt from the simplicitie that is in Christ. |
| 11:4 | For if he that commeth, preacheth another Iesus whome we haue not preached: or if yee receiue another spirite whome ye haue not receiued: either another Gospell, which yee haue not receiued, ye might well haue suffered him. |
| 11:5 | Verely I suppose that I was not inferior to the very chiefe Apostles. |
| 11:6 | And though I be rude in speaking, yet I am not so in knowledge, but among you wee haue beene made manifest to the vttermost, in all things. |
| 11:7 | Haue I committed an offence, because I abased my selfe, that ye might be exalted, and because I preached to you ye Gospell of God freely? |
| 11:8 | I robbed other Churches, and tooke wages of them to doe you seruice. |
| 11:9 | And when I was present with you, and had neede, I was not slouthfull to the hinderance of any man: for that which was lacking vnto me, the brethre which came from Macedonia, supplied, and in all thinges I kept and will keepe my selfe, that I should not be grieuous to you. |
| 11:10 | The trueth of Christ is in me, that this reioycing shall not be shut vp against me in the regions of Achaia. |
| 11:11 | Wherefore? because I loue you not? God knoweth. |
| 11:12 | But what I doe, that will I doe: that I may cut away occasion from them which desire occasion, that they might be found like vnto vs in that wherein they reioyce. |
| 11:13 | For such false apostles are deceitfull workers, and transforme themselues into the Apostles of Christ. |
| 11:14 | And no marueile: for Satan himselfe is transformed into an Angel of light. |
| 11:15 | Therefore it is no great thing, though his ministers transforme themselues, as though they were the ministers of righteousnes, whose end shall be according to their workes. |
| 11:16 | I say againe, Let no man thinke that I am foolish, or els take mee euen as a foole, that I also may boast my selfe a litle. |
| 11:17 | That I speake, I speake it not after the Lord: but as it were foolishly, in this my great boasting. |
| 11:18 | Seeing that many reioyce after the flesh, I will reioyce also. |
| 11:19 | For ye suffer fooles gladly, because that yee are wise. |
| 11:20 | For ye suffer, euen if a man bring you into bondage, if a man deuoure you, if a man take your goods, if a man exalt himselfe, if a man smite you on the face. |
| 11:21 | I speake as concerning the reproche: as though that we had bene weake: but wherein any man is bold (I speake foolishly) I am bold also. |
| 11:22 | They are Hebrues, so am I: they are Israelites, so am I: they are the seede of Abraham, so am I: |
| 11:23 | They are the ministers of Christ (I speake as a foole) I am more: in labours more aboundant: in stripes aboue measure: in prison more plenteously: in death oft. |
| 11:24 | Of the Iewes fiue times receiued I fourtie stripes saue one. |
| 11:25 | I was thrise beaten with roddes: I was once stoned: I suffered thrise shipwracke: night and day haue I bene in the deepe sea. |
| 11:26 | In iourneying I was often, in perils of waters, in perils of robbers, in perils of mine owne nation, in perils among the Gentiles, in perils in the citie, in perils in wildernes, in perils in the sea, in perils among false brethren, |
| 11:27 | In wearinesse and painefulnesse, in watching often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in colde and in nakednesse. |
| 11:28 | Beside the thinges which are outwarde, I am combred dayly, and haue the care of all the Churches. |
| 11:29 | Who is weake, and I am not weake? who is offended, and I burne not? |
| 11:30 | If I must needes reioyce, I will reioyce of mine infirmities. |

| 11:1 | Wolde to god ye coulde suffre me a lytell in my folysshnes: yee and I praye you forbeare me. |
| 11:2 | For I am gelous over you with godly gelousy. For I coupled you to one man to make you a chaste virgen to Christ. |
| 11:3 | But I feare lest as the serpent begyled Eve thorow his sutteltie even so youre wittes shuld be corrupte from the singlenes that is in Christ. |
| 11:4 | For if he that commeth preache another Iesus then hym whom we preached: or if ye receave another sprete then that which ye have receaved: other another gospell then that ye have receaved ye myght right wel have bene content. |
| 11:5 | I suppose that I was not behynde ye chefe apostles. |

| 11:13 | For these falce apostles are disceatefull workers and fassion them selves lyke vnto ye apostles of Christ. |
| 11:14 | And no marvayle for satan him silfe is chaunged into the fassion of an angell of light. |
| 11:15 | Therfore it is no great thynge though his ministers fassion them selves as though they were the ministers of rightewesnes: whose ende shalbe acordynge to their dedes. |
| 11:16 | I saye agayne lest eny man thynke yt I am folishe: or els eve now take me as a fole that I maye bost my silfe a lytell. |
