Noah Webster's Bible 1833
| 126:1 | A Song of degrees. When the LORD turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream. |
| 126:2 | Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said they among the heathen, The LORD hath done great things for them. |
| 126:3 | The LORD hath done great things for us; of which we are glad. |
| 126:4 | Turn again our captivity, O LORD, as the streams in the south. |
| 126:5 | They that sow in tears shall reap in joy. |
| 126:6 | He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless return with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him. |

While Noah Webster, just a few years after producing his famous Dictionary of the English Language, produced his own modern translation of the English Bible in 1833; the public remained too loyal to the King James Version for Webster’s version to have much impact.
